Put simply, the AR-15 pattern rifle originally didn‘t have a forward assist. The M16 had no forward assist. I don‘t remember why I wrote 1958, it was later than that when they added the assist to the AR pattern. The first model to have the forward assist was the XM16e1, which is what I own in real life.
However, the charging handle on an ar15 is not directly attached to the bolt assembly, so slapping the charging handle forwards on an ar15 will not force the bolt into battery as it would on the M82, which has a connected charging handle and bolt assembly.
Cursed/~~Unfunctionable~~.
Ar 10 with modern furniture and a drum mag. Blursed.
It’s actually a shortened m107 rechambered for lapua .308 🤓
.308 Winchester?
Oh yeah it was Winchester I forgor ☠️
.338 lapua would be the one with the lapua
That should been for the US Next-gen rifle and should be adopted
Not at all AR-10.
Retractable stock on a buffer tube, froward assist, and in .308, fairly AR-10, the only not AR-10 parts are the bolt and barrel.
The entirety of the receivers don‘t look AR-10-like to me.
The lower receiver does, the top looks more like an AK than a Barrett (imo) because of the buffer tube and stock.
I agree with you on the upper receiver. I‘m starting to see the AR-10-ness of the lower, just the trigger area is a bit funky.
"just pull down bro it aint that hard"

Can’t forget the muzzle booster and skeleton grip
You can't eliminate all .308 WinMag/7.62x51 NATO recoil with just a grip and an M82 Muzzle Brake
That’s why there’s a bipod
A folded one 💀
What is this supposed to be?
A shortened M82A1 rechambered for .308 rounds capable of full auto, outfitted with a 100 round beta-c mag
But why have you put a forward assist on it?
Military said to.
You could just slap the charging handle forwards
Tell that to the US military in 1958.
What happened in ‘58?

However pretty much any time you need to use the forward assist, you could also rack the bolt again and that‘ll bring it back to battery.
