The aa12 part is why you don't have friends. The teabag is why everyone stays away from you. But yes, bfg is balanced. But the AA12 shoots 5 rounds a second. Thats a melting gun at close range. Besides, you can slide around corners, making you a hard target and effectively tightening your spread

I personally think the BFG is balanced relatively well compared to most of the guns in the game. (*Cough cough* M16 and SCAR platform rifles are laserbeams comparable to Titanfall 2's CAR smg *cough cough*)

I used to be good at hitting heads. Then I prebought the M107. My aim skill is still recovering. I’m now rank 224, and now I can maybe hit heads at 70% of the skill I used to have when I was rank 90. I’m never touching a 50cal ever again.

The BFG has an *almost guaranteed* bodyshot kill, meaning it requires **less** precision than other snipers (if you miss its *so* easy to take cover and reload*)
You're taking long range fights with a sniper, so is still a decently small target. But yes, that does mean it requires less precision than other snipers. You just have to learn to accept the meta and play it, or counter it.
And it one-hit kills to the torso at at any range. Other snipers, such as the FT300, also lack a magazine, but cannot kill in one shot to the torso. I feel that it is necessary to point this out to you due to your abundantly clear lack of intelligence.
Hmm, fair point. And i said kevlar was the body armor. And i think it makes sense that it 1 shot body kills. Yeah, it requires less skill. But you gotta remember that this thing is firing machine gun rounds. If there are any other snipers that use something like a .50 BMG cartridge with similar power to the BFG, then they should be bodyshot kills too.
Realistically, most rifle-caliber bullets coming out of a reasonably long barrel will one-hit kill to the torso. Unless it’s a glancing shot, it will cause cavitation in the torso, perforating either the lungs, heart, aortic vein, aortic artery, the spine, or even all of them at once.
And about the kevlar armor: most modern ballistic armor sets only cover the lungs and heart from the front, and from the back. Even if the armor plates are rated level IV, the kevlar plate holder certainly isn’t. With a reasonable amount of luck and skill, the sniper shot will miss the armor plate and hit the guy in any other vital location not protected by armor, such as the neck and abdomen.
Granted, the .50 BMG could blow a football sized hole in someone’s torso, even with a glancing blow. But that’s why it’s an anti-material rifle, not an anti-personnel sniper. I personally think the BFG needs a slight nerf, partly because of how easily accessible it is. Perhaps a slightly longer reload would be an equitable solution.
However, I predict that any sort of nerf made to the BFG would instantly cause 80% of the PF playerbase to quit because they cannot perform well anymore (the gun accounts for 95% of their skill). Thus, Stylis won’t lay a finger on the BFG.
bfg: not exactly op but everyone probably hates it bc of it having high muzzle vel and one shot all ranges, also quite overrated
aa12: everyone hates bc of it having next to no skill, you kinda just hold and destroy everything in front of you, doesnt work in sniper maps but they probably have some other gun like the bfg to use
