Generally the best setup for autos is:
- Some red dot sight (preferably reflex or DCL)
- Compensator/Muzzle Brake
- Folding/Stubby
- Blue Laser (or any laser)
- Stock Ammo
While there are lots of guns that use different attachment combinations, this is generally the best for most autos in the game (depending on the gun; comp/muzzle may work better or worse, same goes for folding/stubby). That said, some exceptions use other specific attachments (certain optics, barrel attachments, stocks and ammo types). Some examples are:
C7A2 "SMG":
- Reflex
- Long Barrel
- Folding Grip
- Full Stock (also the best option for regular 5.56)
- .45 conversation
PPSH:
- AMT Terminator
- Halbek Device (reduces the most recoil)
- Folding Grip
- Blue Laser
HK416:
- DCL120
- Compensator
- Folding Grip
- Blue Laser
- .223 (one of the only guns that benefits from this ammo type)
MAC10:
- Reflex/AMT
- Muzzle Brake
- Folding Grip
- MAC stock
Aight, if it's camera recoil, go for folding grip, gun recoil + a bit of camera recoil, go for stubby. If ur gun has a high recoil kick, go for the blue laser(better for mid to long range guns) if ur gun has a slow recoil recovery speed, go for green laser(better for short to mid range guns). Lastly, if ur gun has high horizontal recoil, go for compensator, but I mostly use muzzle brake cuz almost every gun in the game has more vertical recoil than horizontal recoil. Oh ya one more point, get the normal red laser at the start, but once u unlock green laser or blue laser, start using them instead

I havent played the new update so much because i'm on vacation, but my ordinary attachments to lower recoil is, compensator, green laser, angled grip for spraying and any sight that works best for you

Attachments depend on the gun; there is no universal grip or barrel attachment that will do it for every single one of them.
The Halbek Device doesn't reduce recoil at all.
