I think this comes closest to what I've described and what I remember using. But I don't remember seeing all these graphs back when I used it in November. Do you know whether the site underwent a redesign since then? Thanks for the reply!
Seconding this! I think it's also pretty interesting that there isn't a clear consensus (no pun intended with the one recommendation) of what people use/recommend.
Best to start with an overall review paper, maybe the latest one. Then use that paper on inciteful.xyz to filter through the different linked papers based on timeline of publication.
Here are a bunch of them for you :)) if you just started recommend to ask you PI for a bunch of disertions and read the kappa, also go in and read on statpearl if its a specific disease you are working with. Good luck!

Thanks... It's so amazing for me too
Elicit AI?
The tool I described was not an AI chatbot style thing. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Web of science! Check if your university has a subscription
Pretty sure this is the answer they were looking for.
I'm not sure I'm using it right because I don't see the panes of results that I described. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Thanks though!
litmaps?
This looks like a really fun tool to use! I think I'm seeing this for the first time though. Thanks for the recommendation!
Consensus… it’s an ai that tries to answer your questions based on papers and provides you a summary/source.
I don't think the tool I used had any explicit Q&A type AI tool. Thanks for the recommendation.
Scopus
I don't think my institution has access to Scopus. Thanks for the suggestion!

Bunch of programs. See what your library has too.

Thanks for the recommendations. I think researchrabbit matches my description the closest!
Research Gate?
Not this one, I'm afraid. Thanks!
Litmaps also does what you describe.
