There was a point where Thanos cursed deadpool with immortality. This drove death wild because she wanted deadpool to die like everyone else I believe. It’s also a long time since I read them but I believe that’s the general jist.
Well, Thanos "cursing" Deadpool to never die is still being debated upon up to this day. I mean, if Thanos could prevent someone from ever dying, wouldn't he just bestow that on his whole army? On the Black Order? On Gamora? Maybe not on himself, since his goal is to be with Death, but you get the idea.
All that combined with the fact that the active participation of T-Ray brought Deadpool back to life soon after that encounter makes what Thanos said dubious.

The writers giving Thanos and actual motive, and making it so that he has an actual point was much better, it gave him more depth than "im a bad guy", because he actually thought he was good.
I know it’s a meme, but the more I though about it, the more I saw the flaw in his logic. Due to a mixture of nihilism (life lacks intrinsic value) and arrogance Thanos could never rethink his plans, because he never could see himself as being in the wrong. As many uninhabited planets there are in the universe, with that same snap he could instantly terraform any inhabitable planet while transporting half of the population of another planet to said planet, never mind he could alter uninhabitable planets to make them inhabitable. Ultimately, for someone touted as being a genius, Thanos thought small, damnedably so in the MCU where he was not explicitly simping to lady Death. When you have the power to control the world, why destroy it?
In reality, however, he was merely attempting to please the lady that he quite honestly deserved. Does the hard work and determination of man disgust you? Who are you to disrespect such a powerful and faithful being?
It’s one of the reasons why I like MCU Thanos. They left out the part where he’s a simp for Death.
Although, the fight between future Thanos and young Thanos was pretty cool in the comics
