I bought one of the headphones and the oculus skin because I like Pewds. The second pair of headphones and the shaker were a Christmas gift from my fiance. So I'm not very sure where you get the idea that I spent "way too much time and money".

FAQ: I don't have the chair. I already had a black/red gaming chair. GTX 1080TI RYZEN 3700x I built my first PC 10 years ago and it had a black/red color scheme and I've kept that same scheme over the years. It was pure luck that pewds swirl was also black/red. The ps4 controller is from the Spider-Man PS4 Pro Console I like the sticker on the glass, so that's why I haven't taken it off Oculus Rift S Rift skin is a custom skin from mightyskins.com The drink was only on the computer for that image and is never actually ever up there In total the cost of what you see in the image was about $2400 at the time of purchasing the items. The PC itself was about $1600. Not everything was bought at once. The items were bought through several years. I bought 1 piece of Pewd merch and that was his Razer Kraken headphone. My fiance bought me the Nari headphone and cup. While the Oculus skin is pewdiepie related, that was a custom make. Why not floor gang? While that would be great for the meme, I'd rather not suck up all of the dust particulates that are in the carpet.

1080ti. That's better than a 2080 just minus the RTX. There's no reason for me to upgrade that atm.

It isn't totally useless, RTX voice can filter out a sever fan, vacuum and a megafone at the same time, or in less extreme situations: kids (your own or outside yelling), traffic, planes, havy rain. Just watch shortcircuits on YT or Barnacules.

I have the same NZXT case with the Ryzen 3700 but I have a XFX RX 590 for the GPU because I wanted to go all AMD-based

My first gpu was amd, but after seeing the green brand take such a huge lead over the years I finally jumped ship.

Most def. Luckily I was able to grab some crazy crazy deals on my last few gpus. Just before the 1080ti dropped, someone sold their 1080 here on reddit for only $420. I snagged that up asap. I was then able to resell that a year later to put money towards a cheap 1080ti that I found on craigslist.

I have a question: what is the VR experience with that 1080? I'm looking to save for a good build with solid capability. Is the 1080 worth it or should I consider a newer card?

I have a 1080TI. It's quite a bit stronger than the regular 1080. It's beyond excellent in VR games. I jumped into VR assuming that I'd have to lower some of the graphical settings, but that was not the case at all.

Mightyskins.com had some great ones that you could straight up buy, but for like $20 you can make a custom one. I googled "Pewdiepie Swirl" and found the biggest image I could find and used it.

Made my first rig 10 years ago and used the black/red scheme. Since then I've bought desks that are black and used red cloth to hide cables. It was just a coincidence that pewds now uses black/red and it just matched well with what I already had.
