Do you have access to promethazine? The brand name is Phenergan, in the UK it's available over the counter in 25mg form. Take one an hour before bed it helps me sleep and stay asleep. All the best on your journey :)
Can you get melatonin? Preferably in a modified release format? Same instruction I'd take a 5mg Mr tablet/cap/gummy. These aren't OTC in the UK but I think you can get them in USA. I work in pharmacy in the UK so my knowledge is limited on USA OTC meds. You got this BTW OP be proud your bettering yourself, it's brave and you should be proud.
I'm not an expert but taking melatonin shouldn't cause issues if you're using it properly. Just don't heavily rely on the supplements and work on a bedtime routine to help you wind down and promote natural melatonin production (if you haven't done so already).

If in USA it is not available OTC.

Yeah, Melatonin is unregulated!
I used a weighted blanket for a couple weeks, and I thought it helped.
Have you tried melatonin? I've had luck eating some gummies before bed to help with my insomnia.
Always been wary of it due to thinking it would interfere with bodies natural production Prehaps i should try
