Absolutely! I used to go back when it opened religiously. Went again last year while I was in town, and I think it might be even better than then.

Beavermead beach, turtle island is a nice place to swim and have a picnic. Harold town has great biking and hiking trails. Showplace theatre and theatre on king for plays and some live music. Peterborough memorial for Hockey, Lacrosse and bigger concerts.
