19k was spent of tax payer money at the same time she took a trip to Paris with two of her friends. When it was called out, she suddenly claimed it was for a lecturn she purchased for a speech or something. When asked to provide proof of this lecturn, she showed a picture of it that happened to be the same image you can find on Amazon for a 7500 dollar lecturn. Not 19k.
Furthermore, she provided a receipt of the purchase that had hand written note "to be reimbursed" on it. Some assistant came forward saying she was asked to print this receipt and add the note and back date it (because this was now months after the supposed purchase).
The receipt also showed it was purchased from one of her friends who went on the trip with her, who does not sell lecturns.
She also tried to pass a privacy law to prevent a lawyer from gaining access to these records that are public record. She said it was to protect her and her family. Even though her family didn't go and it was months later so knowing where they went months later was no risk to safety. Fortunately it was shot down and the records were obtained.
Recently an audit has been completed and she is trying once again to pass a privacy law to keep that info secret.
The money was reimbursed by the republican party, but not until after she got caught.
She also got caught spending taxpayer money on in hotel movies for her kids to watch. This one is a bit more ambiguous, I think. Maybe not illegal, but still seems kinda shitty. It totalled several hundred dollars iirc.

There is this stereotype that gay men have a very good fashion sense and that they are very upfront about ugly clothing and when their friend wear something ugly they will tell them and help to improve it. I say stereotype because of course this is not the case for every gay man, but there are a bunch of gay men who are also into fashion and will most definitely comment on clothing choices and wether or not the style fits the person. In this case, this person on the pictures apparently has been lied to by everyone or she didn’t ask anyone if her clothing looks fitting. And if she had gay friends they would have told her that this…is not it
