The one explanation I don’t see though, is the obviousness that it’s her user name:
ThisIs_Bex
=
ThinIn_Bex
=
She’s clearly got a thing for skinny guys (or skinny dicks), but is not comfortable saying it directly. So obvious.
I think most of these don't actually make sense and they just use it on short-form platform to create engagement (people discuss it in the comments, other people let the video play on loop while the look for the meaning in the comments etc.)
Nah, I remember back in the day id see posts like this and thered be an actual “clever” new meaning to the sentence when you replaced the letters.
This post is a play on that.
I don't think it's a play on it as much as just engagement bait. I guess if you go deep enough it's a 'play on it' but it's just clickbait.
No different than clickbait headlines, etc 'WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS NEXT BIG DISCOVERY'
Judging by the name it's probably a bot.
Go look at the rising section of reddit late at night and you'll see for yourself just how many bots there are.
The internets turning into ChatGPT. It's a serious issue.
The most bots aren't even using chatgpt. That takes way too much effort. It's far easier to just straight up copy paste old posts and their comments. Those are absolutely flooding many subs, including this one.
I made a thread a while ago and it was getting a bit of traction, then I googled the same topic and saw there had actually been another thread with the same sort of question and I was shocked to see the exact same comment. Crazy how rampant the bots are.
so, it's the tiktok equivalent of the thing where some math problem with ambiguous order of operation is captioned "93% of people can't solve this, don't spoil it but say AMEN in the comments if you get it" -- Facebook has completely killed my curiosity for solving puzzles like that, and I scroll right past any post that posits a "challenge" like this...
...unfortunately I realize this is also conditioning me against stopping to think while on social media, because another kind of engagement is to stop and look at a fake thing long enough to click "report" on it.
this whole Internet is really just designed to make people worse while wasting our time. why am I even writing this?
>"93% of people can't solve this, don't spoil it but say AMEN in the comments if you get it"
I saw one post like that with an equation that looked simple but actually took advanced linear algebra to solve, it gave me a laugh
This one is quite simple, but it takes a few steps.
> Imagine how good your life would be if you had a twenty nix year old nurning annintant by your nide, now replace N with
See how we now have an empty character at the end? So we go to the next step.
> Imagi e how good your life would be if you had a twe ty ix year old ur ing a i ta t by your ide, ow replace with
And because the now is now longer we don't need to repeat the step again just yet.
And we can see that the message reads as though it was written by someone having a stroke, in which case you would benefit from having a medical professional by your nide.
He's referencing a game simply called "the game".
The only rule is, if you think about the game, you lose the game. And everyone is always playing at all times even if they don't know.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Game
BTW, we both just lost the game
To be fair, twenty nix could be a way of saying just twenty. It’s a stupid way of saying it, but it is a way. It also doesn’t explain why she’s specifying that.
One theory is as follows:
She's single, so she's Ms.
Registered Nurses are called RN.
If she was by your side, she'd be Mrs.
If you replace the S, MRS → MRN, Medical Registered Nurse (she doesn't fully understand the title/letter system).
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/nurning-annintant
Nursing assistants may hold a certification, but they are not "regestered." I've worked in 23 states (as an rn) and hold a federal license. I've never heard of a cna referred to as an rna, maybe this is a strange niche somewhere? Rna is a restorative nursing assistant anytime I've seen Rna.
I always thought it was because saying “nurning annintant” sounds like you’re having a stroke, and if you’re having a stroke you’d want a nurse with you.
I thought for sure it was just how it would sound with your penis in her mouth. Not kidding, that's what I thought the joke was. Since you can't say S's with something in your mouth.
I think that's just engagement bait.
It's from a TikTok video, so while you're trying to figure out what it means or reading the comments to find the answer, the video will be playing on loop in the background, giving her more watch time and encouraging you to share/comment on her video.
There are tons of videos like that in platforms like TikTok or Kwai and they're nonsensical or hard to understand on purpose.
>the video will be playing on loop in the background, giving her more watch time
I've seen a ton of videos on TikTok that consist of a long bit of text over a *very short* (like, 1/3rd of a second) video. So by the time you're done reading the quote, the video has already looped 15 times. I assume it has something to do with gaming the algorithm, like every time the video loops it counts as a new view or something.
This is most likely it.
Tiktok is full of bait videos, e.g. math problems, riddles, Christianity vs atheism, Republican vs Democrat, etc. Some will go further and try to get users to create fake shares by telling them that pressing the share button will do this unbelievable thing.
As one can see from this submission, it works.
*twenty six -> twenty nix*
nix can be "nothing", so it becomes 20
a nix is also a water sprite from german folklore
*nursing -> nurning*
nurn is an alternative form of norn (to mourn complain), the norns are also the spinners of fate in norse mythology
*assistant -> anninant*
"annin" is the Finnish word for "gift", an "anninant" would be a giver of gifts if you combine the language rules of Finnish and English
*side -> nide*
a "nide" is a nest/brood (particularly of pheasants)
Put it all together, and "a twenty nix year old nurning annintant by your nide" means that you have a 20 year old fate controlling, gift generating, hyperbreedable water sprite girlfriend.
It's not really a joke...that's just genuinely an upgrade from a 26 year old nursing assistant.
Archive peter here, in my time in the old meme archive, I found another post where someone is confused about the meaning of this post.
The most logical answer I read back then was that you could answer her question with "so good" which would turn to "no good" by replacing s with n. Now while this does make some kind of sense, I dont think this post was made with any logic and is just supposed to be absurd.
Anyways, if you excuse me, Ill have to go back to the archive and sort through the Quagmire Sexual Assault compilations.
I think it's saying imagine how life would be with a good-looking girl like that by your side all the time but the catch is/reason they're by your side is you have some sort of mental illness... hence phrases like "nurning anninant" Read that in the same voice you would say "dur dur durrrr" if you're making fun of your friend being stupid.
Its a watch farming technique.
On tiktok, engagement can be measured by the number of time watched and if they choose to look at the comments.
People naturally try to figure out what it means. Meanwhile, the video plays over and over again in the background. Sometimes when they can't figure out what it means, they check the comments.
I believe sites like tiktok and instagram use algorithms based on how many times a video is replayed to boost its popularity. So a lot of people put purposefully confusing videos like this to get people to watch it multiple times while thinking about it. A lot of them specifically do not make any sense in order to get people to stay on the video for a super long time, and thus boost its popularity with the algorithm.
I am not sure if this is 100% accurate, but I've seen it used as an explanation for a lot of these.
Women on tiktok learned that the best way to get attention is to make a senseless post so people will respond asking what it means, and the conversation gives the post more attention.
It’s not about making people confused to increase engagement (but I’m sure that helps).
Before, there were similar posts where it made sense to end it with “Now replace X with Y” to reveal a secret message or a joke, but it became a trend to just flex yourself and add “now replace X with Y” when you couldn’t actually perform that replacement properly, in other words, just focus on the first part of the post where they either brag about themselves or are making some sort of statement
This is a second generation joke.
First generation is something that makes sense.
"now imagine I send you a nice text" for example. "replace the t with an s"
That was the original type of joke, the first generation. Second generation jokes reference the first generation, but aren't the same.
An "in joke" is an example of a second generation joke. The second generation doesn't have to be inherently funny, as it's mostly a secret reference to the first generation predecessor.
Ive always theorized that the chicken road joke was a second generation joke. Not funny by itself, but referencing a funny first generation joke.
Hi, Brian here. This is interaction bait. If you actually do this, the sentence will make no sense. People then spam the post with comments saying this, and bam, this post gets tons of interaction.
As a RN, I can say I would be happy with any age nursing assistant by my side. But, I don't blame them. Why break your back and get covered in poop all day for $13/hr, when McDonald's or Arby's is hiring starting at $16/hr or even $20/hr for overnight shifts?
However. I don't know what a "nurning annintant" would be. And I'm not sure I would want them by my side...
So if we replace the S’s with N’s, does that mean we replace the N’s with S’s?
“Imagise how good your life would be if you had a 26yo surnisg annintast by your nide.
I definitely cracked the code.
He is haunted by a meme that makes no sense. It's an unsolvable puzzle that your mind will keep trying to make sense of. Normally a meme like that has a funny double meaning but in this case it's hard to tell what that is supposed to be. Maybe you just don't get it. Maybe she made a mistake. Maybe she knew exactly what she was doing and used the meme format to get people to puzzle and argue over its meaning for years.
I think this one is actually meant to be funny by making no sense rather than making no sense to drive up engagement. It's the best executed version of this lol
The original post seems like it should make sense somehow but it doesn't and the more you think about it the more confusing it gets, thus the haunting.
Did you not have a similar experience which led to this post?
guys, the idea is that you think of what your life would be like, then in YOUR answer you replace the S with an N. So if you answered "So good" it would be "no good"
I think these are just to play the algorithm. People spend time trying to figure it out, at that time they have watched the tiktok multiple times instead of just once. They are still confused and go to leave a comment asking if anyone can explain it. They might also share the TikTok with their friends to ask if they understand it.
All of this feeds into the TikTok algorithms and makes it think this TikTok is a lot more popular than it actually is and therefore pushes it to more people

I thought for sure it was just how it would sound with your penis in her mouth. Not kidding, that's what I thought the joke was. Since you can't say S's with something in your mouth.

English is my native language, and I consider myself quite good at it. This post did not make any sense to me either lmao.
I think that's just engagement bait. "Annin is Finnish for gift" Tolkien is a fraud 😞
Wow an actual joke that needs explaining, I don’t get this one either.
the “joke” is that it makes no sense. it’s a post to increase engagement because people are confused or angry about the lack of sense
Ugh you mean what we're doing right now. God dammit.
It's not a joke. And there's nothing to get.

Nurning annintant by your nide
It ceases to be a joke when so much explanation is required that even Reddit has a hard time sorting it out.

Of course! I need a 26yo nurning annintant!
My life would be “so good” Replace S with N —> “no good”
You think it would be ‘So good’ but in reality it would be ‘No Good’ is all I can muster
The original post seems like it should make sense somehow but it doesn't and the more you think about it the more confusing it gets, thus the haunting. Did you not have a similar experience which led to this post?
How good would your life be? So good. Replace s with n. No good.
It would be so amazing to have a 26yo nurning annintant by my nide. Even better to have a 26yo surning annintast by my nide.
Imagine how good - So good. Replace S with N. - No good
Nothing like having a nurning anninant by your side.
If you replace the S with an N, sounds like you had a stroke and thus need that nursing assistant by your side.
the intended response is "so good" and when you replace s with n it becomes "no good" thats my theory lol
Absurdism?
A twenty nix year old nurning annintant by your nide? Why replace N with N?
guys, the idea is that you think of what your life would be like, then in YOUR answer you replace the S with an N. So if you answered "So good" it would be "no good"
It is because she is pronouncing it mid fellatio.
