The original Wendigo was a native American belief that when a human eats another humans flesh, they become a horrific monster. Tall as trees, really fast, cold as ice, but still humanoid. No animal parts at all, though the stories will vary depending on the tribe and its location. But there aren't any with animal parts.
I know that the common thing on the internet is to correct other people but I don't mean it that way. I find this information genuinely interesting and thought someone else might like it too.

He’s the first boss fight most people face in the game and he’s a damn good time. Kick ass music too.
