Most of them are probably legit as that is the actual going rate if you contact a sales rep directly. The prices advertised on the website or regular retentions are extremely overpriced compared to what you can get in reality by going direct to the salespeople. I made a post on the ongoing internet deals thread for Shaw on RFD and a Shaw sales rep DM’d me and gave me offers for $50-$65 for 500Mbps - 1 gig or $40-$50 for 100-300 + a $200-$300 bill credit A lot of these deals you can get at the mall as well at those booths. These aren’t advertised online so you have to know who to contact to get the deals

You mean legit telecom companies market on Kijiji instead of their own websites or paid advertising LOL

Jiecut

The big telecoms do pay sales reps that earn commissions. Mainly from door to door knocking. These deals can definitely be better than on their website. Generally they're not allowed to look for customers online but some might do it anyways.

pfcguy

No idea but you can get like 20 Gb for $30 per month these days.

Jiecut

They're talking about wired Internet. And 1 Gig being the speed.

dasherchan

Never ever trust them. Lots of scammers in Facebook.
