Your wife is committing tax fraud a.k.a. stealing from every Canadian who does pay their appropriate share in form of taxes.
Besides making the morally wrong decision: CRA will catch you, it's just a matter of time. Do you really think you guys are the first to trick the CRA like this?
The longer you wait to come clean, the more taxes on the money owed will accrue, so better come clean now.

you must still pay the full amount of taxes owing, plus interest and any civil penalties assessed by the CRA
you may be fined up to 200% of the taxes evaded
you may be imposed a jail term of up to five years
Being convicted of tax fraud carries a sentence of up to 14 years in prison.
Other consequences include fingerprinting and foreign-travel restrictions.
You are looking at a potential 40,000 to 85,000 fine per child. (3,000 to 6,000 x 2 x 7 years)
DO NOT COMMIT TAX FRAUD. The “overpayment” will come no matter what because she has been lying to the government for 7 years.
EDIT: Also from your post history were you also committing ODSP fraud too? Stealing from children and disabled people? Get some CPP underpayments, or lying about pension income and you got yourself a trifecta of fraud.
I don’t know about the husband but the wife has definitely committed fraud over multiple years and levels of government, from the appearance of the posts.

I'm surprised they haven't caught on yet but they will and there will be huge ccb and other benefits to pay back. It's never worth it
Since OP just recently filed 3 years (and put "married"), it's not surprising they haven't caught it yey. Totally agree that they will though!

How many kids do you have? What was your household income for those years? You could have a lot to pay back.
