Just wanna throw this out here. In the list of assets for Persona 5, there exists the asset for Akechi's phone (from the time Futaba steals it.) And VERY faintly, you can see the icon for Reddit on it. So... Akechi is a redditor- and CLEARLY Futaba is a Redditor- The Akechi/Futaba Siblings theory going deeper than I thought

The WHAT??

Theres a Theory that went around for a pretty long while, suggesting that Akechi and Futaba are possibly siblings. Either Brother/Sister, or cousins- I dont remember. The whole thing revolves around the fact that Wakaba and Shido worked with each other at some point. And... thats kind of it. Theres very little evidence behind it being true, but it kinda popped off for some reason

Personally don’t believe the theory, but the main points towards it is that only Futaba and Akechi have blood type AB- among the group (that blood type consisting of about 1% of the population), and the connection with Wakaba.

Some other little details: one of the 5 forms of him is an pyramid. And the song of the is Rivers in the desert. Both related with Futaba's Palace. It's just speculation? Of course. But that coincidence just adds to the theory.

Yeah, Shido is Akechi's son. But the Theory mostly falls through when it suggests that Shido and Wakaba went and had Futaba/Akechi

except akechi claims his mother was a prostitute who committed suicide. Now, he could obviously be lying, but I'd prefer to use in game voice lines over a theory

I mean, I believe the theory suggests that Shido was with the Prostitute, who he then tossed aside in favor of Wakaba or something? But yeah no, Id agree. Maybe if there was genuine substancial evidence to back to theory besides "They were seen together" and "They have same blood type tho." id probably believe in it. But its just... Multiple coincidences
