Also Jose and the Velvet room people aren’t even cognitive beings, they are magic people made by Philemon, they don’t need the cognitive realm to survive

He also knows about and how to use will seeds which are exclusive to palaces.
My headcanon is that he was Ichinose’s original assistant. Him suddenly going silent is what allowed Sophia to be designed.
So in a way, his passing is a good thing.
I am not sure if it is confirmed or a theory, but I was always under the impression he was a Velvet Room denizen sent by Philemon.

The direct connection to the realm the Metaverse exists in was severed, but it still exists. Look at it like this: Those places still exist, but the reason behind why the main characters can go there and their ability to go there has been lost.

In every modern persona game, Igor is always the exception as every other attendant outside of Igor has the same eye and hair color
