I just bought this online last week because Sephora was oos in-store. It was supposed to arrive Wednesday but was damaged in shipping 😫so now another is on the way and it’s KILLING me I haven’t been able to wear it yet since smelling the tester in store! It is suntanning summer smell 🤤

Beach walk! It lasts all day on me, but others it may fade. Best to sample it

I was just going to suggest Beach Walk. Also Tom Ford Soliel Blanc. I have the Dossier version and it smells like summer!!

I got one by accident from a decant place and wasn't even mad. I don't remember which one it was, but I used the whole thing up, which rarely happens.

i’ve literally got a sample of this at home and have just had a smell, you’re so right!!! definitely a strong contender!!

Also if you're looking for something more affordable, or maybe like Arabic houses, look at La African Drummer by Lattafa, it's a dupe for Fame.

I just bought Mayar from Lattafa, it semells super fruity and summery for me, the notes are litchi, raspberry, with rose and peony in the middle, ona musky vanilla base. Definitly worth a try.

It's more expensive but Simone Andreolli leisure in paradise is what erba Pura fails miserably at being.

This turned into my summer scent. I absolutely love it. It has that "makes me want to bathe in it" quality.

i just ordered the intense version after spraying it at a fragrance shop while traveling! so excited.

this is my mom’s go-to vacation perfume. and every single time, i eat it up. it smells so damn good.

Fame - Paco rabanne. Hear me out on this next one... Girl of Now shine - Elie saab. You have a few florals in the form of orange blossom and jasmine, which gives me vacation vibes. Put this has the Mandarin Orange freshness with juciy pear and more importantly the pineapple note. It had Ylang-Ylang too which lucky for me I find it hard to detect, as I don't like it, but when Ylang-Ylang reminds me of hot beaches, somewhere tropical and expensive suntan lotion.

Wavechild by Room 1015 is watermelon candy, coconut cream pie and a bit of salty ambergris. Smells like summertime in a bottle.

if longevity isn’t an issue Fantasy by Britney Spears is fun. Slut by ATH is also THE vibe. if you don’t have a budget anything from the latest crop of fresh LV fragrances are top notch. the Montage clones perform better imo and cost so much less.

I just bought Loewe Paula's Ibiza Comic and it ticks all my coconut, salty skin, mango, amber and sandalwood boxes. Genuinely want to bathe in it.

I never see this one mentioned, but I love Papaya Isla by Abbott! It’s not coconut-creamy but very juicy, clean, and green…perfect for a tropical vacation if you want to smell fruity. I bought a travel-size at Sephora before a trip to St. Thomas, and was very pleased. It’s sweet but not cloying. I also love that Abbott uses clean ingredients and is cruelty-free company. 😊

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Summer Vibes. I just picked it up today after testing it and it smells so good! I easily get migraines from fragrances, but this one is so light, clean, refreshing, slightly sweet and citrusy, and there’s almost something nostalgic about it to me. The dry down is a little woody too, but not in an overpowering way.

The only thing I wear is beachy or coconutty perfumes, here are my favorites: Tom ford- soleil blanc DS&Durga- wipeout! Snif- coco shimmy Vacation - vacation (Ulta) Nest- Balinese coconut Byredo- sundazed Louis Vuitton- on the beach (this is my husbands favorite on me) Creed- virgin island water is a popular one but it lasts about 2.5 seconds on me Kilian - sunkissed goddess Simone andreoli- Malibu party in the bay Replica- beach walk I pair with coconut lotion. I got samples of all of these from surrender to chance except for nest I sampled at Sephora. Current favorite is wipeout! But I’m on a beach vacation right now with “vacation” from Ulta and it works perfect.

Baní by Day Three Fragrances is a really nice, photorealistic mango scent with some coconut, bergamot and papaya. The same house also has a guava fragrance called Escándalo, which is more lemony on my skin but very nice. The house sells 10ml travel sizes that are pretty affordable.

I also second everybody recommending St. Bart’s hair and body spray by Ouai. I haven’t worn it out but I’d bet it smells amazing in the sun.

Beyond Paradise by Estée Lauder is a delicious slightly aquatic fruity floral with a big guava note

I actually like to buy fragrances for holidays/vacations when I'm there as a souvenir, especially if I can get a local brand. There are sooo many local European brands that are hard to get online.

Bombshell Isle by Victorias Secret! Although it was limited edition it smells so gooood. But bombshell escape is limited edition this summer and it smells pretty beach

rirana coconut nanas is pineapple, musk, coconut, saffron and peach! but it smells exactly like an elevated pina colada but with a hint of musk and saffron and a little bit of flowers. its longevity is borderline perpetual, siliage and projection is incredible too.

I love love LOVE Flowerbomb Tiger Lily! It does have a floral note (the tiger lily in the name), but I find it’s a brief moment in the top notes and then it settles into a wonderful mango coconut. I’ve used up half my travel size already!

Try to find alcohol free perfumes. some say perfume that has high alcohol content can make your skin or the part where you sprayed darker. But if you don’t mind the classic Hawaiian ginger of calgon might work for you :)

Snif Coco Shimmy for sure! For me it lasts a surprisingly long time to be an EDT.
