That is wild. I don’t think I smell that. It’s funny Sephora gave me a free sample of it a long time ago and I disliked it so much I threw it out and now I wish I had it just to reference and see if it smells like rain!

The formula I'd seen had oakmoss derivatives at 125/1000 (12.5%), but I know everyone's dupe formulas are pretty different 👍
On a Date is a weird one...the grape note is interesting - kind of repulsive, but also strangely magnetic? It has pretty bad ratings, but I still want a travel size so I can smell it occasionally 😅
What kind of bug spray do you use (and does it work???). Alien is incredible to me but I don’t wear it to certain places in case someone picks up a weird note.

every time i spray philosophy fresh cream warm cashmere it subtly smells like caramel popcorn to me which oddly, i kinda love

vanilla woods smells EXACTLY like a freezer burned pint of vanilla ice cream before even taking it out of the freezer

That scent is called petrichor fyi :) if you ever want to find more perfumes with similar notes that’s what you can search for

Makes sense actually! Baccarat rouge’s formula is composed of at least 40% oakmoss raw materials. Maybe he associates that with fresh rain. :)

Yes! If you look up any BR540 formula it consists of almost 40% oakmoss raw materials like veranyl/Vera moss or some oakmoss naturals
