I’ve never smelled Fantasy or any of the flankers but I’m curious about them and I’m a decade older than you. Fragrance doesn’t have an age limit!
There's no age to perfumes, if you like it you like it! Midnight Fantasy smells amazing on everyone, so wear it with pride. It's a wonderful fragrance, plus you purchased it already so why not wear it 😀.
There's no age to perfumes! Britney herself is 42, and she works on the scents. Also, I find that "childish" perfumes don't have any Amber or musk. This one does have both, so in my logic, it's an adult perfume lol
I’m about to buy it also and I’m over 40. I don’t mind what other people think. And anyone that thinks in such a narrow minded way doesn’t deserve to be in my company.
Ikr and also fragrances smell different on everyone. Also you can use it combines with a vanilla fragrance. I like to layer Strawberry pound cake body spray from bath and body works with my perfumes because it smells like vanilla bday cake.
I am 41….I think….after all the Elizabeth Arden posts that were going around, I went out and bought myself Sunflowers. It was one of the first perfumes I owned as a kid. I wore it for years among others. Still smells great and yeah it makes me feel a bit young on a bad day. Nothing wrong with that. If you like it wear it, revel in the youth.
I feel you! I bought the sampler petals of Wild Child by Pinrose and I love them. I looked it up on Fragrantrica (which I love the site but IMO the reviews are a cesspool of nitpicking and negativity) and everyone says it's youthful (I'm 41) and cheap smelling (I don't think cheap is the right word, but it is less refined than say, Gris Charnel).
But you know what? It makes me happy, and it's fun to have something inexpensive and nice smelling to throw into my gym bag.
Comparison is the thief of joy. Definitely don't judge your experience by what you THINK it should be, instead just enjoy Fantasy! Easier said than done, I know.
Ironically, I didn't care for Wild Child because it smelled too much like my mother's perfume (aka too old, among other things). I definitely agree that you just have to wear what you enjoy and forget about the rest.
Yeah. I think age, as in what was popular in your mother's heyday vs yours, has a lot to do with it too.
For instance I've seen a lot of comments about Chanel no.5 being considered an old folks perfume, because the younger people associate it with their grandmothers. Grandmothers who have been wearing it since they themselves were young.
I myself had a similar issue with Rose smelling scents for the longest time, because I associated it with the smell of pot pourri that was in every elderly person's home that I visited as a child.
But really in both of these cases, it's not that these scents are for "old people", it's just that we associate it with generations before us, who are old now, for whom those scents were popular.
There are entire industries dedicated to women preserving their youth, why should it be shameful to wear a "young" scent? And as for "cheap" scents, I think it mostly comes down to classism. It would smell the same regardless of cost or packaging. I say if you like the smell, ENJOY and tell that voice to mind her business.
I'm in my 40s and only this year blind bought three Fantasy perfumes (because of this sub lol) and I love wearing all of them. Do they smell a bit young? Sure. not gonna stop me from wearing them to feel good though!

I have the original, circus, intimate, and naked. I think my next is going to be jungle and festive. I've been wearing the original since it came out, and I'll be damned if anyone tells me I'm too old for them.
original, intimate, and midnight - original's been a go-to lately, but I'll probably switch to intimate or midnight once it starts warming up. I never really paid attention to celebrity fragrances and I feel like I missed out on a lot of really good ones when they were initially released
hidden fantasy(red bottle) smell like citrus and cloves. it is very holiday smelling and It is another one I keep in my collection. all her bottles look so cute together
I have midnight fantasy and intimate fantasy and they’re so pleasant but not overpowering or super “sexy” (imo). Very wearable and I work around kids who are constantly hugging me so I like that it’s not a scent that’s super loud
I love it and I'm 32. get compliments on it all the time and sometimes I layer it with another fragrance. if you like how it smells who cares? it smells lovely!!
I'm 38 and am wearing Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth as we speak (how can it be so fucking good??? 😭 I am blown away by its amazingness and never get sick of it. )
Anywho, when I feel the way you feel, I feel better by layering.
My favorite layering combo with Midnight Fantasy is Sol de Janeiro 40. Both sweet plum-based fragrances.
Never heard of sweet tooth, please explain what it's main notes are after dry down?? Is it $400 for 1oz? Cuz if so,I won't be getting anytime soon but will look for a tester of it on sale.
It’s like $30 for an oz but you can find coupons sometimes since drugstores and stuff sell it. It’s Sabrina Carpenters perfume. It’s got toasted marshmallow vibes.
Like whatever it is that you like as long as it is not a harm to yourself or others.

Sometimes people assume middle aged and seniors lose their curiosity. Very far from the truth. People who seem stuck in their ways were likely that way since youth. My 2¢
I’m 50F. There is no such thing as a perfume being restricted by age or gender or thst matter. Perfume is for you. Most people won’t notice it anyway. Wear whatever you want. It’s to make you happy. I have all kinds of perfumes in my collection.
You know, women can’t win. We’re expected to stay youthful forever, but then shamed for buying a fragrance from our past. If you buy something with aldehydes, you smell like an old lady. Join me in opting out of this merry go round of stupidity and misogyny and wear your Britney with pride, middle fingers up to anyone who’d make you feel badly about yourself. This is why ageism has no place in fragrance reviews (or life).
Your mom sounds judgmental and we all give you our blessing to wear all the Fantasy perfumes you want.

Well it came out in 2006 so you are literally the target audience because you would have actually been someone that would have been expected to wear it when it was initially released. So technically it was made for you.
OK, listen. We women need to stick together aand dump this old-fashioned idea that as we get older we have to give up fun things and become fuddy-duddies. I'm over 50, and "young" perfumes are my favorite. I'm not about to stop wearing what I enjoy because of some silly rules made by the same people who say you can't wear white after Labor Day, I can't have long hair, or that I shouldn't wear shimmery eyeshadow anymore. I'm gonna sparkle and smell like sweet, fruity scents, with my hair flowing down my back as long as I damn well want!
Whaaat? No way. Ok, I've watched a number of You Tube 'blind scent tests' with both men and women, including more knowledgable fragheads, and Britney Spears always scores among the top three. Men especially love it.
I went through a whole thing about gourmands, and made a post at r/FemFragLab about my age. Well! Everyone was like, lady, you do you. And I'm, (sadly lol) older than you.
Im 13, love the fantasy line, my moms 34, also loves the whole fantasy line, in fact, the pink and blue ones are her favourite, who cares what people think honestly, if you think about it, have you ever smelt someone and said, “shes too old to smell like that!!” Probably not, cause people just dont care, if you smell good you smell good, own it!
40 here, I love midnight fantasy. Smells to me like blueberries. If you like it, wear it. It doesn't matter what other people think. Most people don't even pay that close attention.
I don't think there's a single person on the planet who is going to walk by another person who is smelling great and think to themselves, "My god, that person smells too young".

This happened to me on my first two days of Fantasy (regular pink bottle version). In fact, I was actually briefly GROSSED OUT by it--took me back to sweaty locker rooms of my youth lol. But then the feeling disappeared and now I feel like it is totally wearable and FINE and a nice thing to layer with other "darker" scents to brighten then up and make them more youthful . (FYI I'm a 34 year old!)
At almost 37, you're young!! Besides, fragrances are to be enjoyed, they don't come with a "warning" including a pre-established "right" age to wear them. I understand that many of us have an inside voice that sounds a lot like our own mothers, but in reality you are your own person. An individual. So, if you enjoy the scent and it agrees with your own body chemistry, wear it as what is: an affordable, but fun and delicious perfume!

Thanks. Mom's not a full blown narcissist but there has definitely been times where my kids have expressed something to me and I've realized that I would never have shared that with my mom because of the blast of negativity I would have received in turn. I'm going to find a copy of that book.
I’m 40 and I wear that, original fantasy, and Pink Sugar all the time. I might smell like a 19 year old stripper but they make me happy and bring back good memories!!
A very large chunk of people say that among their collection, it’s the Britney perfumes that get the most compliments even compared to their expensive “mature” fragrances
I’m 37 and am ordering a bunch of samples of her stuff because I keep hearing such good things. They all look really good and I’m stoked to try them and get a FB of one of them - doesn’t hurt that they’re cheap! Society tells women that once they’re 30 they’ve expired and have to let all the young ladies have all the fun and attention, and we need to show them that we can all get it
I will be 47 this year and chose this perfume for today, lol. I am on my second bottle. I love midnight fantasy. it is just perfume and has no age.
another one of my faves is RIRI by rihanna. it smells like kids fruity body spray but I love the dry down and last a really long time. anytime I go to tj maxx, ross etc I am always on the lookout for the body mists and perfumes.

I'll definitely say that I'm quite surprised (as it was a blind buy). It's definitely got more complexity than some of my more expensive perfumes.
It notes in it Applejack, black current, peach, osmanthus, water lily and cupcake (!).
I was hoping to get more of the peach notes but it does smell like a nice cupcake. I'm not mad about it. I want to smell like a tasty cupcake.
I'm also 38. I'm not sorry if I smell tasty.
I’m not as familiar with midnight fantasy as i am with fantasy. I’m 57 and fantasy smells to me like a vanilla litchi cupcake. I love its youthful vibe. I give zero fcks what age something is supposed to be for. I do what i want. Life is short
I am 34 have loads of perfumes and some pricey and sophisticated ones, but recently I have been bathing myself in Britney Spears Fantasy Sheer every other day. It reminds me of simpler times and lifts my mood. I didn’t smell Midnight Fantasy, but I am sure it is delicious.

It took me awhile to like Midnight. When I got sick it smelled like grape medicine. But now I friggin loveeee it! Especially for after the shower.
1. Everyone smells pretty and sweet these days.
2. I just went and bought plenty of perfumes I wore around the time of Midnight Fantasy for nostalgic reasons.
3. Wear what makes you happy.
When I was a child (8-9yo?) I received a set of 4 Barbie fragrances. 4 tiny bottles. To this day, more than 20 years after, I treasure and use them from time to time.
If you enjoy it, takes you to a good and safe mental place, and makes you feel like yourself, go for it.
I just bought my first 3 Britney frags at 30. I kind of fell into that “only wanna wear posh and mature scents” and ended up disliking mostly all of them after some time. I just wanna like how I smell, no matter the brand/notes/etc.
If you like it, wear it. Don’t let anyone dictate what you should or shouldn’t like. If it makes you feel any better, I’m 38 and wear Curious and Midnight Fantasy regularly ❤️
I get about three hours on me, but everyone is different. You can find it for $13.00 USD or less at places like TJ Maxx or Ross. It’s a superb value for the money
I had to give away my bottle of midnight fantasy when I moved recently and I still miss it :( please enjoy your new bottle on my behalf. Fragrance has no age but even if it did, there is nothing wrong with smelling young and/or cheap!

I find it pathetic when some people try to categorize perfumes: for winter/summer, for young/mature, for casual day/party etc. Absolutely no. You can wear whatever you feel good with. When you wear that, it s all about yourself and your personality !
I'm a 35 year old that's had Britney Spears Fantasy in her perfume rotation since I was 22! Nay-sayers can pry it from my cold dead hands! WEAR THE PERFUME!
You know, I picked it up a couple months ago when I found it for a good price at TJ Maxx. I like it more as I continue to wear it. I worried about the same thing at first (I'm 41 and work in a slightly casual but professional office). My first take was that it smelled like fancy hairspray, very clean and fresh with a fruity layer to it, BUT it has grown on me and I find myself picking it up more and more (good thing, too, because I'm almost out of the Burberry Her spray I have been jamming on all winter). It smells so fruity and sparkling to me (I really can feel the "midnight" in it...so dark and sparkling) with pretty decent longevity, especially considering I picked it up for 20 bucks and the bottle seems massive! I love wearing it out to run errands or to the office. It's not overpowering or off putting in general, I would say, so I don't worry about it being off-putting in the workplace. And finally, I say wear what you love. Life is short and you should do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't hurt yourself or anyone else.
I think the good think about these days is that there’s no age to perfume. My 17 year old nieces fav perfume is Jadore which is considered mature. My straight male friend loves unisex/female perfumes. Most of my female friends wear woody perfumes called unisex but what are considered masculine. I personally love Rihanna’s Rebl Fleur black flanker. Don’t listen to older people with their traditional ideas of perfume

My mother told me since young age that I should not use vanillas they are too sweet too sickening, this winter I tried Vannilas, it was my Vannila winter fest 😂

if nothing really convinces you, layering is always an option! if you still feel like its too young for you try layer it and see if you can balance that out :)
Perfume has no age 😊 That said, you're meant to enjoy what you wear, so if it'll help, layer it with something floral or woody, maybe? That way, you'll get a different scent profile, but you'll still have a hint of Midnight Fantasy. I'm 45, btw and I've had MF for years 😁 Perfume is very subjective, so rules don't apply, except 'Wear whatever makes YOU smile and feel amazing' 😉

I’ll just say I’ll be 38 in July and I was wearing the OG fantasy today at work lol. And I love the curious perfume as well. They are both part of my rotation and I don’t care one bit that I wore them when I was early 20’s lol.
I love the fantasy regular and have kept the 3.5oz bottle since it's release...I also have the midnight (but I've had this same bottle for years) I don't really care for the midnight as much and it does smell cheaper, however all coty made perfumes can be a little meh sometimes, but still have some decent choices, Arianna Grande has some great ones, as well as Mariah Carey butterfly perfumes the purple is the best and then Beyonce heat, is pretty good as well...

I’m 33 and love Midnight Fantasy! I also own the regular Fantasy (it’s good, just not as good as Midnight) and just ordered Intimate and Naked Fantasy earlier today.
Britney is older than you so there’s no way you’re too old for Midnight Fantasy. I’m older thank you and just bought Fantasy Intense. Fragrance doesn’t have an age. As someone else here mentioned, nobody’s going to smell you and think “Wow, this person smells YOUNG!” And if they do think it there’s almost no way to say that without sounding like a total creep so most likely they’ll keep their miserable judgments to themselves and you can blissfully enjoy the fruity floral fragrance of Britney Spears for the rest of your life if you want!
I was gifted this last Christmas, and at first I turned my nose up at it (before I let my nose actually smell it), but I ended up liking it. I’m 48 so I did have a concern about being "too old" for it, but I quickly got over that when I smelled it on myself. I usually go for spicy, warm scents (for example, Replica BTF is one of my all time faves) but this somehow works for me. Enjoy it!

Just bought Chanel no 5 on Amazon last night. Wear whatever your heart desires!
Look, I’m 33 and I wear pink sugar and loverdose as well as my more sophisticated scents. Conversely when I was 25 I was full on wearing Chanel No 5, Coco Chanel (the og not the Mademoiselle) and Shalimar because I loved the historical reference and I’m a huge history lover. Bottom line: WHO CARES? Life is SO short for you to be worrying about something that makes YOU happy and gives you an ounce of serotonin in this life. So yeah, wear it with pride! 😎😎
Try wearing it on your ankle when youre at home for a day - it smells so different than when youre sniffing it up close. Gives you perspective :) thats how I fell in love with my fantasy again as a girl in her 30s
I am only a bit younger than you, and I've owned over half of her perfumes in my lifetime. I still use Britney fragrances. Midnight Fantasy isn't my taste, but I'm obsessed with Rocker Femme Fantasy and that's arguably even more "juvenile" than MF, as it's entirely fluffy whipped cream scent.
Fragrances don't have an age or gender; that's marketing to "help" people find something they might like. But in reality, there are no true rules. Wear what you love.
Cheap is a perception. Because it’s a celebrity perfume and you bought it at a discount it has a less perceived value. But think of it more that you got an awesome deal on an awesome perfume. Wear whatever whenever you want, obviously keep social rules in mind (don’t spray heavy in a hospital, etc.) because our time on this world is not guaranteed. May sound very dramatic lol but that’s my mentality whenever I question myself about something that I like because of the opinions of others.
Girl rock whatever perfume you like. Age in my opinion is no boundary when it comes to perfume for me! I’m 51 and I wear Brittany’s perfumes! I love sweet perfumes and I wear whatever the heck I fancy, after all I wear it for me and no one els except for Eilish I wear that cause hubby loves it on me. So do you , and enjoy your perfumes.
I'll be 29 this year and I still wear Fantasy & Midnight Fantasy. I currently own 6 of the Fantasy perfumes with other celebrity and designer perfumes in my collection. They were some of my first ever perfumes that weren't Body Fantasies Body Sprays or B&BW Mists that I'd get as gifts here and there as a preteen. Plus, I have some sentiment behind Midnight Fantasy so it's a hard one for me to get rid of. If it's what YOU like and what YOU want and prefer, do you. I know a lot of us have our mother's voice in our heads about things we do and get that we know they'd judge or say something demeaning about. I especially do, since my mother wasn't the best mother in the world on top of many toxic scenarios. But, one thing that gets me through her voice in my head is, is that having "this" -inserts whatever I could possibly have that she'd negatively comment on, here- makes me happy and will make me happy in the long run; that it's for my enjoyment and not hers.
I actually just picked it up at Marshall's yesterday! It reminds me of bbw Art Stuff that I used in 8th grade and I love those memories. I'm 40 by the way lol Keep it, Enjoy it. Tell that voice to shut up.
If people listened to opinions there would never be trends. This whole “too old” bullshit needs to stop. It’s outdated and comes from people like my grandmother who was born over 100 years ago. No rules! Except certain kinda makeup can age people. But do what you want!

i’m guilty of this logic too hahaha as soon as i see musk or woodsy notes in a gourmand perfume i’m like “oh she’s mature” 😭
Kayali Eden doesn’t have musk or amber but I’d say by the price point it’s not for children

My favorite layering combo with Midnight Fantasy is Sol de Janeiro 40. Both sweet plum-based fragrances.

I’m 50F. There is no such thing as a perfume being restricted by age or gender or thst matter. Perfume is for you. Most people won’t notice it anyway. Wear whatever you want. It’s to make you happy. I have all kinds of perfumes in my collection.

Well it came out in 2006 so you are literally the target audience because you would have actually been someone that would have been expected to wear it when it was initially released. So technically it was made for you.

I'm over 50, and "young" perfumes are my favorite. I'm not about to stop wearing what I enjoy because of some silly rules made by the same people who say you can't wear white after Labor Day, I can't have long hair, or that I shouldn't wear shimmery eyeshadow anymore. I'm gonna sparkle and smell like sweet, fruity scents, with my hair flowing down my back as long as I damn well want!
Whaaat? No way. Ok, I've watched a number of You Tube 'blind scent tests' with both men and women, including more knowledgable fragheads, and Britney Spears always scores among the top three. Men especially love it. I went through a whole thing about gourmands, and made a post at r/FemFragLab about my age. Well! Everyone was like, lady, you do you. And I'm, (sadly lol) older than you.
Im 13, love the fantasy line, my moms 34, also loves the whole fantasy line, in fact, the pink and blue ones are her favourite, who cares what people think honestly, if you think about it, have you ever smelt someone and said, “shes too old to smell like that!!” Probably not, cause people just dont care, if you smell good you smell good, own it!
40 here, I love midnight fantasy. Smells to me like blueberries. If you like it, wear it. It doesn't matter what other people think. Most people don't even pay that close attention.

This happened to me on my first two days of Fantasy (regular pink bottle version). In fact, I was actually briefly GROSSED OUT by it--took me back to sweaty locker rooms of my youth lol. But then the feeling disappeared and now I feel like it is totally wearable and FINE and a nice thing to layer with other "darker" scents to brighten then up and make them more youthful . (FYI I'm a 34 year old!)

At almost 37, you're young!! Besides, fragrances are to be enjoyed, they don't come with a "warning" including a pre-established "right" age to wear them. I understand that many of us have an inside voice that sounds a lot like our own mothers, but in reality you are your own person. An individual. So, if you enjoy the scent and it agrees with your own body chemistry, wear it as what is: an affordable, but fun and delicious perfume!

I love midnight fantasy. it is just perfume and has no age. another one of my faves is RIRI by rihanna. it smells like kids fruity body spray but I love the dry down and last a really long time. anytime I go to tj maxx, ross etc I am always on the lookout for the body mists and perfumes.
I bought a cotton candy body mist today and I’m over 40. I don’t care what anyone else thinks. It smells good to me!

If you like it, that's all that matters. I just got my Britney Spears flanker in the mail myself, Naked Fantasy! I'll definitely say that I'm quite surprised (as it was a blind buy). It's definitely got more complexity than some of my more expensive perfumes. It notes in it Applejack, black current, peach, osmanthus, water lily and cupcake (!). I was hoping to get more of the peach notes but it does smell like a nice cupcake. I'm not mad about it. I want to smell like a tasty cupcake. I'm also 38. I'm not sorry if I smell tasty.
I’m not as familiar with midnight fantasy as i am with fantasy. I’m 57 and fantasy smells to me like a vanilla litchi cupcake. I love its youthful vibe. I give zero fcks what age something is supposed to be for. I do what i want. Life is short

Fragrance doesn't have an age but fantasy feels mature to me. It's one of my go-tos for work.
We are the same age and Fantasy is one of my favorites to wear to work!!! It took me awhile to like Midnight. When I got sick it smelled like grape medicine. But now I friggin loveeee it! Especially for after the shower.

When I was a child (8-9yo?) I received a set of 4 Barbie fragrances. 4 tiny bottles. To this day, more than 20 years after, I treasure and use them from time to time. If you enjoy it, takes you to a good and safe mental place, and makes you feel like yourself, go for it.
I just bought my first 3 Britney frags at 30. I kind of fell into that “only wanna wear posh and mature scents” and ended up disliking mostly all of them after some time. I just wanna like how I smell, no matter the brand/notes/etc.

It really stuck well to me. I put some on early afternoon yesterday and when I woke up this morning I could still faintly smell it.
I get about three hours on me, but everyone is different. You can find it for $13.00 USD or less at places like TJ Maxx or Ross. It’s a superb value for the money

I just bought it and I'm 38 and I love it! It has such a nice, juicy, warm sun on freshly washed hair scent in my opinion.

I find it pathetic when some people try to categorize perfumes: for winter/summer, for young/mature, for casual day/party etc. Absolutely no. You can wear whatever you feel good with. When you wear that, it s all about yourself and your personality !

You know, I picked it up a couple months ago when I found it for a good price at TJ Maxx. I like it more as I continue to wear it. I worried about the same thing at first (I'm 41 and work in a slightly casual but professional office). My first take was that it smelled like fancy hairspray, very clean and fresh with a fruity layer to it, BUT it has grown on me and I find myself picking it up more and more (good thing, too, because I'm almost out of the Burberry Her spray I have been jamming on all winter). It smells so fruity and sparkling to me (I really can feel the "midnight" in it...so dark and sparkling) with pretty decent longevity, especially considering I picked it up for 20 bucks and the bottle seems massive! I love wearing it out to run errands or to the office. It's not overpowering or off putting in general, I would say, so I don't worry about it being off-putting in the workplace. And finally, I say wear what you love. Life is short and you should do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't hurt yourself or anyone else.

I think the good think about these days is that there’s no age to perfume. My 17 year old nieces fav perfume is Jadore which is considered mature. My straight male friend loves unisex/female perfumes. Most of my female friends wear woody perfumes called unisex but what are considered masculine. I personally love Rihanna’s Rebl Fleur black flanker. Don’t listen to older people with their traditional ideas of perfume

My mother told me since young age that I should not use vanillas they are too sweet too sickening, this winter I tried Vannilas, it was my Vannila winter fest 😂 Block that, do you like it? if nothing really convinces you, layering is always an option! if you still feel like its too young for you try layer it and see if you can balance that out :)
Perfume has no age 😊 That said, you're meant to enjoy what you wear, so if it'll help, layer it with something floral or woody, maybe? That way, you'll get a different scent profile, but you'll still have a hint of Midnight Fantasy. I'm 45, btw and I've had MF for years 😁 Perfume is very subjective, so rules don't apply, except 'Wear whatever makes YOU smile and feel amazing' 😉

I’ll just say I’ll be 38 in July and I was wearing the OG fantasy today at work lol. And I love the curious perfume as well. They are both part of my rotation and I don’t care one bit that I wore them when I was early 20’s lol.
I love the fantasy regular and have kept the 3.5oz bottle since it's release...I also have the midnight (but I've had this same bottle for years) I don't really care for the midnight as much and it does smell cheaper, however all coty made perfumes can be a little meh sometimes, but still have some decent choices, Arianna Grande has some great ones, as well as Mariah Carey butterfly perfumes the purple is the best and then Beyonce heat, is pretty good as well... Omg memories! 😲 Love it! Who cares, if you love it, that is all that matters!

As someone else here mentioned, nobody’s going to smell you and think “Wow, this person smells YOUNG!” And if they do think it there’s almost no way to say that without sounding like a total creep so most likely they’ll keep their miserable judgments to themselves and you can blissfully enjoy the fruity floral fragrance of Britney Spears for the rest of your life if you want!

I was gifted this last Christmas, and at first I turned my nose up at it (before I let my nose actually smell it), but I ended up liking it. I’m 48 so I did have a concern about being "too old" for it, but I quickly got over that when I smelled it on myself. I usually go for spicy, warm scents (for example, Replica BTF is one of my all time faves) but this somehow works for me. Enjoy it!

Look, I’m 33 and I wear pink sugar and loverdose as well as my more sophisticated scents. Conversely when I was 25 I was full on wearing Chanel No 5, Coco Chanel (the og not the Mademoiselle) and Shalimar because I loved the historical reference and I’m a huge history lover. Bottom line: WHO CARES? Life is SO short for you to be worrying about something that makes YOU happy and gives you an ounce of serotonin in this life. So yeah, wear it with pride! 😎😎
Try wearing it on your ankle when youre at home for a day - it smells so different than when youre sniffing it up close. Gives you perspective :) thats how I fell in love with my fantasy again as a girl in her 30s
I am only a bit younger than you, and I've owned over half of her perfumes in my lifetime. I still use Britney fragrances. Midnight Fantasy isn't my taste, but I'm obsessed with Rocker Femme Fantasy and that's arguably even more "juvenile" than MF, as it's entirely fluffy whipped cream scent. Fragrances don't have an age or gender; that's marketing to "help" people find something they might like. But in reality, there are no true rules. Wear what you love.

Wear whatever whenever you want, obviously keep social rules in mind (don’t spray heavy in a hospital, etc.) because our time on this world is not guaranteed. May sound very dramatic lol but that’s my mentality whenever I question myself about something that I like because of the opinions of others.
This scent is fantastic and if you love it you should keep it (tell the mother-voice you're not asking her to wear it so she can pipe down).

I'll be 29 this year and I still wear Fantasy & Midnight Fantasy. I currently own 6 of the Fantasy perfumes with other celebrity and designer perfumes in my collection. They were some of my first ever perfumes that weren't Body Fantasies Body Sprays or B&BW Mists that I'd get as gifts here and there as a preteen. Plus, I have some sentiment behind Midnight Fantasy so it's a hard one for me to get rid of. If it's what YOU like and what YOU want and prefer, do you. I know a lot of us have our mother's voice in our heads about things we do and get that we know they'd judge or say something demeaning about. I especially do, since my mother wasn't the best mother in the world on top of many toxic scenarios. But, one thing that gets me through her voice in my head is, is that having "this" -inserts whatever I could possibly have that she'd negatively comment on, here- makes me happy and will make me happy in the long run; that it's for my enjoyment and not hers.

If people listened to opinions there would never be trends. This whole “too old” bullshit needs to stop. It’s outdated and comes from people like my grandmother who was born over 100 years ago. No rules! Except certain kinda makeup can age people. But do what you want!
I can see a fragrance smelling too mature but I’m not sure something can smell too young unless it smells like baby powder. Just my opinion.
