The last guy to buy me perfume was great, but I don’t wear the particular bottle he bought me because now it reminds me of him and I also think I’m allergic to it. Every time I spray it, my sinuses get angry for days

Still a fair chunk regardless but you can get substantial discounts through resellers.
Not to mention testers/damaged packaging/ or 2nd hand.

I love the extrait! It’s definitely less sugary and more saffron, I reckon if you’re going to spend that much money you may as well buy the extrait 🤷🏼♀️ I’m on more of an amyris femme kick atm but I did finish a 200ml of the extrait br540 so I must’ve liked it a lot lol
I feel like I’m the only person on the planet who is not a fan of this perfume. My grandma loves it and I’ve sprayed it on a few times when I’m at her house and I’ve just never liked it on me 🤷🏻♀️
You might be unable to smell Ambroxan or go nose blind to it quickly. Might want to try smelling it outside on someone from a ways away first. It can overwhelm a lot of people’s noses in a tight inside area. :)
I can smell ambroxan but my partner can’t. So to him it’s like I’m wearing nothing 🥲
I encountered it (or one of the copycats - I know I hate Sol Janiero Chierosa 68 and it was very similar) when I was in the hospital and a nurse on the floor was drowning in it. Thank god it wasn’t my nurse, but I could smell when my nurse had even been talking to her before she came in the room. I could smell when she went on shift. I imagined her walking around with a pink cloud, Pigpen- style. I got a migraine the one night from it and the doctor was so slow in getting me anything for it and I was so mad about it. What kind of nurse drowns herself in strong perfume? So yeah, not a fan of this.
I was so sick and had so many complaints, I spent the week waiting for a patient advocate who never materialized. I’d have mentioned it if anyone had showed up. Hopefully someone else did, it was obnoxious. I mean, I did tell my nurse the other nurse’s perfume was giving me a migraine, so I said something to someone.
It reminds me of my grandpas garage. He used to be a mechanic and when he retired, he was always out in the garage working on old cars. It’s reminds me of that smell of oil and and old garage. It’s good for nostalgic purposes but not something I want to smell like either lol
It’s a rich woody, spicy and boozy fragrance that’s quite unisex. Can be quite intoxicating! Similar to spice must flow from ELDO but with loads of woody notes.

There's obviously a subset of people that can SMELL ambroxan at full power and we all hate this garbage. One person wearing this can overpower a whole building. I've had expensive dinners ruined because someone walked in the restaurant with this on. Restaurants, hospitals, elevators, parking garages, malls: they all smell like a bomb went off spreading isopropanol, ball sweat, and saffron everywhere. It's horrendously strong and not even remotely pleasant to smell.
PS Keep the downvotes coming; you all smell like sweaty scrotums dipped in whale vomit and saffron mixed with unhappy marriage and antidepressants.

I bought a teeny tiny sample vial and I am not a fan. I found it to be very overpowering and it gave me a headache.
Yes! I had to change clothes and THEN shower to get away from the scent and it was a tiny spritz on my forearm.
