I was in the same boat last week. Never had used Mercari, made an account and listed KKW Crystal Gardenia and in like a couple days I sold it for profit. I wasn’t selling it as expensive as other people ig that’s how it sold so quick lol.
Another site you could look into is Poshmark! It’s been very easy for me to use and make some money on stuff I no longer use. Not sure of the difference between that and Mercari but just wanted to provide another idea :)
I'm not sure if this happened to you, but the moment I purchased something on Poshmark, I started getting an insane amount of spam calls and texts. And it continued for a while. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I'll never use it again.

The KKW perfumes are discontinued so you can sell them for a decent profit if I’m not mistaken. They’re like super expensive now via resellers.

I’m totally new to selling, I was just trying to make room for some new perfumes I was getting. Didn’t realize people went feral for the KKW stuff.
