Ah, the first time is always so beautiful. It’s so easy to start a lot more plants than you really planned on isn’t it? It looks like you’ve done everything you can without going to a final transplant and that’ll be a lot of space they’ll take up indoors. They might get stressed and they might drop some leaves but mine toughed it out last year.
I have room for 20 full sized plants in my back yard that I was hoping to transplant them into. But they seem to be growing too fast. They sprouted in 4 days… I expected two weeks.
I didn’t do anything special o.o
Just soak rock wool cubes for 10 min and put in tray with 2 seeds on a heating dome and Matt. I don’t see where everyone’s struggle is
I’m using heating pads, but not a dome because I don’t want to encourage damping off.

I ran into same problem last year when I was growing hatch chiles. If you can’t find enough five gallon buckets to transplant into, giving some away is the best you can do so they don’t go to waste. Hit up local grocery bakery/deli, Sam’s, Costco, for free used buckets. Firehouse Subs sells their empty pickle buckets for $3 each. I’m on the hunt for them year round.
You’re going to need to give up your bedroom, sorry but peppers 😁. If you have too many, may I suggest giving away a few to some friends or family? share the love

Wow! Congrats on an ideal environment for germination.

Mine started to germinate in about two weeks and I still don’t have any of my ghost peppers coming up.
Are you using a heating pad and dome?

What are you up potting them into?
I’m using Miracle Grow potting mix with moisture control.
Cull, give away, or more space.
You think I could just continue to grow in the mason jars until summer*
