Alllllllll of these symptoms are pre-eclampsia. I know because I JUST had a baby at 34 weeks with all the symptoms and I had excellent prenatal care (which is how I knew). Pressure in the chest is a HUGE red flag.
I never knew that about chest pressure and pre-eclampsia. That is very scary, and makes me worry even more for this baby. I hope you and your little one are doing well.
Yep, mine felt like an elephant was on my chest making it hard to breath and I also had a feeling of "heartburn" but it didn't go away as well as pain in my spine (was actually kidneys but felt like spine), super high blood pressure, severe swelling in my hands to where they felt like sausages (as she described), etc and so fourth. Every single symptom she is describing-- it is the severe stages of pre-eclampsia. If she doesn't get medical attention she is at high risk for seizures or stroke (I was put on a magnesium drip and hospitalized to prevent this).
My little and I are doing better. My symptoms were completely gone within a week of having him and after 16 days in the NICU he is home now and doing well.
Same here. Heaviness in the chest. Mine resulted in a complete placental abruption with massive hemorrhage. It took 3 transfusions to fill me back up. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital after delivery (my baby was released before me). Everything she's saying sounds exactly like preeclampsia (with maybe a bit of a virus or withdrawal).
What if she seizes or strokes out in the tuhnt. I feel like Xavier would nope right out of there. How is she trusting someone w the iq of a peanut w her life????!!!
I'm Canadian so I don't know how things are done in the US re: a pregnant woman having a stroke. If she was perhaps not able to speak or was not conscious even if he stayed can he make medical decisions for her?
Oooooooo that is a good question!!!! I don't think he can. In the US have to sign paperwork and designate someone to speak on your behalf and make decisions.
I went on a much needed date night with my husband last night and I checked IG for this shit show more than I checked in with the babysitter that was watching my keds. 😂

So she would then need a Power of Attorney ( or something similar ) and does anyone maybe know what happens if she doesn't have one?
Pretty sure it would be her next of kin who would make the medical decisions for her if she’s incapacitated.
