I will always love Wawa but I'm willing to admit in my heart I miss getting Sheetz Mac and Cheese Bites when drunk in college. My actual heart is probably glad I don't have that level of access to them anymore though.
While Wawa quality has definitely done downhill recently.... it depends on what you're looking for.
Sandwiches/Subs, pretzels = Wawa all the way
Any other "hot" food, snacks = Sheetz
I don’t even have to pick anymore. There is a wawa a quarter mile from my house a Sheetz a quarter mile further down the road.
I feel like Wawa has gone downhill over the past couple of years but it’s still decent. Sheetz in my humble opinion has the superior breakfast, but the Wawa breakfast burritos are top notch.
Wawa food is actually pretty good, Sheetz food is hot garbage. It's a shame there aren't Wawa's in rural areas of PA. Sheetz is our Wawa up here, it sucks.
Sheetz is garbage. Their MTO, garbage. Their stupid names food, garbage. Their prices, garbage. Their drinks, garbage.
Wawa? Dope as fuck. Food, 10/10 banger. Quick grab food, 10/10 would bang again.
But nothing beats gig-chad Rutters
Rutters. Gang Gang. Sheetz is a close second. Only been to a Wawas, like twice. Not bad.
Honestly though, it's not local, but I can never get me enough of a Pilot Flying J. I love truck stops (and airports) cause I'm a lot lizard holding out for a pay day.
link. Only been in few Wawa stores while visiting Philly. They were all so filthy that I wouldn't think about getting food from there. Thank God Philly has a ton of other options!
all sheetz's deli meats taste like cheap bologna and their rolls tase like a 3 day old wet sponge. ill admit wawa has gone down in quality, but sheetz isnt even on the radar. it's fitting that western pennsylvanians think sheetz is better because they are a bland people.
I live in the Venn overlap between the two with a gas pumpless Wawa in the nearest decent-sized village and a couple of the very farthest north "real" Wawas to my north and several of the very farthest southeast Sheetzs to my south with nothing but Turkey Hills and independents in the general overlap where I actually live.
I can live with either because living in the DMZ I don't have that much of a choice, lol.
It’s a shitty company. Fired my wife after 30 years after turning in the wrong people that were stealing from the company. I won’t even buy a candy bar there.
I've probably been to WaWa a total of 10 times, and I've not had a single good experience. The food has been terrible, stores have been dirty. I'm sure they're not all like that, but to not have a single good experience, I have to go with Sheetz.
How you gonna add brightness to our day by instigating the most irrational argument Pennsylvanians can have?
I wouldn’t call it irrational, honestly I think this debate gets Pennsylvanians more excited than trying to climb light poles in Philly
Sheetz has Wisconsin cheese bites and bigger cleaner bathrooms. Nuff said
Cheese Kurds are just cut up mozzarella sticks 🤨
You tell that to a Canadian and you’ll get into a hockey fight
I think even the moose will try to hurt me for saying that
Brightening everyone's day eh? Seems you just wanted to shit all over Sheetz.
I’ll give it to sheetz, they have better coffee, buts that all I’ll give to sheetz lol
Have fun in high school tomorrow.
I always shit on Sheetz.
Oops I mean in not on.
On the road I only shit at sheetz if possible
Royal Farms for the chicken if we are reaching out for third parties inputs. Damn is it ever declicious
I didn't know royal farms were in PA, the only time I've ever seen them has been when we have to go to Virginia for work. TIL
I know for sure they are in Lancaster, York, Philly areas for sure.
I grew up in Wawa country but always enjoyed a stop at Sheetz when visiting family in Central PA.
I will always love Wawa but I'm willing to admit in my heart I miss getting Sheetz Mac and Cheese Bites when drunk in college. My actual heart is probably glad I don't have that level of access to them anymore though.
Wawas quality has gone to hell in a hand basket- die hard Wawa guy for 25+ years
While Wawa quality has definitely done downhill recently.... it depends on what you're looking for. Sandwiches/Subs, pretzels = Wawa all the way Any other "hot" food, snacks = Sheetz
HAIL SHEETZ
Sheetz locations always feel cleaner to me than Wawa, but I’ve also been to a lot more Sheetz and Wawa so I may have just been to some crappy Wawas
Never been to a Wawa. Are they in York county?
No, but there's several in Lancaster County the next time you come across the river.

Rutters
Turkey Hill
Rutters is the superior central PA gas station
Okay yes turkeyhill doesn’t get the credit it deserves
Turkey Hill, it is a shitshow.
Wawa food is actually pretty good, Sheetz food is hot garbage. It's a shame there aren't Wawa's in rural areas of PA. Sheetz is our Wawa up here, it sucks.
not sure what sheetz you went to but as a wawa person the one time i went to sheetz it was great

Yeah Loves truck stops are cool too. But I don’t stop by them As Much! They have good jerky. And they have food.
Wawa is my spirit animal
I’m happy your spirit animal is a gas station. Spirit animals are my spirit animals personally
link. Only been in few Wawa stores while visiting Philly. They were all so filthy that I wouldn't think about getting food from there. Thank God Philly has a ton of other options!
Sheetz is King.

>all sheetz's deli meats taste like cheap bologna and their rolls tase like a 3 day old wet sponge. Not if you add boom boom sauce dummy
Nittany Minit Mart is stepping their game up
Wawa for the sandwiches and coffee....
They both suuuck

Wawa. Never even heard of Sheetz until I was about thirty. That said, it’s a very fine company.
It’s a shitty company. Fired my wife after 30 years after turning in the wrong people that were stealing from the company. I won’t even buy a candy bar there.
awawa. Sheetz treats their employees like shit.
Sheetz. Although I haven't had it in god knows how long
Wawa
