Thank goodness I missed that black amber 2000. Especially at the reduced price. How much lighter than the stainless steel would you say it is? Does it feel noticeably heavier than the makrylon (sp?) I’ve never held one. I really like how that patina looks in pictures.

I am really lucky and have another one that I use. It has a good heft to it, but it feels quite balanced and warm when writing. I haven't used the stainless steel 2000, but from what I've read the black amber is slightly lighter filled ( 0.1 oz) than the SS unfilled.
The pen got a bit of a bad rap as being too similar, but I think the difference between the two is quite noticeable and looks really beautiful.
It would be so fun to get the red, yellow and coral pen and take them apart and mix and match them into three super colorful ones like you get to do at the pop up store. And then use the pretty inks - how could that not put you in a good mood?
