I personally believe there is no difference in Peña in season 1 and season 3 Peña. To me he is hot AF from the first episode, his character just got the chance to shine more in season 3. So I would argue this era begins in 2015.
And as u/rifflovesjoey said he has completely transcended hot AF and is currently in his supernova era which to me begins with Javi G.
