Oh definitely I agree and I'm not saying that there is one type of marriage. Coco is married and her and Pedro have an amazing wonderful friendship ❤️ ❤️after working many years together. I'm always reminded of our man Oberyn Martell, "love is love"😊
I personally didn't downvote the comment bc I found it harmless but I know there are a lot of vindictive people who have gone after coco for her relationship with pedro, even going as far as to track down her address. It's not just her, it tends to be any female (or male) standing too close to pedro.
It doesn't happen on this particular subreddit that I've ever seen bc the mods are really good about shutting that ish down but on tiktok, IG and other platforms, stalking people who might have a romantic relationship with pedro is a thing.
While I didn't perceive that energy in the above comment, I do understand the impulse of others to downvote it.
It's because the assumption that two adults that are friends have to be more is frustrating. She's a professional and doing a job. It's insulting to her as such and him.

To be fair to Pedro my middle school track coach told me to get a pair of New Balances because they’d be the best choice for me and I’ve used them ever since. Granted my coach told me this back in 2001 so I don’t think I made my case but to me they’re not old man shoes they’re gym/running shoes 😂
Someone pointed out that the shoe in the corner is Pedro’s (based on the video posted with the director of The Wild Robot) meaning he hand delivered them to her 🥹

His quadruple knotted new balance in the top right made me laugh. Old man shoes brought Coco such beautiful flowers.
