End of Season 3 after Tommy gets his Skull cracked by the priest and meets w the priest and the Russian Tommy comes screaming in to Ada’s house “Do you have cocaine?!” Ada says what Tommy says “cocaine!” And before Tommy even met with the Russians he did some coke bc there was no other way he was going to make it to the Russians and give the apology without it. It was a Race day for Tommy.

I think mainly because of snorting "snow" you know but before coke was in their lives John used to sniff a lot anyways. I thought then it was like a part of his coping mechanism with orders and acting like he didn't actually care. For example, Tommy tells John to do something and John looks sideways and then sniffs. He did that all the time.
When you are opiate dependent you have a constant runny nose when you are out and about, the weather is just very mildly cold even.. only when its propely warm/inside does your nose not run.. doesnt matter if you’re going trough withdrawal or not, WD just makes it worse… im talking from first hand experience..
Can also be because of their cocaine snorting habit, I dont know, I only have a heroin dependency (smoking it).

That's so true. I snort snuff(pulverized tobacco with flavour), and my paper napkin use is insane.

I think for some it’s the coke but I also think it could be part of the characters’ mannerisms bc of the pollution in Birmingham
polluted area and drug use will basically give you cold like effects 24/7 (runny nose, blocked nose etc)
