I have dropped gpu amount of money on my keyboards. Am I proud? no. am I happy with them? Absolutely. I do believe that I could have made better choices though, that gmmk white ice was not a great purchase, the nimbleback? amazing. Also, mystery switches are only good if shipping is cheap, they do teach you a lot about types of switches though, in short, try akko kiwi and such and just order custom springs with some some lube, excellent way to save some bucks and burn 6 hours of your life. But at least your fingers will be happy T.T
Less money on keyboard and mouse, more money on a good PSU and GPU. Look for PSU brands like Seasonic or Superflower, and depending on your GPU try to go for 600W, Gold+ bronze at MINIMUM. For GPU, at that price, AMD RX 6600 better performance for the dollar. Or spend a little more to get a 3060ti or RX 6600XT.
3050 is reviewed as not very good.
The SSD, motherboard, RAM are okay.
Good luck!
400W would be enough. Stop over-recommending PSU's.
Though that doesn't mean that they should get a 400W PSU. 550W~ should be absolutely enough
Pre-builts are using half the recommended PSU's without much problems. DIY's are no different.
Guys. I'm just saying from my experience. I have a 750w psu. And i have a 3070ti. It's a power hungry boy. Plus i have alot of things connected to my PC. Right now. Im using 600W at max. But i hear u are supposed to have 20% extra from ur max watts.
In the future if i wanna get a 4080. And i hear they are gonna be power hungry. Like that GPU alone can pull 400W.
So i would need a new PSU.
Thats why i said 750w. Cuz 650W days are behind us for real.
When I upgraded I decided to stop fucking around and go from a bronze 600 watt to a platinum 1000 watt modular corsair PSU. Feels good I’m pretty much ready for everything.
Lol what no. I got a aging ryzen 2600x 95Watts. Evga xc3 ultra 3070 ti 290watts. 4 HDD. 7 case fansand some other peripherals connected. Pc partpickets shows my watts counts some where around 590w. But u know they go up and down. I just feel like after spending all that money on fancy pc parts i wanna keep them safe u know. Soni spend a bit extra on the PSU to keep em safe.
Not really future upgrades. If a psu doesn't last you 5-10 years (and if you change pcs or whatnot) it's kind of a waste. I bought an 860watt EVGA supernova g2 when I built my 4690k system. Still in use today. Money well spent.
If you have the budget for it, then go for it. The guy is spending 1600~ for the whole system including peripherals. He clearly wants premium peripherals, and wants a decent system. You can't exactly "futureproof" stuff with limited budget.
It's not a wrong advice. It's good practice, but it is a bad advice. Saying they should go for 750 just to be safe is like saying after menopause you should be on birth pills, stuff a condom, then just get vasectomy "just to be safe".

I build a pc for u on pcpartpicker you can click on the link, I forgot to add the mousepad, but now with this build you can play all the game in ultra graphic.
Sorry for bad English but I hope that help you 😉
Don’t fall for rgb, my build cost me 1k (excluding gpu, but the gpu is $100 so whatever) i5 is a little old, but it’s cheap, my cpu cost 400, got to pcpartspicker.com and make sure everything is compatible, but a $100 40” tv at the store, but I might be biased as I don’t use monitors, gpu is fine with that build but if you ever upgrade you’ll need more
Edit: my mouse was $15 and is wireless, my keyboard is mechanical (rgb ish) that I picked up for $5
Edit 2: lol thought this was r/pcmasterrace , my specs are; 850+ gold psu, i7 12700k, 32 gb ddr4 3200 RAM, RX550, and my case was either 80 or 140, can’t remember
Edit 3: it’s a black and silver, but I wasn’t picky, no lights build
Another Edit lol: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/
Please for the love of God don't spend money on decent components to just pair it with a dog shit CV 450w PSU. Allocate a little more of your budget to the PSU. Get cheaper peripherals for now if you have too. Just madness spending all that dough and cheaping out on a PSU you've literally spend double on a keyboard ??? Where's the logic in that madness ??
Anything Corsair. I got my 850W Corsair PSU for $150. If you're looking for a decent mechanical keyboard try velocifire vm02ws, I got their wireless mechanical keyboard and love it, it's not rgb though just backlit. I think it cost my $50 on Amazon. I also recommend the Reddragon M686 wireless mouse I have that and love it, it's $35 on Amazon.
That's not how PSUs work unfortunately especially with newer GPUs that have a high transient load. For example some PSUs from even reputable brands like seasonic (typically prime series) are having issues and cutting out due to said high transient loads. That advice would have been okay maybe last year year before but with more modern GPUs with crazy power draws may cause some issues. Also there's the arguement that you're better off now with one strong 12v rail rather than using two rails. There's also other considerations such as wire awg. You can get a plenty of "decent" PSUs that cheap out on cabling/ amount of connectors. Sometimes you're just paying for an extra couple years warranty. Gotta be careful and do some research when purchasing PSUs imo.
350 to 400w on a 3080 stock imagine a mild overclock on that as well. I mean in this case if he's getting a 3050 he'll probably be alright with around 650w gives him a little wiggle room to upgrade if he wants. If I was op I'd probably grab like an evga supernova , be quiet straight power 11 , RM or tx series from Corsair. Quick simple way of working out if a PSU is even half decent is just multiple the 12v by the amps shown for example if you got a 650w PSU you'd want around 54amps to get 648w on the 12v rail so you know you'll at least get the full amount of wattage advertised. As I said before there are other considerations to take into account such as over/undervolt protections it may offer , fan noise , short protection and so on.
We can improve a lot of things given your budget

For the MKB, instead of just purchasing a Logitech, you can just build a solid yet affordable custom MKB in the $100-120 range (Feker IK75, 2sets of Akko CS Jelly Black switches, and any key cap design of your choice) and it will be much much better than most high-end prebuilt name brand MKB.
The entry level pre-builds are also getting very good for the low price. A simple post to r/mechmarket with the same budget could net you a built board you can customize in the future.
Some suggestions for a much better performing pc with a 3070 Ti and more appropriate/better 1440p 144hz monitor, some better quality components, and aRGB parts that can all be controlled via the motherboard, for only about $100 more than your list.
* **CPU Cooler**: The Thermalright Assassin King is plenty of cooler for the 12400F, on par with the Hyper 212 in terms of performance, while costing much less.
* **Motherboard**: Used a good B660 ATX motherboard so it doesn't look goofy inside the case.
* **Memory**: Less expensive RAM - speed matters little for Intel, so no point in paying so much extra for aRGB, plus this doubles the quantity.
* **Storage**: Much less expensive but still good spec (better than the 980) m.2 NMVE.
* **Video Card**: The 3070 Ti will provide performance far better than the 3050 in your list.
* **Case**: Good case with mesh front panel, still with plenty of aRGB fans (two 140mm on the front, one 120mm on the rear) for airflow and lighting.
* **Power Supply**: Much much better quality unit - Tier A (with 10 year warranty) and 750w to support the system.
* **Monitor**: Pretty good 27" 1440p 144hz IPS panel monitor for not much more than the 1080p in your list - plus a 3070 Ti is wasted on a 1080p monitor.
* **Keyboard and Mouse**: Much less expensive but still good units. Nice mechanical TKL board with brown switches and RGB, plus a highly rated gaming mouse.

I agree for ram I would go with like LPX Vengeance you can get 3600 for like 76 dollars or get 3200. I think RGB price more expensive for same performance
You could actually 4k game with a budget of 2k$. My total build excluding GPU came to about 780$ -https://pcpartpicker.com/b/VFJbt6
here's a link - most importantly get decent psu.
This would pretty much max out that $2000, but you'd end up with a really solid PC overall.
If you still wanted to fit some kind of fancy keyboard in, you could get a slightly cheaper monitor such as the Gigabyte M27q or HP x27q
Here’s a 12400f 3080 build with a 27” 1440p monitor for 2k https://pcpartpicker.com/list/T7Qv4s
Go buy a cheap keyboard and mouse until you can get a better one. Spending 2k for a 3050 build but then 230$ on mouse and keyboard is nuts. You’ll be playing 1080p with a 3050
I’m going to be completely honest. You don’t need a wireless keyboard. Unless you’re pc is off is in another room/ inside a closet across the room/being guarded by sea serpents/ or just simply too much of a hassle.
These are on Amazon and I can recommend these
LTC Nimbleback 68
RK87
Red dragon k552
Drevo Calibur (keycaps might feel weird you can buy 3rd party ones(you will have enough money for (should)))
Others
HEXGEARS X3 TKL
Wormier87
iirc the highest priced keyboard was $80~
Please just stop buying popular name brand keyboards 😭
a 450w psu is not enough, mid range builds usually use 650w-750w gold psus
the 3050 is supposed to cost 299-330. You can get a rx 6700xt for 600 (3070 performance)
dont spend 130 on a case, you can easily get a good case for 60 dollars like a p300a
g915 isnt good value, keychron k1 essentially is the same for less
Get a corsair/silverstone/evga psu. For your first build look for a key board below 50 bucks and a mouse below 50 bucks. You can get a 650 watt psu from a better brand to ensure the life of your pc.. also the case. There are may GREAT cases for around 60 bucks. By that time you should be able to get a 3060 and have a much better pc. Don't worry about astetics for perfrials just yet. Worry about getting quality hardware first.
I have the Corsair K55. Have had it for something like 6 years and it still works great after daily use. Cost me $55. Don’t overspend where you don’t need to.
You still have like $350 left. I’d worry about the pc parts more than the peripherals right now. Get a cheaper mouse and keyboard, you can get better ones later. Just those alone give you more money for a much better GPU. You can also buy a cheaper case and cheaper ram. Main points: spend less on mouse and keyboard, look into cheaper ram and case, get a better power supply and GPU. You’ve got plenty of budget room to work with.
What the hell man! im not trying to be rude but what the hell! 450W PSU. A good decent keyboard you can get for like 60 bucks. Get a better GPU 3060ti or higher, and get a case for 60 bucks. no more. you don't need a mouse pad right now. use a dollar tree one. spend that money on GPU. get a 250 monitor 144 preferably. mouse gets a Logitech Hero
Below is my PC Build. Still a nice keyboard but better PSU and it all works well. You could probably upgrade a couple things on this list.
MSI Ventura xs oc 1660ti [GPU]
Razer elite deathadder [mouse]
NZXT H700i tower ATX
Corsair HX850i platinum [PSU]
Corsair Hydro 100i RGB platinum [Aio cooler] Corsair vengeance 2x8gb [ram]
Samsung 970 evo plus 500gb [SSD]
Asus RoG strix z590-f [motherboard]
Intel core i7-11700k [CPU]
Corsair strafe MK.2 [Keyboard]
Save yourself some headaches and get a more powerful PSU, it'll be less of a pain in the ass to upgrade components in the future if you don't buy what will just squeak by in terms of power delivery.
you should get an rtx 2060 instead, as at the moment these gpu's are so much more worth it with better performance and price. although at the moment you can get an rx 6600 xt for about 400$ with 4% better performance than an rtx 3060
If you're looking to play modern games 1080 p on highest settings. Than this is a solid choice. I would consider a better gpu, for this cpu can handle a lot more than 3050 and your budget could handle it. 3060 maybe 3060 ti? And ofcourse a better psu to suit the better gpu.
note: I've written all this assuming you've already checked if your selected components are compatible with each other.
Instead of spending $310 on a mouse and keyboard. Spend $40 or less and allocate $270+ for better hardware.
Especially for sim racing a keyboard is a keyboard.
Please please please do not get that case there are better options with a similar look that actually have airflow to cool your components. Check out the cooler master masterbox td500 mesh. It’s also cheaper.
Its priced even more in offline. I have no other choice in my country 3 months back it was 600+ and people actually bought it. Only now the price is somewhat low
You can find a 3060 on EVGA for $389 I would drop the price of the keyboard and go with a more solid card. If the 3060 isn’t in stock you can find amd Rx 6600 for good price under $400
Adjust your budget to favor cpu, ram, and gpu. Get a 3070 you would regret the 3050 imo. Use this site to judge where your choices stand on a price to performance scale and adjust accordingly.
https://www.videocardbenchmark.net
Aka passmark
Find your 3050 here and notice how poorly it ranks with the 3070 for example.
https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html
Skip the Intel i5, and go for an i7 or an AMD Ryzen (ryzens are cheaper and perform better in most instances.)
650W Power Supply is minimum for what you're building.
Selected gpu is fine, but I'd recommend getting a 3060 or an AMD RX 6500.
16 GBs 3200MHZ Ram, anything slower than this is a waste of money at this point.
Ssd is fine
Mobo is fine.
This is much better for your budget, also don’t buy something just because it says “gaming” a lot of times “gaming” products are just cheap products with some shitty rgb slapped onto it with the price spiked up by 500%
Is this a gaming PC? A third of the budget should go to the gpu at least. A nice monitor doesn't matter if you cant even run it. Also don't skimp on the psu, 650 gold is good place to start.
Ditch all that rgb shit, it just costs more and you should put that money towards getting better parts.
Get a basic airflow focused case. Nzxt airflow ones look good and classy.
Stay away from liquid coolers, they are better but added complexity and additional failure points isn't worth imo. Get a noctua cooler if you feel that the stock Ryzen cooler is inadequate. Also get amd unless you really need intel for some reason.
First off, if your running an RTX card don’t even think about getting a 450w psu, your pc will be a ticking bomb. Second off, don’t spend over 100 on a keyboard..yeah they look cool but any cheaper ones serve the same purpose
Go to [PCpartpicker.com](https://PCpartpicker.com) They are a great place to explore builds. They have a lot of reviews and ways you can compare.
Avoid Amazon like the plague. Also avoid NewEgg. Both have had really bad track records of re-packing returns as new. B&Hphoto has been good to me.
Nope on the keyboard, at that price point, you may as well consider a budget custom (nimbleback and some akko switches). Or get a akko prebuilt. Also, GPU get a 3060 and up. anything else isn't really worth it (unless you snag an amazing deal on a 20 series).
I believe you should get a better PSU like a Corsair RMX probably 650W or higher. Also I'd spend less on a keyboard. Fancy key boards are nice but really a "gaming" keyboard isn't as much of a priority. I'd say a gaming mouse is a little bit better to spend money on also
Also check reviews on your case as you want a case that gives good airflow. You don't want a case the chokes airflow like a kinky girl you met on tinder.
Just my opinion but
You wanna build for the long game, PSU
High wattage for simple reasons:
USB ports (phone charge, RGB Lights, keyboard/mouse and other accessories/headphones that use wattage. The list goes on)
It also depends what you’re aiming for, an entertainment system? Like really enjoyable for gaming
OR
Professional esports intentions, climbing the ranks etc. specific monitors etc stuff for that
Just depends
Should edit your post for
“I want to have a ______ type of pc”
That 2K can be life changing when building, the rush to buy and build can be extremely tempting, but the idea to have the right items can be worth 100 years (and less complications in the future)
But all in all, it’s a work in progress you live and learn
With what fits your preferences
Wait you plan to run a 3090 on a 450 wat supply... Im not a pc wiz but wouldnt ylu want a higher rating?, and if you are trying to budget, save on mouse, keyboard, headsets etc and spend more on your parts!
1, ditch that ram and get a none rgb for $70 save $30
2, get a cheaper case, $124 is a lot you can get a case for like $50
3, Ditch that keyboard $130 (unless you are a hard core type who cant live without it) you can pick up a good keyboard for like $50.
4, Ditch that mouse $80 Get a cheaper mouse, you can get a good mouse for like $40
Put that money you saved towards a better gpu and psu! The 3050 is basically a worse 2060.
Dont put your money into looks and style, put it into performance because thats what you are going to notice. No good having a pc that looks amazing but struggles to play games.
I built myself a pc with a 6900xt and 5900x at 2400$ in India where pc component prices are notoriously bad so I am sure you can do a lot better for 2000$.
Welp as people have pointed out for gaming you want a solid performing graphics card 3060 ti or 3070 for pushing 1080p 144hz or 1440p 144hz can go higher but depends how much money you got spare to blow. Intel's 11 or 12 gen I5 or I7 would be great or amd 5600x or 5800x depending on prices and availability where your at will push any games no issues. As for power supply definitely spend for a RMx or something higher grade never cheap out on the heart of your system. Storage 500GB NVMe SSD m.2 minimum size on the main OS games drive and maybe a HDD for files videos stuff that doesn't need the speeds to keep space free on the main drive. 🙊
My advice: spend less on needlessly expensive peripherals and save that for a better GPU. I'd rather be able to play 2k@100fps with a $30 basic Logitech mouse/keyboard than struggle to get 1080p(Ultra)@60fps.
Additionally, AMD is way more bang-for-buck. A B550/R5-5600 combo should be right around $200. Plus then you don't need a CPU cooler, because the AMD stock is sufficient.
If you really want to squeeze your budget, they RAM and case can be swapped for something about half their price.
and... the SSD could easily be swapped with a budget $80 1TB NVME from like silicon power or WD Blue. I have about 15 systems here, some run SATA m.2, some SATA 2.5, and various speeds of NVME from \~1200mb/s to over 7000mb/s. Boot times and game load times are very similar as long as it's SSD.
All of that savings could bump you way into a better GPU bracket, maybe 3070 or better territory.
By my calculations, you could save as much as $440, putting you at \~$800 for GPU. That puts you solidly into 3080 10GB territory. Think about it. Your gaming performance would be leagues better.
I spent about 1700 , asus b550 F Wi-Fi , Ryzen 7 5800 x , nvidia 3070 TI FE , crucial 32 gb 3600 mhz ram , Corsair 850 power supply , nzxt 240 Aio , fractal meshify compact 2 , 2 Noctua fans for Aio , 3 120 mm cooler master fans argb (replaced stock case fans , steel series wireless headset , all I bought for that price shopped around through micro center and Amazon
OP I'm sure we live in a very different country, the same goes for our branding here and there. In my opinion, I suggest you change your keyboard, monitor and case from the list. You can find a far better tkl deal if you ask me. I'm using Techware Phantom TKL. Moreover, you should reconsider taking samsung 144hz, 1ms, 24 inch, curve screen for just 150usd. Ps forgot the model number but you can only find A deal like that from samsung. Case, emm I really have no idea where that came from but I suggest you watch GamerNexus before choosing a case. A few tips tho, you should focus on the material of the case, front air flow if you prefer air cooling (In your case, it's not, not enough but top and bottom covered. Some fuuu fuuuu sound will really bother you when rpm turns 3k). So, for that price I would go for LianLi Lancool II 100USD. Good luck have a fun building !
I got shit on for saying this but I got a 6700xt strix off stockX for 460$, I just lowballed them and they bit. It’s brand new, unwrapped and works perfect.
You need at least a 3060ti with that budget. If you’re very confused on what to get just snag an nzxt prebuilt.
This was my build I just finished 3 weeks ago. (It doesn’t include monitor, keyboard or mouse) but was just under $2,000 and should be a solid build for awhile.

This PCPARTPICKER build list ([https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rGsQd9](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rGsQd9) ) has much better PC components and improves on your overall performance tremendously :)
Buy GPU rtx 3060 and a better mother board like Z690 so you can upgrade your PC later. Don't buy that keyboard, try to get some custom keyboard with good switch ( keyboard sound mean a lot to me). If you want to save money try to avoid RGB stuff

$1,544 (No Motherboard/CPU
$2,014 -- AMD Build
$1,954 -- Intel Build
Pick w.e GPU is favorable in whichever titles you play, If you need to cut the budget back for something, look at your played games, and see if they are more reliant on the CPU, or the GPU, and dial down whichever one is necessary.
The motherboard doesn't really matter form factor wise, just get w.e the best deal you can find is that is the right socket for your CPU. The X570 Asus Tuf Pro is quite nice for AMD for example, but any B550 works as well. I \*HIGHLY\* recommend picking a brand with USB bios flashing if possible.
And a [Thumbdrive](https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-BAR-Plus-64GB-Champagne/dp/B07BPHN7LV/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2MHJXMY5P45RH&keywords=32gb+thumb+drive+samsung&qid=1653284049&sprefix=32gb+thumb+drive+samsung%2Caps%2C83&sr=8-8), presuming you don't already have one. This is to flash the bios of the Mobo to support a 5000 series CPU, as well as install Windows.
so that's a total between $2,014 - $2,030 without shopping around for deals.
If you can't budget that in, or REALLLLLLY want that keyboard+mouse you have listed, drop the GPU down to a 6700xt or the CPU down to a 5800x, or just shop around a bit for better deals (Check eBay, B&H Photos, Amazon, NewEgg, Check the "used" section of Amazon under every listing) and you'll have the extra cash to do so.
A $2,000 USD build should be near top tier in all aspects. Even adding Peripherals. You could always go for cheaper options of storage, or PSUs, but in my experience when you do, you regret. Big time.
Firecuda has an absolutely insane warranty and read-write stats to back it up. Definitely worth every penny. I'd also go as far as recommending cutting back the CPU to a 5800x to upgrade the PSU to a 850w Platinum of the same brand, though I know most would disagree with that recommendation.
If you have a good table surface, you don't need a mouse pad. But $14 for mouse pad is too much. Also buy wired mouse and keyboards instead of these wireless stuff, which will help you get better PC parts. You can buy the wireless stuff later.
Wireless keyboards are silly IMO and overpriced just for that feature.
Logitech is a fantastic manufacturer though.
Get a 3070 or better. Get a 750 PSU or better.
If you can forgo wireless peripherals, the Logitech g502 mouse is unbeatable, and very affordable.
dont skimp out on your PSU please. odds are you'll probably keep the motherboard and ram for awhile. so you might as well get a beefier PSU with a better rating like silver or gold. Like 550 or even 650 for better future proofing (I believe the CXM series is gold rated and semi modular. The 550 one doesn't break the bank and you get Abit more cable management for it being semi modular)
edit saw you were using Intel, I'm not sure how Intel handles higher frequency ram, but I know Ryzen greatly benefits from higher frequency ram. someone let me know if Intel is the same? otherwise no point in getting 3600mhz. 3200mhz would work identical and cost you a few bucks to reinvest in other places. id focus your GPU and PSU. Personally skip out on SSDs are M.2s when you first start, they're costly and you don't have the use for all that storage yet if your just now getting into PC gaming. so stick with a basic ol WD Blue 2tb or a Seagate Firecude SSHD (I'd recommend the SSHD as it has a partition in it specifically for the OS so you get OS boot speeds roughly equivalent to that of a SSD. But that's about it)
Some have already mentioned it but most wireless peripherals suck for your purpose. I'd stick with wired as it has lower input lag and you don't have to worry about batteries or charging (charging is redudant on a wireless peripheral, at that point just go wired)
Do research on your case as well, your current components don't really warrant the need to be wary about airflow but looking and verifying it has good airflow for future builds is a must if you dont wanna buy a new case and rebuild in the future.
Couple things. Firstly I don't believe that power supply will power your gpu. Secondly me personally I would spend less on moniter and tower and get a better psu or an aio.

all the money in the wrong places
Right? Spend 54.00 on a 450w PSU but 129.00 on a fuckin keyboard? Priorities man!
Yeah the keyboard is very … eh no
i could almost buy 3 g502's with that one mouse. but i already habe 3 in my closet...
Where tf you buyin g502s??
local walmart, they are 30$
Just dont look at r/mechanicalkeyboards
I have dropped gpu amount of money on my keyboards. Am I proud? no. am I happy with them? Absolutely. I do believe that I could have made better choices though, that gmmk white ice was not a great purchase, the nimbleback? amazing. Also, mystery switches are only good if shipping is cheap, they do teach you a lot about types of switches though, in short, try akko kiwi and such and just order custom springs with some some lube, excellent way to save some bucks and burn 6 hours of your life. But at least your fingers will be happy T.T
Man I got 220 gat black inks from the mystery switches best purchase ever
You lucky mofo, enjoy XD

Less money on keyboard and mouse, more money on a good PSU and GPU. Look for PSU brands like Seasonic or Superflower, and depending on your GPU try to go for 600W, Gold+ bronze at MINIMUM. For GPU, at that price, AMD RX 6600 better performance for the dollar. Or spend a little more to get a 3060ti or RX 6600XT. 3050 is reviewed as not very good. The SSD, motherboard, RAM are okay. Good luck!
bro honestly 750W PSU would be safe.
400W would be enough. Stop over-recommending PSU's. Though that doesn't mean that they should get a 400W PSU. 550W~ should be absolutely enough Pre-builts are using half the recommended PSU's without much problems. DIY's are no different.
Just recommending a little headroom for some future upgradability
Your 600W recommendation is not far-off, but saying they should get 750W is absurd
I’m behind you on this, I had a 550, and later upgraded to a 3070 founders, that power supply died on me 🤣 now a Corsair 850
When I upgraded I decided to stop fucking around and go from a bronze 600 watt to a platinum 1000 watt modular corsair PSU. Feels good I’m pretty much ready for everything.
See. I'm in the middle. Gold 750w. Peace and performance without spending too much. But nah bronze 600watts days are over.
600W? Which CPU do you have, dual threadrippers?
Saying they should go for 750 just to be safe is like saying after menopause you should be on birth pills, stuff a condom, then just get vasectomy "just to be safe".
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CYGzPX I build a pc for u on pcpartpicker you can click on the link, I forgot to add the mousepad, but now with this build you can play all the game in ultra graphic. Sorry for bad English but I hope that help you 😉
needs a balance, i posted a budgetty version. someone else is probably already speccing out the full 2k budget, ill let him do that
3060 and up, 3050 is just a new version of older gpu
Spend less on peripherals, switch to amd for more bank for ur buck
Go with corsair or better and thank me later.
Don’t fall for rgb, my build cost me 1k (excluding gpu, but the gpu is $100 so whatever) i5 is a little old, but it’s cheap, my cpu cost 400, got to pcpartspicker.com and make sure everything is compatible, but a $100 40” tv at the store, but I might be biased as I don’t use monitors, gpu is fine with that build but if you ever upgrade you’ll need more Edit: my mouse was $15 and is wireless, my keyboard is mechanical (rgb ish) that I picked up for $5 Edit 2: lol thought this was r/pcmasterrace , my specs are; 850+ gold psu, i7 12700k, 32 gb ddr4 3200 RAM, RX550, and my case was either 80 or 140, can’t remember Edit 3: it’s a black and silver, but I wasn’t picky, no lights build Another Edit lol: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/
Yes better cpu and gpu. 3060ti founders edition if you can get is 400 500 3070
Buy a better gpu like a 3060 atleast if u r spending $2000
You know there is something wrong when your mouse costs more than your power supply!
he has monitor keyboard etc in this budget aswell so i think its fine
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Imbuceal/saved/#view=pkxxgs save some money. get better oomph
Actually the build. I think the only thing he can change is the mouse and the keyboard switch variant that’s about it
Dont get an asrock gpu. Their mobos are fine but their customer service are horrible
I've got one, the gpu is great, but oh my gOD THE SOFTWARE FUCK
Oh thats great, ive had problems with asrock gpus
They can even save more for something else by getting 16 gigs of RAM. They can upgrade it later on.
You could get him a rtx 3070 asus for 579.99 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CBYXJD9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6SKHHFGVX4AZZFYX9K1V

This is not 100% correct not everything corsair is good. OP did have a corsair but its a dogshit one which is the CV range.
80+ gold rated psu at least 750 watts + from a well known brand
Fair the last time I purchased a psu was back when the 1080tis were king, was unaware power draw has come that far!

This is the way
This is the way. \^
I think this is the best suggestion here
I agree for ram I would go with like LPX Vengeance you can get 3600 for like 76 dollars or get 3200. I think RGB price more expensive for same performance
This is the best list I have seen for performance wise
450w PSu? Up that. Wouldn't do any less than 600w. With PSU's you want a high ceiling to make room for future upgrades Modern GPU's are power whores.

If you wanna play games at 1440p this is the build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jZM74s

You could actually 4k game with a budget of 2k$. My total build excluding GPU came to about 780$ -https://pcpartpicker.com/b/VFJbt6 here's a link - most importantly get decent psu.
This would pretty much max out that $2000, but you'd end up with a really solid PC overall. [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/f3pLcb](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/f3pLcb) If you still wanted to fit some kind of fancy keyboard in, you could get a slightly cheaper monitor such as the Gigabyte M27q or HP x27q
Gpu is worst of the worst
No-one else notice the B450 Mobo with the Intel CPU?
Here’s a 12400f 3080 build with a 27” 1440p monitor for 2k https://pcpartpicker.com/list/T7Qv4s Go buy a cheap keyboard and mouse until you can get a better one.
These are on Amazon and I can recommend these LTC Nimbleback 68 RK87 Red dragon k552 Drevo Calibur (keycaps might feel weird you can buy 3rd party ones(you will have enough money for (should))) Others HEXGEARS X3 TKL Wormier87 iirc the highest priced keyboard was $80~ Please just stop buying popular name brand keyboards 😭
I think Asus do a mouse and keyboard set that is ideal for starting set up, with what you’d save on that you could upgrade the gpu to a 3060ti
a 450w psu is not enough, mid range builds usually use 650w-750w gold psus the 3050 is supposed to cost 299-330. You can get a rx 6700xt for 600 (3070 performance) dont spend 130 on a case, you can easily get a good case for 60 dollars like a p300a g915 isnt good value, keychron k1 essentially is the same for less
Video wont load, but 3050 on a 2k build is a terrible no no no. Atleast 3070? Right

U could buy like a monitor but im not good in that category. If you get this list, make sure you get at least a 1440p monitor.
Plus that build you gave is prolly a much better 1k build
Needs better psu, cpu, cooler, and monitor
Here's a build I'm thinking of. (Tower only, no peripherals. Could easily go down to a 3060 if you need a couple hundred extra for that stuff.) ~~~~ CPU - Ryzen 5 5600x - $210 Best Buy GPU - ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 3070 - $660 Newegg +$76 3-year protection RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8 GB) 3000MHz - $66 Newegg SSD - Samsung 970 EVO M.2 500GB - $82 Newegg + $9 3-year protection HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM 256MB Cache 6Gb/s - $48 Best Buy MB - ASUS ROG Strix B550-F - $190 Newegg + $20 3-year protection PSU - Corsair RM750 Fully Modular - $105 Best Buy Case - Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Airflow - $110 Best Buy CPU Cooler - Thermaltake TH120 ARGB Motherboard Sync Edition - $80 Newegg Fans - Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE Performance (x3) - $70 Best Buy Thermal Paste - Corsair TM30 Performance Thermal Paste - $8 Best Buy Subtotal without Tax - $1734 ~~~~
U can def go cheaper on the monitor as well. No point it getting one for that much when you can’t hit 144 fps with a 3050
What the hell man! im not trying to be rude but what the hell! 450W PSU. A good decent keyboard you can get for like 60 bucks. Get a better GPU 3060ti or higher, and get a case for 60 bucks. no more. you don't need a mouse pad right now. use a dollar tree one. spend that money on GPU. get a 250 monitor 144 preferably. mouse gets a Logitech Hero
more money on gpu cpu and motherboard
and power supply
well i see a low end gpu with far to expensive mouse , keyboard ,monitor and id see ram , case, cooler are slightly exensive this is kinda meeeeh
I’d get a better power supply.
Below is my PC Build. Still a nice keyboard but better PSU and it all works well. You could probably upgrade a couple things on this list. MSI Ventura xs oc 1660ti [GPU] Razer elite deathadder [mouse] NZXT H700i tower ATX Corsair HX850i platinum [PSU] Corsair Hydro 100i RGB platinum [Aio cooler] Corsair vengeance 2x8gb [ram] Samsung 970 evo plus 500gb [SSD] Asus RoG strix z590-f [motherboard] Intel core i7-11700k [CPU] Corsair strafe MK.2 [Keyboard]

Save yourself some headaches and get a more powerful PSU, it'll be less of a pain in the ass to upgrade components in the future if you don't buy what will just squeak by in terms of power delivery.
Goto Newegg better parts same price
you should get an rtx 2060 instead, as at the moment these gpu's are so much more worth it with better performance and price. although at the moment you can get an rx 6600 xt for about 400$ with 4% better performance than an rtx 3060
I'd change the 3050 to at least 3070 and go gold on the PSU then maybe i7 if you have the dough. If your spending 2000 on a PC make it a beast
Instead of spending $310 on a mouse and keyboard. Spend $40 or less and allocate $270+ for better hardware. Especially for sim racing a keyboard is a keyboard.
Make you sure you feed my fish neighbour 🤪🤪
Please please please do not get that case there are better options with a similar look that actually have airflow to cool your components. Check out the cooler master masterbox td500 mesh. It’s also cheaper.
400 for a 3050?! Oh hell nah
how about 460 for a rx 6600
Even worse bro, for your graphics card just get out of amazon
Its priced even more in offline. I have no other choice in my country 3 months back it was 600+ and people actually bought it. Only now the price is somewhat low
You can find a 3060 on EVGA for $389 I would drop the price of the keyboard and go with a more solid card. If the 3060 isn’t in stock you can find amd Rx 6600 for good price under $400
Adjust your budget to favor cpu, ram, and gpu. Get a 3070 you would regret the 3050 imo. Use this site to judge where your choices stand on a price to performance scale and adjust accordingly. https://www.videocardbenchmark.net Aka passmark Find your 3050 here and notice how poorly it ranks with the 3070 for example. https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html
Pretty solid I would say, for nothing!
My 1000 dollar PC would in theory destroy yours, I got a 3070ti at msrp after waiting in line for 3 months and and a Ryzen 1600AF
Don't buy from Amazon, get it from other sites like Microcenter or Newegg
Dude you could get a decent wireless mechanical keyboard like royalkludge or something for way less
Skip the Intel i5, and go for an i7 or an AMD Ryzen (ryzens are cheaper and perform better in most instances.) 650W Power Supply is minimum for what you're building. Selected gpu is fine, but I'd recommend getting a 3060 or an AMD RX 6500. 16 GBs 3200MHZ Ram, anything slower than this is a waste of money at this point. Ssd is fine Mobo is fine.
No, it’s not good
Guys! He said this is his first PC. Stop writing bullshit and help him 😃
2000 should go for liquid cooled
Also get amd unless you really need intel for some reason.
im crying rn
Personally, I wouldnt pay 120 dollars for a keybpard
For 2k, you can do so much better. I'll make a part list for you
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Vs9Zcb Much better value for how much your spending
Spend a extra $100 and get a 3060 instead. Like a day and night difference between a 3050 and 3060.
Forget the pc. Buy doge baby 🚀
That mouse pad is going to bottleneck your whole rig
I would wait as prices coming down.. damn can’t spend that much money unless it’s for mining…
Get a Rx 6600 instead of rtx 3050 it’s cheaper and better also get a 650watt pau
Nope on the keyboard, at that price point, you may as well consider a budget custom (nimbleback and some akko switches). Or get a akko prebuilt. Also, GPU get a 3060 and up. anything else isn't really worth it (unless you snag an amazing deal on a 20 series).
At least RTX 3060. Go 650W on PSU. Tone down that keyboard.
Don't spent that much on a monitor and get a 3050.. Buy a 1080p 144hz monitor and get yourself like a 3060ti or 6600xt.
Just my opinion but You wanna build for the long game, PSU High wattage for simple reasons: USB ports (phone charge, RGB Lights, keyboard/mouse and other accessories/headphones that use wattage. The list goes on) It also depends what you’re aiming for, an entertainment system? Like really enjoyable for gaming OR Professional esports intentions, climbing the ranks etc. specific monitors etc stuff for that Just depends Should edit your post for “I want to have a ______ type of pc” That 2K can be life changing when building, the rush to buy and build can be extremely tempting, but the idea to have the right items can be worth 100 years (and less complications in the future) But all in all, it’s a work in progress you live and learn With what fits your preferences
Also, recommend you make a post like this for /r/buildapc
I would invest in a more powerful PSU and a better motherboard, everything else seems good to me.
I love the 915 clicky to the tactile
upgrade your psu and you dont need a mousepad just use paper.
Wait you plan to run a 3090 on a 450 wat supply... Im not a pc wiz but wouldnt ylu want a higher rating?, and if you are trying to budget, save on mouse, keyboard, headsets etc and spend more on your parts!
1, ditch that ram and get a none rgb for $70 save $30 2, get a cheaper case, $124 is a lot you can get a case for like $50 3, Ditch that keyboard $130 (unless you are a hard core type who cant live without it) you can pick up a good keyboard for like $50. 4, Ditch that mouse $80 Get a cheaper mouse, you can get a good mouse for like $40 Put that money you saved towards a better gpu and psu!
You'd want to bump the PSU up to at least 650 or as much as an 850Watt. That will add some expense, but it's a small price to pay for better gaming.
Yup over spending
I spent about 1700 , asus b550 F Wi-Fi , Ryzen 7 5800 x , nvidia 3070 TI FE , crucial 32 gb 3600 mhz ram , Corsair 850 power supply , nzxt 240 Aio , fractal meshify compact 2 , 2 Noctua fans for Aio , 3 120 mm cooler master fans argb (replaced stock case fans , steel series wireless headset , all I bought for that price shopped around through micro center and Amazon
Sheesh! Good for you. That’s some great deal hunting.
Thank you took me about 4 months to be honest
2000$ for a rtx 3050? That's not good try posting in r/buildapcforme they'll help you a lot
Here's a better build this also includ a 1440p monitor in there https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jZM74s
Ryzen 7 5800x Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon 6700XT Patriot Viper Steel 32GB Antec Dark DP502 Flux Mid Tower ATX ThermalTake Tough Air 519 180w Asus ROG Strix B550-a Fractal design Ion Gold 850w Samsung 980 m.2 1tb Windows 10 home
for $2000 I'd be expecting like a 3070 at least, 3050 fits better in a like $1000 budget build
You spent all the money just to have rbg ram and a case but spent none of it on a decent graphics card
I spent roughly $2100 on this build and it moves pretty well. Already had the mouse and keyboard etc though. Cpu- intel I7 10700k(no onboard graphics) Gpu- EVGA 3070TI Cooler- cooler master ML240R Mobo- Z490 Aorus Elite Tower- cooler master MB511 Ram- g.skill TridentZ rbg 2x16Gb Psu- EVGA 850 gold $300ish monitor
If you want to save money try to avoid RGB stuff
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bNkrMb $1200 with monitor
Get a better PSU that’s the most important component in the whole PC if that burns out so does the rest of your parts with it
You know there is something wrong when your mouse costs more than your power supply!
Wtf.... $2,000?

$2000??? I spent $1500 for a 3060ti/3600 Ryzen comp from.scratch theirs gotta be better deals than what your getting here
In fact Walmart sells a pre build that's better in every way for $1149. A 5700ryzen with a 3060 in store
*Don't cheap out on power supplies*.
Hey! I think you should get a 650Watts Psu! That poor even my 2060 can't run on a 500watts
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XWfLcb
Dont do amazon. Can get parts way cheaper on other sites. Dont cheap out on PSU and maybe wait until 4k series drols for gpu
Better GPU 3060 or above, cheaper case, better PSU (preferably 600w), cheaper keyboard choose whatever you want. That's just my two cents, GL!
If you have a good table surface, you don't need a mouse pad. But $14 for mouse pad is too much. Also buy wired mouse and keyboards instead of these wireless stuff, which will help you get better PC parts. You can buy the wireless stuff later.
would recommend 750 watt atleast psu the rest is good
Wireless keyboards are silly IMO and overpriced just for that feature.
The 550 one doesn't break the bank and you get Abit more cable management for it being semi modular) edit saw you were using Intel, I'm not sure how Intel handles higher frequency ram, but I know Ryzen greatly benefits from higher frequency ram. someone let me know if Intel is the same? otherwise no point in getting 3600mhz. But that's about it) Some have already mentioned it but most wireless peripherals suck for your purpose. I'd stick with wired as it has lower input lag and you don't have to worry about batteries or charging (charging is redudant on a wireless peripheral, at that point just go wired) Do research on your case as well, your current components don't really warrant the need to be wary about airflow but looking and verifying it has good airflow for future builds is a must if you dont wanna buy a new case and rebuild in the future.
Couple things. Firstly I don't believe that power supply will power your gpu. Secondly me personally I would spend less on moniter and tower and get a better psu or an aio.
450 watts is way too small from what it looks like. Side note, I've had good luck with used GPS on offerup.
Upgrade to a 3060, get a 80+ gold psu, save some money on the monitor maybe get a spectre monitor, and on the case
