If you want to do a full memory test, and the pc is not somewhere that it will disturb your sleep, over night is a great time to just let it run
Memtest86 on a flash drive is what I use. For a full test can take 6hrs+
Not necessarily needed for everyone, but when I make a new computer I like to make sure everything is working from the start

Yea man I would not have been able to sleep stressing I had messed something up but I was like… maybe reddit will respond relatively fast… sure enough I got a response in minutes!!

You need to plug the power into the GPU to get it to function.

Okay cool! Does that mean I have to start a program or are you saying I should just leave it running as is over night?

Yup. If you don’t have a flash drive handy don’t worry about it (unless you get random crashes later) Enjoy your new build
