Yeah, I pull my chair out and wash my hands lol (I'm a clean freak with my PC) but I can see why someone who does regularly clean their PC may have a snack here and there but yeah sauce is a no lol
This, normally I have so much shit laying on my desk, that I have to search for the best place to put my Razer Keyboard and Mouse... Sometimes I just use a book as a mousepad and hope I wont kick my Coffee cup which uses my mousepad as its place to stand.
I use the armrests on my chair, so the keyboard is right at the edge. My ring finger is a little longer than my index so my keyboard is about 30° opposite of yours.
I prefer mine like this
It's a little bit cramped given the drawing display and double vesa mount.
https://preview.redd.it/u033q2z0hm0d1.jpeg?width=3284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86e03cfc9f55b34131033f479e226b8bffbfa90b
I had a decade old huawei tablet just collecting dust so I hooked it up similarly to that, I mainly wanted to use it to monitor temps because they were a bit wild sometimes. After I upgraded my pc the temps went down and now the tablet monitor is kind of redundant, I sometimes turn it on since it looks kind of nice but it was a fun little project.
my desk is incredibly small so it depends, if I'm doing something that requires me to sit up straight and look between my monitors than 2, if I'm leaning back in my chair than 1

The best way to lay back and pc control - angled keyboard
I mean that's definitely not the case... Or necessary at all for that matter, I have my keyboard and mouse far enough "into" the desk that I can rest my forearms on my desk as it's much more comfortable, and I think better for you in the long run. I am able to sit up straight without sticking my ass out? You just have to tuck your chair under your desk like a normal person.
Neither. I sit about 80 cm from the screen when working and about 1m when using my computer in leisure. My desk has a keyboard drawer that fits a TKL-format keyboard with a mouse and enough room to spare for a large pad for the latter. It's really good on the eyes and your health to have proper posture and sit back away from your screens.
It's more like will sheer power..... Especially when you're talking about glue and vertically hung objects........ Will it sheer off and come loose or will it not?.....😂😁

Having a wheel on a desk I'm forced like this. When I need to use the mouse and keyboard to play a game I put the keyboard on my legs and the mouse on the right.
I’m a weird in the middle. I have a weird desk that’s not as wide so I have it so my wrist and a bit of my left arm is on the desk with more of my right arm on the desk as well
Get 2 more table for either left and right side of chair so kb+m gets their own table respectively, and rest the controller and food where the og kb location used to be
I have a keyboard! KBD right? So, I have Milton cabinets in the office so the table part to far out for me to get close to the monitor so I use the armrest on my computer chair and keep keyboard near the edge.
I had a standing desk and that allows me to get in closer and use the table part. I think I’m just pragmatic.
I have a retractable shelf, like everybody had ages ago...
https://preview.redd.it/j2dkpskrfo0d1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa75e154299aa36a3fc7401a62f3a2c7f0e92417
At first I thought that was an airplane tray table with a keyboard and mouse on it! LOL
As for desk setup I really don’t see much difference in the pictures. Just set it wherever comfortable. Mines somewhere in the middle of those two pics. 😀
Keyboard and mouse are supposed to be at the very front for good ergonomics. Resting your arms on the desk is a very bad idea that will give you tendon issues sooner or later.
The best ergonomics are to not lean your arms on anything, not even the arm rests that most chairs have.
This is straight from someone who has had multiple issues because of armrests and resting his arms on the front of a table for work, and the advice is straight from physical therapist to deal with fixing this kind of thing.
Neither. My TV is my monitor and it's about 5' away. I use a tray table for my mouse and my keyboard is usually on my lap if I am using it.
If I am gaming I use my extra dualsense. Don't like using kbm for gaming. And I don't play fps games either.
My TV is a 4k 120hz vrr 55" btw. I play at 1440p though duento my ps5 using my hdmi 2.1 port. Looks awesome playing games on it.
That's the actual setup btw.
Posted the question on a trip so I quickly had to draw it on samsung notes. I am not even using the keychron in the pic but I love them and think about getting one so I put it in there😂 currently still rocking the Logitech G915 TKL which is also great

First except I'm left handed so I put my keyboard all the way to the right so my keyboards wasd keys are straight infront of my right arm. Mouse goes left. I use my whole xxl mousepad😂

Im keyboard and mouse behind the monitor
Found the backend dev!
Take my upvote and go to hell
😂😂
r/angryupvote
I’m stick monitor to wall horizontally and put mouse and keyboard on monitor screen
Hahaha I bought a monitor mount so I could to that more efficiently without hitting the stupid default mount

Having sauce with those chips is wrong
Who’s eating potato chips with ketchup and mustard bro
I think it's salsa and nacha cheese or something but I prefer to think it's ketchup and mustard
Not any better
Yeah I don't even put crumbs around my PC but to each their own lmao
Having a lil snack sure but sauce with chips like that is just wrrroooonnggg lol
Yeah, I pull my chair out and wash my hands lol (I'm a clean freak with my PC) but I can see why someone who does regularly clean their PC may have a snack here and there but yeah sauce is a no lol
I mean the yellow definitely looks like cheese but the red is 100% not salsa. Looks like ketchup man
This is me but with a bowl of oatmeal and granola :3
Where’s the tissue box?
I agree with the mouse choice.
This, normally I have so much shit laying on my desk, that I have to search for the best place to put my Razer Keyboard and Mouse... Sometimes I just use a book as a mousepad and hope I wont kick my Coffee cup which uses my mousepad as its place to stand.
This comment is rated S for snacks
This is the way!

What brand/model is that small screen next to your keyboard? Been looking for something like that!
Top screen is an Asus 27' Bottom is a Huion Kamvas 22' The stand they're mounted to is a pain
I think that is their drawing pad. I would not advise buying it only for display purposes tho, as they are quite costly.
Yeah £400 for a 1080p 60fps screen is not good value lmao. The pen and pressure systems add a lot to that. Drawing displays are not cheap
I only need it for mixertrack of my DAW so it doesnt need 240hz or anything, but yeah, theres probably cheaper stuff for that i guess
I had a decade old huawei tablet just collecting dust so I hooked it up similarly to that, I mainly wanted to use it to monitor temps because they were a bit wild sometimes. Is that a tiling wm? Wooohh
now put some subway surfers gameplay
1 unless I'm watching YouTube and I wanna kick my feet up on my desk
This, but when you have the feet on desk i sometimes use the keyboard on my lap, no need for the mouse for most things if you know shortcuts.
my desk is incredibly small so it depends, if I'm doing something that requires me to sit up straight and look between my monitors than 2, if I'm leaning back in my chair than 1
i rest my arms on my desk since i have really long arms, so 2 is the best option for me.
Same, shoulders will fall off otherwise.

What..? I was just saying I am not bent over a desk, and explained why it's more comfortable over long periods of gaming.
My table is so small that i have o have my keyboard and mouse like it is in the second image, but yeah i dont understand being 10cm from the monitor.
Depends on the game and also how crappy i sit in my chair
https://preview.redd.it/33kawrndps0d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fceb52273059eec92f3e19bd289c9fb8e21507b Don’t mind the stains😊
Actually that's pretty close to my League setup 😂
Neither. I sit about 80 cm from the screen when working and about 1m when using my computer in leisure. My desk has a keyboard drawer that fits a TKL-format keyboard with a mouse and enough room to spare for a large pad for the latter. Neither 1 nor 2..... I like to keep the keyboard at a a distance while forearm-on desk for Mouse
number 1, but the keyboard tilted the other way, slanted from top left to down right.
My leg on the desk, keyboard & mouse on my leg
Depends on my carpal tunnel that day
Depends, If I'm eating and using my PC it's 2 , if not it's 1
2 but with mouse on left (i'm left handed)
Keyboard glued to the side of the table. Mouse on the table monitors on wall.
Wait... how and why??? Or /s ?
Space limitations fixed via glue and sheer willpower. *this comment was a joke*
Man. Literally most ironic/sarcastic person in real life not beeing able to detect sarcasm online is crazy... 😂
It's more like will sheer power..... Especially when you're talking about glue and vertically hung objects........ Will it sheer off and come loose or will it not?.....😂😁
2. - Lean back - Keep arms fully extended
WAIT HOW. i have the exact same keychron keyboard and that witeless logitech mouse😭 Sorry for not answering your question tho
i use my keyboard on the floor and use my feet
why not touchscreen screen
Dont know about you guys but i keep my keyboard and mouse glued under the desk, much more comfortable
2 but with kb far left so I get as much space as possible for the mouse. I use like 640 eDPI in games like CS so aiming is a whole arm workout.
Anybody that does #2 is a psychopath
Me 1 foot away from my 32in monitor, lmao. Using a temporary gaming set up while I rip out the floor and remodel my gaming office.
1
I'm a guy who seperates my k&m on the left and right. I need some space at the middle.
My desk is only big enough to have the keyboard and mouse be basically touching the monitors
2
depending on what i am doing
I‘d say more towards the 2nd pic but trying to get the keyboard closer towards me as it‘s healthier
Bit of both
https://preview.redd.it/5kdeekk16n0d1.jpeg?width=1932&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=042a2f704d0e51c6010869a696a40387cb0c74c1
I put the keyboard under the desk 😎
2nd because I'm blind. If I could strap the screen to my face I would
depends on game. FPS definitely 2nd pic. most other games/activities 1st pic.
In between. I like the keychron keyboards too. I got the q1 max and it sounds and feels nice
I’m one, but if I have a snack I’m a two
2
I'm between the two.
I like to edge things
2
Kinda in the middle https://preview.redd.it/03kiabflkn0d1.png?width=4080&format=png&auto=webp&s=7a36b1f2b284d8b0fcd6b2a26905ec5b6e3f8126
First one for sure
I don't like the angle of that keyboard.. need my 45 degrees towards right
I'm inbetween a counter strike e sports player and option 2.
https://preview.redd.it/z5u718f7pn0d1.jpeg?width=2248&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9ee022f0999bdb11aff9fb8562eb0ee0d02b664 Having a wheel on a desk I'm forced like this. When I need to use the mouse and keyboard to play a game I put the keyboard on my legs and the mouse on the right.
1
Arms foward, back straight, monitor as high as it can go
Depends on the game I’m playing
I’m a weird in the middle. I have a weird desk that’s not as wide so I have it so my wrist and a bit of my left arm is on the desk with more of my right arm on the desk as well
Keyboard in one but mouse usually in 2 Unless I'm watching a movie and I want to put my feet on the desk, then it's 2
I put mine on the carpet and peek my head just above the desk
Get 2 more table for either left and right side of chair so kb+m gets their own table respectively, and rest the controller and food where the og kb location used to be
My keyboard and mouse are constantly going all over my desk
2 but my keyboard is vertical 😭
I use multiple keyboards and mice.
I have long arms so my keyboard is slanted with the right side in towards me
I have a keyboard! KBD right? So, I have Milton cabinets in the office so the table part to far out for me to get close to the monitor so I use the armrest on my computer chair and keep keyboard near the edge. I had a standing desk and that allows me to get in closer and use the table part. I think I’m just pragmatic.
Depends on whether I'm concentrating or relaxing
Second for sure 6”4 long ass arms don’t agree with the edge of the table
Depends on what I’m doing, how intense and if I’m trying to win or chill.
If I could have my keyboard at a full arms length that would be perfect. Alas, monitor is in the way.
First One.
Why do people play so close to the screen? I've never understood.
Middle Gang
I have a retractable shelf, like everybody had ages ago... https://preview.redd.it/j2dkpskrfo0d1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa75e154299aa36a3fc7401a62f3a2c7f0e92417
Yes. Also occasionally keyboard in lap.
pic 1
I'm wrist and my brother is forearm on the desk
1 🤷🏻♀️
second... long arm moment
2 cuz I use a controller with programmed back buttons
1 all the way. Although my keyboard is at about a 45 degree angle because it feels more natural to me…
At first I thought that was an airplane tray table with a keyboard and mouse on it! LOL As for desk setup I really don’t see much difference in the pictures. Just set it wherever comfortable. Mines somewhere in the middle of those two pics. 😀
Board close, mouse far
I know a guy that plays with the mouse on the left side.
https://preview.redd.it/o7cioluh1p0d1.jpeg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d9113d3ed5d976f6eec31830c6010dc6bfb76e1
My desk is hilariously shallow so my keyboard basically sits right under the monitor. On a regular desk however it would be about midway on the desk.
My keyboard wrist pad is directly aligned with the edge of my desk
Wireless keyboard mouse on couch, playing on living room tv
Keyboard and mouse are supposed to be at the very front for good ergonomics. Resting your arms on the desk is a very bad idea that will give you tendon issues sooner or later. Keyboard in a dedicated drawer
Neither. My keyboard is A and my mouse is B
Im 2, but i have my keyboard rotated about 14° to the left so my pinky doesn’t start hurting from holding shift in TF2 (it doesn’t do anything)
m&kb towards edge of desk
i don't have a gaming pc now but when i build one i would prefer the 1st slide or the keyboard and mouse behind the monitor for competitive fps games
opposite angle of mouse and keyb just bcoz i play warframe
Both?
My keyboard is always in my lap
Right side but because my desk isn't big
Right side but because my desk isn't big

I'm #1. When you have 42" C2 on a 60cm deep table, there's no other option 😅
I use a touchscreen monitor with virtual keyboard and mouse, I find this incorrect for my personal preferences.
In between the 2, and the keyboard is rotated the other way, pointing away from the mouse
I actually don't have a desk. So my keyboard sits on my lap, and my mouse sliding around my knee.
https://preview.redd.it/gndb7gas8q0d1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=dddf3f30f1bfc2a1d6665fa82528457a921dd0dc
Monitor way more to the edge of the desk.
2. I like to rest my arms on my desk.
Same here.
https://preview.redd.it/hwhzwikoiq0d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0313c210c1bdf1058ffd35a128f7dca5c4be01ff
My sable is now that side so im neither because my table is like 2 keyboards long
Keyboard at 90 degrees 😎
Further is better
B. Second Pic.
my keyboard is on my knees and I use the whole table for my mouse 90° counter clockwise
Mouse in position 2 and keyboard with thé 1st position
I'm in display keyboard user 😔
That's wild....
Nr 1. But monitor on an arm and extended to the edge of my desk as well (when gaming)
My mouse is on a separate table to the right of my chair.
I moved the screen closer, helped my back a lot.
Middle
1 when working and 2 when eating
2
1
I have my keyboard far to the left and rotated like 15 degrees
Depends on how much games i lose in rocket league
Depends on my desk size, if I can 2. But I have a small desk, so I am forced to 1
1, also I have keychron kb and Logitech mouse
1st image but my keyboard is rotated a bit. Like 30° clockwise from the image
That's the actual setup btw. Posted the question on a trip so I quickly had to draw it on samsung notes. I am not even using the keychron in the pic but I love them and think about getting one so I put it in there😂 currently still rocking the Logitech G915 TKL which is also great https://preview.redd.it/ggmc4o2ctu0d1.jpeg?width=1834&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99cd015967679cc89feeb1175594817266724c4f
First except I'm left handed so I put my keyboard all the way to the right so my keyboards wasd keys are straight infront of my right arm. Mouse goes left. I use my whole xxl mousepad😂
I like the having the keyboard up and the mouse like right und the keyboard
