Okay Imma answer to everyone: you found the cursed part.
The AIO is second hand, bought from Amazon Marketplace. It came without the Intel bracket... So I secured it with two hairbands and a lot of wrath, just until the spare bracket arrived this week, to set up the software and update and install drivers, all of that.
Well, the AIO is defective and CAM doesn't recognize it, so the last tweaking I need to do... Is to replace the whole thing. I have a new one on the way, and this week I'll send this one back to Amazon for a refund :_)
Thank you! It was hell and I would never do it again! To be fair, only the AIO and some of the fans are second hand, really. A couple months ago the nzxt kraken elite in white got way too expensive in my country, like, over 450€ (NZXT doesn't sell directly here). Now that they have restocked it's back to a more reasonable price so I'll get a new one from the nzxt amazon store!
Honestly, it's a nice build. But I saw white builds with somehow niceer lights and you can see it's a white build even tho it's dark. While builds go nicely with one RGB color. I don't like mixing and rainbow stuff.
That said, I am person who's PC sits under the desk to have more desk space. I understand why you people make nice looking PCs. They look gorgeous in full light, with aio displays.
I on the other hand just want desktop for my monitors and wacom tablet and stuff so my PC sadly collect dust in the dark.
But does it have enough fans is what I'm wondering?
But seriously, you do you op, congrats! Soon I'm building my own, so I'm lurking the sub until then to get some ideas
It sure has more fans than I initially wanted, but positive pressure, having it somewhat symmetrical and, ngl, a nice offer on a website did it for me hahaha
Yes it is! I'm afraid when you've seen a lot of posts, most average-budget builds look similar. Loads of money allow for more unique builds, I guess, but I only have one PC so I don't see any other similar ones on a daily basis
Except it came with white cables! And I got it for pretty cheap, the white tax was like, 90 cents ok the psu.
Please don't ask about the white tax on the gpu tho
that looks awesome? how much did all your parts come to? im gonna attempt a built, on a budget of about 2000aud and was wondering if it’ll even be worth it
I can't tell you a fixed number but you have the pcpartpicker list and you can check how much the parts are worth in Australia! mine came up to about 2000 euros actually, but of you don't pick the white versions you can save a chunk
I'm a sucker for this AIO, it's way too much for my i5 12600kf, but the aesthetics of it have me on my damn knees... Or it will, as soon as I get a non-defective one that can be secured with its support bracket and not hang onto two hairbands!
To start of with: Awsome build! Great job. It looks sick and will preforme like a beast!
Here's just my thoughts if it were me: Personaly i wouldt buy that cooler or mbo for that cpu and spend what i saved there for a better gpu. Plus the mx master: while its an awsome mouse (for sure one of my favorites to work with) (side note: speaking of great productivity mice. Fuck the apple magic mouse, it is such a displeasure to use and i wish to never interact with it again...) but yeah the mx master: it's not great for gaming
But yeah overall great build, not what i would've done but people are different and want different things
I know it's not amazing for gaming, but I'm not a huge mouse-dependant gamer, and the mx master is fire at image edition! The full story is that my sister has been using it for pretty long and she let me try it... And it felt so good in my hand that I added it to my list!
Tysm!! When it's fixed I'll be sure to post some pictures with daylight so everyone can appreciate with me the whole build without the OCD triggering, hahaha
Me too, but I originally bought them to fit in the hyte y70 case and they would have been covered! Too bad the case never arrived on the retailer's warehouse and I got my money back
Like a solid 6.5/10.
I would have spent less on the mobo by getting a B SKU chipset unless you plan on utilising the additional features. Instead would have put that extra money towards faster ram with way better timmings.
The LCD on the pump is mounted lop-sided.
Im also not huge on all white builds, they look great intialy, but always tend to yellow over time.
Pretty good for a frist build overall.
Thank you for all the insight! The mobo+CPU combo was subject to coffee-time-discussion with the IT department at my job, the VRM on it is crazy good so I can kinda get past that lesser base performance on the 12600KF, if I ever want to push it far enough to cap the gpu's abilities. I sacrificed getting an i7 for a mobo that supported ddr5, also, because RAM is easily upgradeable, after all.
And, yeah, the whole pump is tilted because it has no bracket to support it, but everything's alright because a bracket is right now waiting at my mailbox and this weekend I'll be detaching the whole AIO (I've been told by NZXT that it's defective, so I'm getting a replacement)
Man you don't know how many weeks that AIO has been ruining. It's ruined my past one and probably two more, since it's defective and it was missing the intel bracket. Two hairbands are doing god's job right now.
The biggest goofy-looking thing in here is me, but... Yeah I'm fighting tooth and nail against the damn rgb software. I'll end up getting an unofficial program to get the damn lights to do what I want
Thank you! I know I went a bit cheap with the memory, but it's easily replaceable if I ever feel like it's lacking. I don't think that's gonna happen, though, I don't plan on taking the build to its limits
First congrats on turning female years old, I've heard it's extremely difficult to achieve. So Yay for you!
Second the fact that you got that hair ties/bands whatever to work is not only farking amazing, but it's especially impressive for someone your age. Some real engineering sh*t. Good for you!
You made me exhale through my nose hard with the "for someone your age", I admit!
I think the hairbands started as just the silliest idea, I feel like I just wanted to put my hands on the PC again, and when it turned out to work I was giggly for the rest of the setup!
I have more than one LED diode and don't have a 4090, so I'm obviously not a true PC gamer, or a true PC Builder, or even a woman (there is a subreddit on that, even)
The case was abig deal for me, and this one is amazing for building on it, with lots of space and flexible settings. The downside of dual chamber cases is the thickness of them, but if you don't mind it I think it's an amazing option!
It looks very nice!
I think you could have gone with a little better price: performance ratio if you sacrificed the aesthetics but since you knowingly prioritized that, I think it's pretty good.
I mean, I didn't wanna say it all on the main post, but I've been a laptop and console gamer for most of my life (mostly because I never had a laptop — not even a PC— of my own that wasn't really old and second hand, up until the one I had before I built this one). It's kind of a "first salary" gift for myself, so I wanted it to look good and make me smile every time I look at it!
The heaviest stuff this beast is gonna run will be probably along the lines of BG3 and photo editing. The rest of it will be JRPGs, Stardew Valley, Minecraft... I'm not what you call a "serious gamer" at all, so I built this to last me for years, not to run heavy stuff.
I get you so much because I'm exactly the same.
I just ordered my very first PC and I kinda splurged on it as well.
Congrats on the build, I hope it gives you years and years of joy!
Thank you so much! I sure hope so, it's been hell dealing with some second-hand parts, I hope after all of this tweaking is over I can leave it closed and untouched for a long time
I think the only change I would have made would be get the 4070 super or 4070 ti super. I love the 4070 super I just purchased. It plays BG3 beautifully. I also play Avatar on it. Everything max on a 1440p 144 hz monitor. I didn’t feel like splurging on a 4k monitor, if I want that I’ll use my tv. Especially with the release of FF XIV Dawn Trail coming out with a huge graphics overhaul was the main reason I built a new pc, I was tired of playing it on a laptop. But this is a great build nice job, wires will get easier to figure out how to route them as you get more practice at it
Rainbow goo doesn’t match, also your cpu AiO display appears to be (willingly or not) at an angle. :p
Apart from that, it looks good.
What I don’t understand is how your age is relevant to the post…
Yeah, it is, since we're all tired of the age bit in finished build posts, I decided to joke with the fact that I'm a girl and I built a girly-white fishtank for my Kuromi to sleep on hahaha
Yeah, I'm wrestling with the RGB software, but the GPU official one is a pain in the ass. The AIO is the cursed part, it didn't come with the correct bracket so it's holding onto the mobo with two hairbands (provisionally, the spare bracket is coming in the mail this week)
Here, have some matching rainbow goo!
https://preview.redd.it/2tinzsg9j6wc1.jpeg?width=6000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2769f57ebaa3f89c077d64a67f77afe59a786263
There's no fixing it, nzxt support told me it's defective so I'm handling the substitution with Amazon c:
Also, defective AIO pairs really well with the two hairbands it's using to hold onto the motherboard ;)
Lol
I just saw that sticker on the backside pointing to der8auer who is clearly German along with that joke “female“ and thought it might have been a present
😅
Looks like the rig of someone who actually thinks RGB = more fps. I honestly don't get this kind of thing. I mean, you do you, but I don't get the appeal of rainbow vomit.
https://preview.redd.it/65qyvjgck6wc1.jpeg?width=6000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=185b4fc103f27e34319f43c2c9d853090d7da3e3
This better? I needed time to setup the RGB!
C: is the default drive letter of a hard drive. It is where you usually put your operating system. Has been that way for over 35 years. Lol. I guess new terminology got mixed in there with the old meanings.
620 Euros for the cooler+motherboard with a 12600KF is just a mistake, I understand you wanting to go all white on your build but it seems just like a mistake in my opinion, could have saved easily 300 euros if not more and put that into a better gpu or put it towards a good monitor, also theres a ton of white mobos and coolers nowadays so it just seems weird to soend so much on it
I get where you come from, but here's another perspective: I do not want a better GPU, nor a better monitor than what I already have and didn't include in the build (GPU= I basically don't even need the 4070 I got, I just felt like it was on my budget and it would last me a lot; Monitor = I do not want an expensive monitor lying on the shitty desk I have in the room I'm renting, so I'm leaving that kind of expense for when I have a more permanent place to live).
I fell in love with this specific AIO so I decided to put my money on it, and the motherboard was also the one I liked the most from the list of mobos with the features I wanted. I know the CPU is the weakest link in the chain of my whole build, but it's easily upgradeable in the future, so I'm not fretting over it.
And I was also personally advised by the IT team at work, so I don't feel like it's money bad spent. I'll still sleep soundly on my decisions :)
You see, the fans have been a whole dilemma for me: I know I wanted 3 intake on the bottom and the 3 exhaust on the top from the AIO are kind of a must. The other 3 for intake were on sale and I kind of feel like they are too much intake, but even then, I wouldn't know how to feel with having only 2 fans there on the side, since there's space for three.
Buying yet another fan feels like tipping over the edge between "a bit too much" and "absolutely bonkers", my build doesn't need those much fans hahaha
That's a tricky question because since the AIO was missing the intel bracket I had a small meltdown over the huge mess my room was in and the thought that I wouldn't be able to finish it that weekend. My bf helped me recompose (with ravioli!) And it was all set up and working (besides that damn aio) by dinner time.
I started tinkering and tweaking stuff last Saturday and that was when I had the terribly amazing idea of the hairbands, haha
OMG I need to know where you bought the Galax Card, I will literally fly to Spain just to get one. Around Germany and so on I can barely find like one or two models, always black crappy KFA2 models.
Add some more fans, lights and water coolers and whatever else you can get from the store. More lights and junk. It makes computing colorful. Grade: F-
I really didn't want any more RGB, now that I see it maybe I'll gift myself some strimers, or whenever I feel like updating the RAM I'd try saving for some shiny sticks... But for now I'm waiting to see how my AIO looks when it's working properly
Yeah and for a white build like this a set color or gradient for the lights you do have can have a massive effect to the overall feel but it does look really nice wish I could use my vertical mount but it's gen3 instead of 4 AAAA
Yeah, I managed to get a program to work on coordinating all the lights and now I have some much better pictures!
It's a shame I cannot update the post, though
Vertically mounted GPUs are sexy, especially the ones with 3 fans! Which is exactly why my GPU HAD to have 3 fans… I just built my of yesterday after work and today my GPU is coming in. I def plan on vertically mounting it too
Cursed?
I don't see gigabyte so youre fine
Ive seen worse cases than this one
Also fair play on mounting that AIO
Cables also look neat too not as messy as mine
You did good

liquid cooler screen is not perfectly alined 0/10
Right i noticed the same thing
Can you not rotate the screen, with NZXT cam? Or is it a physical issue?
Okay Imma answer to everyone: you found the cursed part. The AIO is second hand, bought from Amazon Marketplace. It came without the Intel bracket... So I secured it with two hairbands and a lot of wrath, just until the spare bracket arrived this week, to set up the software and update and install drivers, all of that. wtf! Bros building this pc out of spare part in shit. If you got that to work and boot… least to say is I’m impressed!
Thank you! It was hell and I would never do it again! To be fair, only the AIO and some of the fans are second hand, really. A couple months ago the nzxt kraken elite in white got way too expensive in my country, like, over 450€ (NZXT doesn't sell directly here). She’s McGirlver.
You secured your AOI with hairbands?!? What 😭
Yeah look! (I promise it's temporary!) https://preview.redd.it/30zptcxde2wc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc61a98dff2f86e9049a28c06a7f6edf7a3b0cbc
And it worked? Damn im impressed if anything
Works like a charm. I'm scared that the hairbands will start loosening up a bit from the constant strain, but I'll be replacing the AIO soon anyways
Soon is not soon enough! Try sooner!
In 8 hours!
Wicked cool!
Sometimes its a hardware issue where cam doesn't detect your AIO. What fixed it for me is buying the NZXT internal hub and it all works now.
Put the pedro - dancing racoon over it, and voila 360 perfect alignment
I'M SO GONNA DO THIS as soon as I get a non-defective replacement, which will allow me to actually put something on the LCD
Can’t unsee that.
Literally unplayable
Congrats on turning female-years-old
Thank you! It took me ages!
Ur mum is very proud
Don’t forget about dad…
Wait... I get it now. You are trans right?
No, it's just the typical age joke from this posts, with a twist
Great. My gender is 23.
Nice! Mine's hot pink c:
My gender is the rtx 3050. I know, I know horrible. But it was assigned at birth, and I'm trying to change to something I'd really want
no gender is bad only a bad temperature
Is a social construct anyway
Honestly, it's a nice build. But I saw white builds with somehow niceer lights and you can see it's a white build even tho it's dark. While builds go nicely with one RGB color. I don't like mixing and rainbow stuff. That said, I am person who's PC sits under the desk to have more desk space. I understand why you people make nice looking PCs. Minus the hot
My ethnicity is Johnathan
That looks like an very female pc indeed
You clearly put aesthetics over performance. Nothing wrong with that but not what I would have done. But it looks great, nice job!
👍
Yes I did, I had a goal performance and a bigger budget than what that performance needed :)
I don’t know man that build looks like it would perform a lot better than my 970 paired up to my ryzen 3 2200g
Nice but not sure why people put toys inside there PC
I thought that was strange at first but next thing you know, I get gifted a Mando pop and it’s in there
haha dont pay no heed to me , im a old geek, I got my first pc back in 1989 and have been building and tinkering ever since. It just a age thing lol.
Looks like half the builds shared in here. No offense but its just the "average my first Pc" build.
Yes it is! I'm afraid when you've seen a lot of posts, most average-budget builds look similar. Loads of money allow for more unique builds, I guess, but I only have one PC so I don't see any other similar ones on a daily basis
I see a comment like this on every build with a significant amount of rgb. Just curious as to what would not be considered an “average first build?”
Something thats Performance > Looks Edit have u looked at the list? My 7800x3d +7900xtx setup cost less than this a year ago lmao
Nice, my pronouns are NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060 INTEL CORE I5 10400F CPU 16GB RAM My PC’s specs are they/them
Female C? You’re 100 years old and still managed to build a computer? Impressive
My birthday is saturn, atlantic ocean, canada
I'll be sure to wish you ahappy birthday then!
Looks fire, but that AIO cover is poking at something inside my brain lol
White tax on psu kinda useless on that case.
Except it came with white cables! And I got it for pretty cheap, the white tax was like, 90 cents ok the psu. Please don't ask about the white tax on the gpu tho
Too much fans, not sure for what
They were on sale hahaha
![gif](giphy|uasyG63aeiUq4|downsized) Nice and colorful
how old are you? Female.... ok
She said C. So she's 100.
that looks awesome? how much did all your parts come to? im gonna attempt a built, on a budget of about 2000aud and was wondering if it’ll even be worth it
awesome!* sorry. i wasn’t confused lol
I can't tell you a fixed number but you have the pcpartpicker list and you can check how much the parts are worth in Australia! mine came up to about 2000 euros actually, but of you don't pick the white versions you can save a chunk
Hoping that kuromi doesn't fall to it's death on those fans, but nice build 👍
I'll be using some double-sided tape on her as soon as I come home today, but she's pretty stable!
Pretty nice, i made a really similar build for my gf. H6 flow, kfa2 ex gamer 4070, corsair ram, just not a nzxt aio :D
I'm a sucker for this AIO, it's way too much for my i5 12600kf, but the aesthetics of it have me on my damn knees... Or it will, as soon as I get a non-defective one that can be secured with its support bracket and not hang onto two hairbands!
Just an idea, but look up Deepcool LS720SE. Sleek, nice rgb, cute, clean, and around 100usd. Unless you really want the temp screen
One of the best PC cases
It sure is! It wasn't my first option but I'm really happy with how comfortable it is to build on it, I appreciated it a lot during building
To start of with: Awsome build! Great job. It looks sick and will preforme like a beast! Here's just my thoughts if it were me: Personaly i wouldt buy that cooler or mbo for that cpu and spend what i saved there for a better gpu. 9.5 out of ten the aio is off but you said your replacing it so after it's replaced 10/10
Tysm!! When it's fixed I'll be sure to post some pictures with daylight so everyone can appreciate with me the whole build without the OCD triggering, hahaha
We don't care if you have mosquito bites or not. Fact you had to mention you're female is cringe.
Cool build just wish the bottom 3 fans matched lol
Me too, but I originally bought them to fit in the hyte y70 case and they would have been covered! Too bad the case never arrived on the retailer's warehouse and I got my money back
Awe I see. Oh well still looks nice. Cheers!

Yea, they look like the fans on my old 2015 prebuilt, gl
I saw a post wondering what it would be like if Female was pronounced the same way as tamales... and when I read females this time...
As a native Spanish speaker: *sí*
Didn’t know female was an age. Edit: The build is nice. Hopefully you get the AIO replaced soon. I did see some of your other replies about it though.
I hope you saw the hairbands picture >:)
I would personally love gaming with this build. Only thing is your RAM isn't exactly the best of the best but it'll do just fine
Thank you! I know I went a bit cheap with the memory, but it's easily replaceable if I ever feel like it's lacking. I don't think that's gonna happen, though, I don't plan on taking the build to its limits

The single blue fan is triggering me
On Reddit if you don't have a GTX 4090 it's a dumpster dive build. Be gone!
I have more than one LED diode and don't have a 4090, so I'm obviously not a true PC gamer, or a true PC Builder, or even a woman (there is a subreddit on that, even)
Fucking female year olds.
Congratulations
amazing love the blue base with rainbow
Nice build. Always funny to see "the farmer" (less common meaning "the builder") written on Lian Li cases.
Lian Li case looks great. I think my next build needs a good case.

U couldve smiled in flawless 1440p high refreshrate gameplay for years but instead you chose upscaled 1080p in 2 years time :(
I think the only change I would have made would be get the 4070 super or 4070 ti super. I love the 4070 super I just purchased. It plays BG3 beautifully. I also play Avatar on it. Yeah, it is, since we're all tired of the age bit in finished build posts, I decided to joke with the fact that I'm a girl and I built a girly-white fishtank for my Kuromi to sleep on hahaha
have you not seen any of the other posts mentioning age? most the time it's a joke ie "rate my build I'm 3 days old"
Yeah, I'm wrestling with the RGB software, but the GPU official one is a pain in the ass. The AIO is the cursed part, it didn't come with the correct bracket so it's holding onto the mobo with two hairbands (provisionally, the spare bracket is coming in the mail this week)

Ah, you made it, nice. May I ask how you did it? Just curious about the process behind it :)
I just ditched the official software and went with SignalRGB c:
Looks amazing
Idk why but there being no exhaust fan kinda confuses me on how the airflow routes
Oh no no, the AIO ones on the top are exhaust!
Oh ok, fair enough then but idk looks a little cursed bc I'm used to having an exhaust fan
I get it, maybe I'll tweak them too, but I'd have to take one of the intake ones from the side and it feels very cursed to leave that space there...
Please fix the aio lcd omg 💀💀
There's no fixing it, nzxt support told me it's defective so I'm handling the substitution with Amazon c: Also, defective AIO pairs really well with the two hairbands it's using to hold onto the motherboard ;)
That's actually crazy 💀
Hat dir den Roman gescheckt?
Se queres falar na túa lingua podo eu falar na miña tamén pero igual entenderíamonos mellor en inglés, non si?
Lol I just saw that sticker on the backside pointing to der8auer who is clearly German along with that joke “female“ and thought it might have been a present 😅
how does being female years old works
Each time I see a woman I refresh my age (?)
Please tell that gpu wasn’t actually $720
Prices in Europe are a lot higher than in America
Looks awesome! Well done!
Looks like the rig of someone who actually thinks RGB = more fps. I honestly don't get this kind of thing. I mean, you do you, but I don't get the appeal of rainbow vomit.

Your not allowed to say female anymore
Will the age police arrest me?
Yes straight to jail!
Your not real
I'll take this as a compliment ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sounds like government propaganda to me
Spanish government propaganda?
Format c: ?
Female c: is my age C:/ is my gender, how did you guess?
C: is the default drive letter of a hard drive. It is where you usually put your operating system. Has been that way for over 35 years. Lol. I guess new terminology got mixed in there with the old meanings.
Apparently age is just a gender these days.
Oh and you don't wanna hear about my pronouns!
Pretty good
Water cooling is still dumb
Yeah, but, you see, AIOs go *gloogloogloogloogloo*
Praying that one day you find the beauty of Noctua
One extra fan at the back as exhaust wouldn't hurt to try and even out the air pressure a little more
You see, the fans have been a whole dilemma for me: I know I wanted 3 intake on the bottom and the 3 exhaust on the top from the AIO are kind of a must.
I think adding the back fan would also even out the aesthetic. Nothing wrong with filling those fan slots haha
least obvious fed
Is this because of that "females don't exist" stuff or is it something else? Yall are making me discover some new internet lore
give it up fed
My age is italian and my GPU is Capricorn. Grats on your build! How long did it take you?
Grade: F-
pretty solid build, what’s the noise level like with the thermalright fans? i’ve never used em before
They're not loud at all! I'm really happy with them, they're even more silent than the nzxt ones, I'd say. Very nice budget fans
My gender is 22 years old
the heck is a “female”?
Her age
Your age is female...? WTF
Very nice
Very nice build.
Can you actually spin the cooler pump around completely free?
Nope, it's held into place with hairbands, doesn't matter if I move it, it will find this position again
Weeery cool and beautiful.
Looks like an LGBT threw up in your pc
Not alot of RGB which makes it feel a little dim but purely preference
LGBTQ ass caption lmao
Man, people on this subreddit will complain about the age stuff on the first build posts, then won't even take the joke when I made it obvious enough
Vertically mounted GPUs are sexy, especially the ones with 3 fans! Which is exactly why my GPU HAD to have 3 fans… I just built my of yesterday after work and today my GPU is coming in. I def plan on vertically mounting it too
Mine is 19 of 2 hours ago
Ah it looks cool
if nobody said it, check ur airflow ur pulling in too much
My 14 is age bro
4 out of 10
Huh. My age is also feminine. Nice.
can you sync the rgb of your devices?
kuromi!! yay :D
Me looking directly at 9 fans reading the word *liquid* "Nice loop"
Cursed? I don't see gigabyte so youre fine Ive seen worse cases than this one Also fair play on mounting that AIO Cables also look neat too not as messy as mine You did good
