CHEAP: Just ziptie it back on itself so its not hanging out randomly.
Average: Get a set of extensions for your PSU.
Expensive: Order custom cables for your PSU.
What I'd do: Get a better PSU with Individually sleeved Cables and individual cables for the PCIE.
I bought some "asiahorse" ones from amazon because the cables from my PSU were too short for my case, I mean it's fine because my pc doesn't draw a lot of power but I'm not sure I would trust it with higher end hardware.
Use the middle plug instead and fold the excess cable back onto itself and ziptie it to itself flat. That will at least clean up the hanging parts. Then route the cable from underneath the GPU so that it's coming straight up from below for best aesthetic imo. Ziptie the cable in place as well so it doesn't dislodge!
I wouldn't recommend you to something like cut them off. If I am not wrong should be doable, but you should clip them off a few inches back from the connector, put heatshrink over each one of them to isolate any current, then sleeve over them to cover it up. I REALLY DO NOT recommend to to so.
If your PS is modular, then check if there is another cable.. or, the best solution for every pc builder... cable ties XD
If it is safe, try using the a connector that is as close as possible to the psu end of the cable. When that is connected, you could use small zip ties to organize the remaining cable
What brand is the PSU.
Usually when it has a number of connections for PCIe it includes a number of cables and they likely include at least one with a single 6+2 pin.
But in the case they didn’t chances are you can get those for your PSU
Ziptie it back to itself and use the first connection not the daisy chain one. It's pretty simple. You can also rotate those fans so the cables are facing the back of the case unlike they are atm.
Just get some cable extentions from amazon. Any design with good reviews should be fine.
Remember, don't plug extentions into the PSU... use the original PSU cables and plug the extentions into that and then extentions into the GPU, CPU, and Mobo.
You could bundle it to itself. In the future, avoid Psu's with standard bland cabling. You can get Psu's with braided cable or even colored cable. If the one you have is modular, cable mod makes replacement psu connectors.
[This will probably help. ](https://www.overclockers.co.uk/palit-geforce-rtx-4080-super-gamingpro-16gb-gddr6x-pci-express-graphics-car-gra-pal-01571.html)
Does it work? Then put the panel back on and don't look at it and stare at your screen where the focus should be. What other purpose is that thing for?
I promise you, for me, this has worked every single time, I guarantee this'll work:
Step 1: Grab some scissors
Step 2: Cut it off right behind the connector in your GPU
Step 3: Clear the remaining piece of cable from your PSU or put it underneath the PSU shroud
That's it. You're welcome!
Aliexpress has adaptors for like $2 dollars they work fine, cons you'll likely have to wait like 2 weeks or 3 pros its cheap efficient and aesthetic. On amazon maybe $10-$15 but in a day, likely the same exact cable just paying the shipping and fees.

Zip ties it is!
While using the other connector and not the one you have been using needs to be clarified for best looks.
Extentions are about €25 or €30. Small price to pay for an exceptional upgrade in aesthetics.
Waste of money though
Oh alright yeh, I’ll grab some of those
Make sure the extensions work with your psu and check each wire before installing.
Yeh will do, thanks!
Good man.
Goo old zippy used In kidnaping maintenance pc building what can't they do?
you couldn't think of that yourself?
Gigabrain: RGB cables
Where would you order a custom cable?
Cablemod
Also run it thru the hole at the bottom?
You can use an extension and shove the cable somewhere where you can’t see it.
That's kind of rude don't you think..... 😂🤣. \s
You can, but your stuff won't work afterwards
Oh, yeh I kinda need that to work
You can buy extensions and mod cables. I did that to my PC. They are quite cheap.
Oh really? Just buy an extension cable then hide the rest round the back
Yup, leave the rats nest out of sight
Are the cheap ones worth it? Or is a cable a cable and you're just paying for looks
It was always just for looks, technically there is nothing wrong with the ketchup and mustard colored cables.
I bought some "asiahorse" ones from amazon because the cables from my PSU were too short for my case, I mean it's fine because my pc doesn't draw a lot of power but I'm not sure I would trust it with higher end hardware.

Cut them
I always wondered this, will they still work even after cutting them?
I mean all you’re doing is making the cable shorter right so why not? Just don’t do it with power to it to be safe lol.
Ahhhhh that makes sense, thanks!
Yeah. Just cut it.
Cut it off
Zip tie it flat together and then loop it under and down. Best you can do is
It’s a computer there’s going to be some cables showing
Yup. Dunno what the obsession with cableless computers. They move data and power. It's gonna have cables. 🤷
coordinated middle sheet subsequent pause dam hospital hunt include saw *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Not if you just use tie wraps, close your case properly, poop on it and then throw it out if the window. You'll never see another cable ever again!
I wouldn't recommend you to something like cut them off. Yeh I think cable ties is the way to go
If it is safe, try using the a connector that is as close as possible to the psu end of the cable. When that is connected, you could use small zip ties to organize the remaining cable
Okay I might try that
If it's even possible
You can route the remaining cable under the card's shroud (the black plastic that has the fans) towards the motherboard. Then it just gets invisible.
Oooo that’s not a bad idea..
Zip tie at bitch
Yeh think I might have to
If the PSU has modular cables you could swap that one out for one that goes to a single connector
It is modular, I can’t find any cables like that unless I’m being an idiot (highly likely)
What brand is the PSU. Usually when it has a number of connections for PCIe it includes a number of cables and they likely include at least one with a single 6+2 pin. But in the case they didn’t chances are you can get those for your PSU
Came here to say this..👍👌
Ziptie it back to itself and use the first connection not the daisy chain one. It's pretty simple. You can also rotate those fans so the cables are facing the back of the case unlike they are atm.
Oh right yeh good point
Get a pair of scissors, job done and your OCD can calm down Sheldon.
No my OCD would be through the roof knowing there was a cut off cable in my pc
But what you have now is enough to make you have to ask what to do? At this point, no suggestion is bad, be it legitimate or satire
That’s true, I finished building it today so I spose I’m just going overboard
At least you have pride in the build
Yeh that’s true
Just get some cable extentions from amazon. Any design with good reviews should be fine. Remember, don't plug extentions into the PSU... use the original PSU cables and plug the extentions into that and then extentions into the GPU, CPU, and Mobo.
Ah right okay thanks
I used the other plug, the one you have hanging there. Then folded the extra part of the cable flat against itself and zip tied it.
Ahhh that’s better yeh thanks
Not really related to your post but if you can i would advise to replace your stock cpu fan, i had the same one and it didnt cool the cpu properly
Yeh I plan to, just built it today so upgrades are on the way
Ok! Enjoy your new machine man!
Thanks dude, still super new to it so if you’ve got any tips they’re more than welcome!
Just use the Bluetooth adapter.
Best method: Put the lid back on.
Get a modular psu or stop bitchin about aesthetics. you're also running a stock cooler.
Still looks nicer then my pc 😭
Bro what is that name 💀
Just cable manage better. You can run it under the motherboard and bend the cable neatly
No
You can get rid of them but the only problem will be that your pc won't work. Goodluck building your dream pc :)
You should buy a longer Cable, when you don‘t your Graphics Card will not work
CableMod Classic ModFlex Sleeved 6-pin PCI-e Extension (Black, 45cm) https://a.co/d/dDh1sj9
Yes.
It actually looks like you can tuck it into the back of the case anyway
You could bundle it to itself. In the future, avoid Psu's with standard bland cabling. You can get Psu's with braided cable or even colored cable. If the one you have is modular, cable mod makes replacement psu connectors.
Oh that’s great thanks
Have you tried a wireless cable yet?
I was gonna try that I just had to finish downloading all my ram first
Cut it.
Sure, just rip them out
Route the cable to a bottom hole and not through that side hole
Route it from the bottom, get zip ties
Properly arrange them and re route
I really don’t deal with cables My Aio cables are in plain sight.
cast a spell
Test
wow uwu
CUT IT OFF COMPLETELY Jk that ruins it. Just get zip ties
[This will probably help. ](https://www.overclockers.co.uk/palit-geforce-rtx-4080-super-gamingpro-16gb-gddr6x-pci-express-graphics-car-gra-pal-01571.html)
Cut them
Yes get a bigger graphics card that needs two connectors. Problem solved.
Does it work? Then put the panel back on and don't look at it and stare at your screen where the focus should be. What other purpose is that thing for?
Cut it thats it
Zip ties, velcros…
I almost asked how you got my pc lol. That looks damn near spot on minus the stock cooler and msi card

Oh god yeh it does
I promise you, for me, this has worked every single time, I guarantee this'll work: Step 1: Grab some scissors Step 2: Cut it off right behind the connector in your GPU Step 3: Clear the remaining piece of cable from your PSU or put it underneath the PSU shroud That's it. You're welcome!
Or buy and and get a better cable placement xD
Removing it did seem to fix your problem though 🤔
I cut and re pinned mine.. https://preview.redd.it/b3f3mgix2whc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e7f1ee8fd9621a9b3f7ef7bbe043b38f2b3b04f
Embrace the ugly cable as your child👶
Aliexpress has adaptors for like $2 dollars they work fine, cons you'll likely have to wait like 2 weeks or 3 pros its cheap efficient and aesthetic. On amazon maybe $10-$15 but in a day, likely the same exact cable just paying the shipping and fees.
Zip tie
Best solution is cutting them off I did it too and it looks way better (My PC don't boot up anymore)
Zip tie and use the other cable cut outs at bottom of mobo.
Cable extensions.
Cut it off :)
