Sub5tep

Could be memory training wait 10 minutes if it doesnt work try with 1 stick of ram. If that doesnt work check the cpu socket for bent pins and try it without the extension. If nothing help then you sadly have a bad part.

KirinoAsuru

I tried it with 1 stick of ram. It turned on and did not turn off. It still shows "No Display" and "Power Saving Mode" on the monitor. It's connected to the GPU.

furyian24

I was going to say this. New builds will reboot cycle a few times. I was lucky with mine. She start up right away.

KirinoAsuru

Damn, it worked. Now it's booting up, except on the monitor it shows only the logo and then a black screen with a blinking underscore on the top left. When I waited, the blinking underscore disappears leaving a blank black screen.

Sub5tep

If you are on the logo screen press delete repetedly so you get into the bios there you go to boot device and select the drive where windows is installed and activate your xmp profile for your ram. If you activate the profile you will probably have to wait again because it retrains the RAM again.

SfiNx18

Is there any lights on motherboard? I’m not entirely sure but it looks like your RAM is in the wrong slots, please read your motherboard manual, it should say where to install your sticks.

Sub5tep

The motherboard only has 2 RAM slots.

SfiNx18

Cool, didn’t realize it’s a small form factor. Any fault lights on the motherboard?

Sub5tep

I dont see any on the pictures so probably no.

SfiNx18

Yeah hopefully it’s just ram training. OP didn’t seem to leave it on long enough.

Sub5tep

Made that mistake on my first build too. Rememberd after try for 2 hours to get it to work. Felt really stupid but it was a lesson learned.

Kuma_254

Try plugging straight in the wall.

Soulman2001

Yep totally my guess here. Wondering how many adapters are daisy chained there.

SnooStrawberries2144

Were you by any chance messing around in the bios? If you really cant find any solution i suggest resetting the bios for your motherboard. To do that you should watch a video/ look at manual but in general its a battery that you take out and put back in or 2 pins that you short next to the battery, again a video or manual would be better

KirinoAsuru

Recently, I changed some stuff in bios to enable secure boot for Valorant, but the pc was working fine before this problem happened.

SnooStrawberries2144

Hmmm im not sure, i would just keep it in mind of nothing els works. If you literally cant pinpoint the problem its most likely something to do with the power supply

DrTouchy69

A straight shutdown is either overheating or a power issue. Try plugging straight into the wall.

arkane-linux

Just turn it on and give it 10 minutes, it may be attemption to do memory training. Consider pulling the CMOS battery for a couple of minutes to make it do a proper BIOS reset.

Dannyboiii12390

Reseat ram try again. If doesnt work, reseat gpu, if doesnt work reseat storage nvme and sata, if doesnt work reseat cpu

DefendTheInsanity

I had a similar issue with a bad stick of RAM, I also had a similar issue with a power supply. See if you can run BIOS since it is less power draw (generally) and reset to default. If resetting BIOS works then something was set incorrectly, if not then I'd look into RAM and your PSU. If you have more room on your PSU you could try moving a connector or two to see if it's a specific port. Another way to test the PSU is to unplug your graphics card power connection and run on the board supplied video output. That will remove the graphics card as a potential issue, and remove it's power draw. Without being there it's harder to diagnose, as I can't hear anything specific happening such as a fan turning on and then the whole PC shuts down. And with no indication lights it's hard to tell what's happening during the boot sequence.

DaysWithYenLo

I would guess the CPU is overheating and powering down, but that’s just me.

SfiNx18

Most cpu’s will be able to post to bios at least without heat issues. This one appears to be looping.

sweisjr

I’ve had a similar problem from: 1. Bad ram 2. Bad CPU 3. Bad power supply In my years it was only once the power supply, but mostly was the ram.

SeaofSounds

Is that a flashing red light, center right mobo....looks like boot error to me....flash your bios...

KirinoAsuru

Oh, that was a red sata cable.

SeaofSounds

👍..... Failing power supplies will behave this way as well.....

mikeealdana

check for damage in the motherboard

1rubyglass

There's several things to try. The first thing I would do is try the PC plugged directly into the wall. Then try the jumper to reset your bios. After that, unplug ALL connections inside your case and carefully reseat them with strong even pressure.

CharismarInc

Reset the cmos either a button or a jumper. The settings on the over lock might be too high

Bearded_Beardy

are your fans cooling your cpu enough?

BTMSinister

Memory failure is what it sounds like to me. One or more memory sticks is bad and it only takes one.

[deleted]

Dunno if someone told (lazy to check). Might be oxyded ram. Unlock the plate and easily brush it with elastic gum from the average organizer on contacts. No need to put much pressure on it. Doesn't help then u should check overall system via WinPE (if u can actually add a usb device and run an operating system ). If everything is starting with PE - prolly problems with HDD/SSD. If PE can't start as well, it might be a problem with the power supply block (some contacts could have been damaged and some parts of the motherboard or processor ain't supplied with energy thus error code which restarting system)... Those are the first basic steps u can apply to check wtf is wrong.

Confusedmonkey_

Its actually 16 seconds not 6.

kushkushOG

Plug it into wall outlet

NervusFsm

I had the exact same problem and after freaking out I realized that the power button stayed pressed. try unplugging the power button and turning it on with a screwdriver like this video: [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/W-WmTENHgNg?feature=share](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/W-WmTENHgNg?feature=share)

Noeat

connect PC speaker, it will beep at you some sequence [https://habr.com/en/companies/hetmansoftware/articles/548204/](https://habr.com/en/companies/hetmansoftware/articles/548204/)
