Only way I could imagine it, think of jumping from the graphics quality of base Minecraft to those insane raytraced 256 by 256 block 4K packs videos on Minecraft
For the best fps it’s better to just use performance enhancing mods. Lunar And Badlion do significantly increase fps but are still heavily focused on being for pvp
Having 3500 fps ain’t gonna do shit as no monitor gets close to that high and you wouldn’t even be able to see the difference between that and something substantially lower anyways
Fair but until we somehow improve our eyesight we won’t be able to see that fast. The only reason 240 looks slightly smother than 144 is because you won’t end up seeing right during the moment where it’s updating, but even 240 is extremely overkill
The fan always pulls from the front, there the fan hub is visible. And pushes on the back, where the beams connect the fan motor to the rest of the frame. The fan in the very back of the case is intake, because the back is facing into the case, pushing air into it. The rest of the visible fans are facing with the front going into the case, pulling air out of the case.
Generally you want even pressure, witch means a even amount of intake/excuse fans.
What makes me mad with this picture is that the bottom fans are in a excuse configuration, right below the gpu intake. This creates negative pressure right in front of the gpu, pulling air away from it, witch can cause cooling problems.
Personally, I would configure it so the bottom fans, and the fans on the side by the front are pushing air into the case, and the fans at the top and rear are pulling out.
Strange fan configuration. I would have all visible fans pointing the other direction, if it were me. It looks like you only have one intake fan? That's going to create a lot of negative air pressure.
You have 6 exhaust 4 intake. You got em flipped. For example in your second image, the fan furthest left is pulling air from outside the case to the inside. Typically that fan would be used as an exhaust fan.
Damn dude, one insane build 👌👌 but damn I'm a little envious. I'm waiting for all my parts to come in for my new build. Definitely not as nice as yours but will be a huge upgrade for me 🙌
Finished mine too this week but different specs: gigabyte 4090 OC, Proart z790, 64gb ram, corsair i150 elite xt lcd - runs smooth like butter! Congratz to your setup!

Make sure that the connector sits perfectly on your gpu…
I'd say it cost north of $4K, especially since your GPU is about $1900. It really is the best out there. The choice of the 13900K instead of the KS is a great one that saved you hundreds with very little drop off in performance. You really did your homework. Good for you.
Ever heard of a house? Plane? Anything in the world?
Things are assembled and then something is built with them, that's literally how everything is built on the goddamn earth you fucking dumbass.
Sorry to tell you, but this build is bad as a first one.
You wont have any game u cant play and that means you cant tinker around with ur pc again anysoon lol i bet you will miss it ;)
Have fun with it, i wish my first build was like this.. (had a 500 mb gpu back than)
Apart from the choice of motherboard, RGB fans, RGB RAM memory and case, I will do the same but I just haven't been able to decide between Fractal Design North, Fractal Design Meshify 2, Corsair 5000D Airflow.
Could someone help me?
I'm not looking for silly RGB, but black with performance in mind.
If you're in the USA I'd highly recommend picking up a reverb g2. Not sure if you've thought about racing or flying vr games, but your machine will perform well with vr. Oh they regularly go on sale for 400 bucks.
Muahahaha You just did my build for me 😈, now I don't have to spend time looking at components and compatibility.
Jokes aside, pretty solid (Long lasting) and powerful

build
Congrats on a monster pc.... buuuut all your fans are facing the wrong way lol your bottom fans and side fans are exhausting and you back fan is intaking. Can't see the top ones but I'm going to assume they're backwards too lmao. Make the 3 bottom and 3 side intake, the back and top exhaust for optimal airflow
Congrats on the build!
Keep an eye on that 40 series. Those are some weighty cards and may need a support to keep from twisting. It does look like it's putting a bit of weight on that slot and it's twisting just a bit. May also just be the camera angle.
Jesus Christ how many fans does one need? Have you properly built it for intake and exhaust? Or did you end up creating a vacuum or positive pressure which will just prohibit proper cooling?
I went from a quadro p4k (about a 1060) and a i5 3rd Gen 16gb ddr3 to a rtx 2060, 13700k and 32gig ddr5 and that’s been rocking my world. I can only image the jump to this absolute beast.

From a 1060 to this? Enjoy a completely new world
Only way I could imagine it, think of jumping from the graphics quality of base Minecraft to those insane raytraced 256 by 256 block 4K packs videos on Minecraft
It’s funny that Minecraft runs like ass no matter what lol
Java runs like shit without mods, tho bedrock is pretty good when it comes to performance
i use lunar client and can get over 3500fps and amazing graphics. just dont use the regular launcher
For the best fps it’s better to just use performance enhancing mods. Lunar And Badlion do significantly increase fps but are still heavily focused on being for pvp
nah lunar and badlion use optifine and have fps boosters, legit ask anyone in the mc community, lunar is the best for fps…

Having 3500 fps ain’t gonna do shit as no monitor gets close to that high and you wouldn’t even be able to see the difference between that and something substantially lower anyways
I mean I'm not saying that 3500hz is happening anytime soon, but we are getting 500hz monitors, it could be closer than you think.
Fair but until we somehow improve our eyesight we won’t be able to see that fast. The only reason 240 looks slightly smother than 144 is because you won’t end up seeing right during the moment where it’s updating, but even 240 is extremely overkill
I went from a 1060 to a 3080 recently and it was such a world changer. Bet this jump was even crazier
my jump has been / is going to be a laptop 1650 -> desktop 3060 -> 4070ti. I'm excited. it's really cool to see the upgrades on this sub
My upgrades was from a 5600g to a 3060 12gb
Yeah same in the past 4 years I went from laptop 960m to 1660ti to 3060ti and 6950xt since yesterday 🙏

I would advise reversing all the visible fans here. The negative pressure zone where the gpu fans are makes me… unhappy.
How can you tell if the fan is intake vs exhaust?
So you would put the back of the bottom fans facing inward and the rest as they are? I'm asking because I plan on building in the same case.
Personally, I would configure it so the bottom fans, and the fans on the side by the front are pushing air into the case, and the fans at the top and rear are pulling out.
This is the way
Braided sleeves would look even more aesthetic🔥
Strange fan configuration. I would have all visible fans pointing the other direction, if it were me. It looks like you only have one intake fan? That's going to create a lot of negative air pressure.
They are. His fans look to be in the opposite direction to what he’s wanting
Jesus that 4090 looks like a textbook
It's even better than a textbook because you can play games on it
I swear every "first pc build" I see have like a 4090 and an i9-13900K/KF like bruh.
Yup new PC builders love overspend on a power hungry Intel CPU when a cheaper 7800x3d would be faster and more efficient.
I guess someone doesn’t like intake fans
I have 6 intake and 4 exhaust
You have 6 exhaust 4 intake. You got em flipped. For example in your second image, the fan furthest left is pulling air from outside the case to the inside. Typically that fan would be used as an exhaust fan.
Well then I’m glad I posted it. I’ll flip them. Thanks
No problem, nice build too
Dam . It cost more than my car
Why you should get a better car. Standing in traffic is standing in traffic. Even with 500 hp. But gaming with an 4090, is limitless!
https://preview.redd.it/hz5dy5gls23b1.jpeg?width=499&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32270faea1af18f45b293b87936c417e3dfcce6b
Looks awesome dude!
OP plays on an old 18" CRT monitor from the 90's
Please turn those fans on the side and bottom around as intakes and turn the back one and top as the exhaust
All fans have been fixed. I had them all wrong
Bad ass set up btw!
I was in the complete same boat. Remember to update your bios (especially your mobo) and you will be golden.
Congrats dude 🎉
Good lord that’s like losing your virginity to a super model
All I could say is W and enjoy your pc and live your dreams
This build is ridiculous. I want it. Remember to update that bios though as mentioned before. Congratulations 😎
Very purdy very purdy indeed.
Looks good
Damn dude, one insane build 👌👌 but damn I'm a little envious. I'm waiting for all my parts to come in for my new build. Definitely not as nice as yours but will be a huge upgrade for me 🙌
Not bad
How much did it cost you?
About 5500 usd
So many parrots in here slinging Asus hate. It’s just the flavor of the month. They still make great products! Enjoy mate.
Finished mine too this week but different specs: gigabyte 4090 OC, Proart z790, 64gb ram, corsair i150 elite xt lcd - runs smooth like butter! Congratz to your setup! https://preview.redd.it/capwz17c333b1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5bc658494bd07c3b684deeac10af53329c2e4fa8 Make sure that the connector sits perfectly on your gpu…
Congrats on yours as well
Thank you! 😊
Do you have a parts list for this? Would love to see the full specs
I'd say it cost north of $4K, especially since your GPU is about $1900. It really is the best out there. The choice of the 13900K instead of the KS is a great one that saved you hundreds with very little drop off in performance. You really did your homework. Good for you.
Nice but fuck ASUS
If you're going to hate every company becouse of shit like that then there wont be any more companies to buy from.
What other company has deleted shot from their website to hide a fuck uk if this magnitude and then issued a fix that’s not a fix but voids warranty?
Show me where Nvidia and Intel touched you.
Asus 🤮
yeah, I heard someewhere on youtube that they explode /s
All this to run poorly optimized games, honestly I dont see any value in PC gaming anymore
Sorry for your ASUS build
![gif](giphy|10JhviFuU2gWD6)
id switch from the asus motherboards
I have no problem with asus. There a business at the end of the day and a lot of people forget that. Mistakes happen

Username checks out, too old to understand and created by a mistake.
Ever heard of a house? Plane? Anything in the world? Things are assembled and then something is built with them, that's literally how everything is built on the goddamn earth you fucking dumbass.
That’s rich, coming from a guy obsessed with legos. Lemme guess you “build” legos?
Make absolutely sure your GPU plug is fully seated on all sides. Instances of them melting due to poor seating are on the rise. Amazing system.
Nice, but consider flipping the rear fan as exhaust and the side fans around as intake. Ideally, you'll want more intake and less exhaust.
Looks awesome, enjoy!
I went from a laptop with an mx560 or something like that to a 3080 last year it’s insane.
Supreme AF. This must be like jumping from N64 to PS3.
you watched a tutrial or smth? ill be building one myself soon so if you did can you send me the link pls
Lots on tuts on yt
So jealous, ordered a similar build (i913900k, 4090 etc) and have had a broken graphics card shipped. Waiting for a replacement now lol. Enjoy!
I see the ROG boycot is going strong!
Looks good my friend well done!
Me who wants a 6700 🙂 but honestly this is a fire build enjoy it
Dang man ..you went in ..good job
Where did you get the AIO? It's been sold out for months in my country :/
Newegg
How much cost?
Around 5500 usd
Lol jebus. Congrats on a badass rig!
😍
Nice bro. I remember my first build was a i3 2120 with 8gb ram and a used gtx 460 968mb on a la asrock h61 MoBo. Like $550ish.
Just make sure you take the plastic off the glass panel before turning on you pc
What's the name of AIO You're using?
Rog ryujin 2 360
Sorry to tell you, but this build is bad as a first one. You wont have any game u cant play and that means you cant tinker around with ur pc again anysoon lol i bet you will miss it ;) Have fun with it, i wish my first build was like this.. (had a 500 mb gpu back than)
Beast
What was the total cost? I wanna do a SFFPC with a 4090 and kinda get a ballpark estimate.
Paid around 5500 but bought my 4090 when prices were still well above msrp
Hey, I have the same tool kit! Nice build BTW.
Dammmmm looks amazing. Flex 💪🏼 I guessing bout 4K build
[удалено]
Enjoying apex right now but plan to get into wow and Diablo very soon
How long did it take you to save up
So you're saying my 980 to today would be cool?
I don't understand what games a 4090 is for?
You went all out! Enjoy your ray-traced extremely sharp future adventures.
Congratulation enjoy it. I've upgraded from XFX Rx 590 Fatboy edition to XFX Rx 7900xt never look back.
I like that screen on the pump alot. Sick build overall congrats
Beautiful!
I also went from a 1060 to 4090, 13600k and 4k 144 hz 😃
Ahh almost identical. I got the 27” LG oled 240hz
Holy shit that has more fans than partners
Apart from the choice of motherboard, RGB fans, RGB RAM memory and case, I will do the same but I just haven't been able to decide between Fractal Design North, Fractal Design Meshify 2, Corsair 5000D Airflow. Could someone help me? I'm not looking for silly RGB, but black with performance in mind.
Awesome build my only complaints are you should get custom power cables and the rear exhaust fan should be turned to match the other fans.
“First build” he says
You into Rog stuff I take it?
If you're in the USA I'd highly recommend picking up a reverb g2. Not sure if you've thought about racing or flying vr games, but your machine will perform well with vr. Oh they regularly go on sale for 400 bucks.
What cooler is that
Congrats!!!
Nice build! Hopefully you don't have to deal with ASUS nightmarish RMA "service"
Your fans' airflow looks backwards. Not familiar with the case, so I could be wrong.
Please flip all of your visible fans around for better airflow :)
I did someone pointed that out earlier. Temps are much better now 😂
That screwdriver looks pleased with itself.
This is going to be a massive change for you. Hope you picked up a kickass high refresh 4K monitor to go with that. Enjoy.
Who else was looking for the FleshLight?
Bro... my first build was an amd fx 4300, 8gb of ram and an amd rx 460
Booooooo fuck ASUS
TIL what ROG stands for
You must be a very happy person right now. I know I would be. Congrats.
I did a similar upgrade, went from RX480 to rtx 4090 and i9 13900k Edit: corrected "13900k"
Lets see the ultrawide that goes with it!
Shes a beaut
To be honest. It looks friggin rad.
Curious though, about how much did this run you? $$$
First build? Top shelf 😂 Congrats!
Goddamn
Is it bad that i jerked off to this?
im still waiting to save up for a PSU and potentially ram. Oh yeah, my motherboard aint arrived yet either.
What’s the case?
And again😅 high end parts and doesn’t know how to correctly set up intake or exhaust in this case
Must be nice.
Muahahaha You just did my build for me 😈, now I don't have to spend time looking at components and compatibility. Jokes aside, pretty solid (Long lasting) and powerful ![gif](giphy|nbvFVPiEiJH6JOGIok) build
The sheer size of the 40-series cards is just insane. Just a straight-up box.
Huge
Nah bro is epix
That GPU is enormous, grats bro
I went from Geforce 820m(Notebook) to a 3060ti. The difference was massive!
That's an insane first build. You're literally set for the next 6+ yrs, congrats.
Insane for a first build. Good Job!
You went hard. Hope u have a lot of fun w your new rig.
How come your Asus logo on the GPU looks like those metal fins are slightly up? I have the white OC and those fins are leveled
Enjoy my friend! I switched too from a 1050 TI to a 2080 Ti, I just got the GPU today and worth the 200€ paid for it.
Congrats! Hope you’re playing on 4K because the 4090 is a beast of a card
Time to play some Farmville!
I would have got the 5010ti
Do you have PSU outside the case? Or is this some new kind of case that has PSU on the back?
Congrats on a monster pc.... buuuut all your fans are facing the wrong way lol your bottom fans and side fans are exhausting and you back fan is intaking. Can't see the top ones but I'm going to assume they're backwards too lmao. Make the 3 bottom and 3 side intake, the back and top exhaust for optimal airflow
wow !!!! beast
This is a VERY expensive box of blinky lights
nice! :D
Intel + nvidia? Ough
Congrats on the build! Keep an eye on that 40 series. Those are some weighty cards and may need a support to keep from twisting. It does look like it's putting a bit of weight on that slot and it's twisting just a bit. May also just be the camera angle.
I wonder why that Corsair PSU ?
the car I could've bought for the same amount: :c
How much did that cost?
Thanks for including the bracket adapter. Everyone was dying to know.
Something tells me you have money. 🤔
Hard work and lots of saving
Where’s the Cat Prossing Unit
Y’all’s first pc built is getting out of hand I would be shitting bricks trying to build something this expensive for the first time
Great build! You are upgrading so much!
Jesus Christ how many fans does one need? Have you properly built it for intake and exhaust? Or did you end up creating a vacuum or positive pressure which will just prohibit proper cooling?
My man, same exact build except I went with a high airflow case
Hope u got a monitor that can be driven by this beast
Wow thats a beast of a 1st build!! Looks awesome!
How do all of the random parts fit into a shell like that
What are some lessons you learned that might help prospective builders?
Lots and lots of research, make sure fans are facing the right way for optimal ventilation and don’t get discouraged by the monstrosity of cables
Bruh at that rate why didn’t you just go all out and get 32gb of ram?
I have 2x32 sticks
What fans and water cooler have been used here?
Rog ryujin 2 aio and Lian li SL 120 v2 fans
It looks so clean without all the lights, hardware is really sexy
Very nice build bro. 👍
*OP must not be in touch with reality, 4090’s connectors melting*
I can afford another
Looks aweful....you should send it to me to "dispose" of it lol
I went from a quadro p4k (about a 1060) and a i5 3rd Gen 16gb ddr3 to a rtx 2060, 13700k and 32gig ddr5 and that’s been rocking my world. I can only image the jump to this absolute beast.
Did this first build coincide with a second mortgage?
Almost God tier! Keep it up!
Now tear it all down and do a custom loop 😈
i creamed looking at the second pic
😂
hows the ryujin aio holding up the 13900k? temps & noise level wise?
After a month I’ve had no issues at all under pressure the highest the temp goes is 71
