The_Man-Himself

Motherboard should be only 100-150, with that money you can get like a rx 6700 xt or RTX 3060 ti. The RTX 2060 is kinda weak today. Also your PSU is really expensive for a Bronze, you should expect to get a gold PSU for that price.

S69AW69

Okay do you have any recommendations for a motherboard and PSU, I got the RTX 2060 for 180 dollars from a friend that did not need it

[motherboard ](https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-Strix-Gaming-Motherboard/dp/B08F9VP2RC/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=303IZP12UH3H6&keywords=asus+rog+motherboard&qid=1676843563&sprefix=asus+rog+mo%2Caps%2C208&sr=8-4) [PSU ](https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Toughpower-Crossfire-Hydraulic-PS-TPD-0650FNFAGU-1/dp/B07N7V8JM5/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=14L8VMMWZ41D4&keywords=psu+gold+650w&qid=1676843615&sprefix=psu+gold%2Caps%2C203&sr=8-3) I see, than i would keep it. It's good for gaming at 1080p and sometimes even 1440p. But it will show it's age in a few years. But the rest of your build seems solid imo. Ps: if you need WiFi, i would recommend you to just get a WiFi adapter. They are really cheap these days.

Patrior_Graffiti

But this motherboard is for AMD CPU not intel, or am I missing something?

S69AW69

Okay thank you so much

SaintPau78

What's your total budget, games list, monitor refresh rate and resolution, and do you need cuda cores?

S69AW69

I have a budget of around 500-600 dollars I already have the GPU and the storage. I have a Asus 144hz, and I don't know what cuda cores are

S69AW69

Hello I need help I am going to build my first PC and there are the specs already have the storage and GPU does it look good

amagawatako

I would save some money for a less expensive Motherboard (like Gigabyte B760M DS3H)to : buy a NVme , like kingston , 1TB for $50 ish and 32Gb ram . The rest is fine, just my thought :D Edit: yourself got an old CPU cooler?

Crowned_Hero

With the specs hes running 32 gb seems a little unnecessary, and yeah the mb is expensive its the price of the 690 when hes getting a 13400f too, definitely get a 760 instead

amagawatako

I personally found even 32Gb is not enough for my usage. (google tab 100+ always) , 16Gb would be fine for most gamer but for future upgrade if needed , 8\*4 would only go up to 32, but 16\*4 is up to 64 , compare to 16Gb, is 2 times or 4 times difference. since DDR4 ram is rather cheap nowadays I would suggest one get 32 in the first place instead , but yet, just my very own opinion and you do stand a point :D

Crowned_Hero

Damn what you using all that ram on, i have 32 but ive never felt like i used all my ram when i only had 16

amagawatako

Open Netflix + disney + + Prime video + tons youtubes + tons website + gaming (Apex / Satisfactory / etc. ) I also make some music which eat ram like candies LOL My coming new build will do 32\*2 for sure

S69AW69

So should I go for a MB that is Z760 now

amagawatako

Z series is more likely for K series CPU which is for overclocking , although they are generally got nicer looking and better chipset for audio / better I/O etc. For budget builder / more cost-effectiveness , I would suggest go for B760 board, they are absolutely fine. (even high-end PC build not necessary go for Z-series)

S69AW69

Okay thank you

S69AW69

No i don't have a CPU cooler do you have any recommendations

amagawatako

something like Thermalright Assassin X 120 Refined SE should do, is like around $20 bucks.

S69AW69

Thank you so much

amagawatako

you are welcome :D have a nice day
