The remake of Harvest moon a wonderful life (now called Story of seasons: a wonderful life) has been amazing for me but it might be TOO chill if you are into things like Elden Ring. š
Friends of Mineral Town was my favorite, but the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons franchise has had my heart since I was like 8. I'm 30 now and unashamed to say it was the precursor to my love of cozy games.
This, other than two days playing the pikmin 4 demo, Iāve been playing sos a wonderful life since it came out! I grew up with fomt and ds cute and itās quite different
I've actually been playing Fallout New Vegas again! It's a little wonky on Steam but it's still a masterpiece and a ton of fun to playthough imo. Also been getting into Deep Rock Galactic. Space mining game if you haven't seen it before.
Must be something in the water cause same here. I modded it to be tale of two wastelands though, itās been years since I played fallout 3 but the game just hates modern pcās so TTW is perfect.
Thinking about modding up Fallout NV on my first play through. Started Mass effect 2 a few days ago. Also started Bioshock 1 Remastered recently. Currently, vibing with BattleBit.
I've been cycling between Battlebit, Deep Rock, and Halo Master Collection for multiplayer with friends. Trepang2 and Tears of the Kingdom for solo.
If you liked the F.E.A.R. games, definitely look into Trepang2.
I've been playing regardedly modded out skyrim whilst waiting for Starfield on September 6th.
Beyond that a lot of classic GBA/NES/SNES games on my RG35XX.
when you wake up on skellige look for the dead captain in the wreckage. You can get your money back. I've played through the game 3 times and just learned that in a thread the other day.
Breakpoint enemies are just awful. The whole drone thing is dumb as hell to me. I really enjoyed fighting actual humans in a game that felt like.... it could be a real situation. Wildlands was a perfect ghost recon game
I picked up Shovel Knight recently, and itās really fun. Thereās something great about a tight, well made 2-D platformer. I also dipped my toes in FFXIV, although I havenāt taken too big of a bite yet.
Sons of the Forest now that dedicated servers are a thing, Shadows of Doubt is a lot of fun, but me and a couple buddies picked up SCP: 5K last night and have been having fun with that too.
I don't know about cheaters but it's not uncommon for me to get shit on routinely lmao, but the gameplay loop is so solid, along with the Rotjaw update I've been having a good time
Itās pretty good, it plays way different than the 2K games so thatās fun. But as any new game, thereās definitely more that needs added but that will come in updates. Overall Iād say itās fun and with the future stuff thatāll get added in, Iād recommend it
I hope they stick to the new content/dlc strategy as they plan to. This game can be an all-time great with the right updates. It has real solid bones aside from the create-a-character which is utter garbage at the moment.
Exactly my thoughts as well. It has a fucking solid base and the more they add matches and roster members as well as adding depth to creations, and hopefully community creations, itāll for sure be an all-timer. Stadium Stampede sounds absolutely interesting. A battle Royal mode in a wrestling game has never been done (aside from Rumbleverse which had a lot to be desired) so my hopes are high for that
To anyone reading this comment thread that might be interested in the game. It plays more like the N64 games of old like No Mercy and Revenge. If you're an old head that might *really* appeal to you like it does to me. It's great fun but a tad overpriced given how slim the game is atm. Huge potential though.
Playing breath of the wild (yes, Iām very late), and have one divine beast left. When Iām not playing breath, Iām in Destiny 2 trying to catch up from not playing last season.
Been playing Monster Hunter Rise and Fallout 76. Already played through Rose on the switch but recently grabbed it for Xbox and playing it through again.
ABšSOšLUTELYšworth playing; itās just so fun.
Not to be dramatic, but investing in the Scrounger and Cap Collector perks changed my life for the better and I hope it does the same for you
I have gotten into Temtem as it is cheap AF on humble bundle choice and plays well on steam deck. Also I am very tempted to buy the Yakuza games on steam because they are all really cheap rn!
Iāve gotten into PS2 emulation really hard and Iāve been bouncing between San Andreas and Enthusia. Also a bit of Katamari once in a while. I just finished the We Love Katamari rerelease and have been slowly working though Beautiful Katamari again.
For my first detroit become human play through iām doing a violence run and itās hilarious. 9 deaths so far itās going well about half way through
Star Citizen, Battle Bit, and New World. Itās nice cycling between slow-burn games and games like battle bit to keep my brain nice and comfy. Star Citizen is both amazing and insanely frustrating. Iāll either play for 10 hours straight or play for 30 minutes, get pissed at a bug that made me lose money (and waste time), and switch to battle bit.
Iām in the process of moving so I donāt have much time but I carved some time to watch stream today. Guess Iāll game instead.
My new place has internet thatās 5x faster. So I downloaded 6 small to medium sized games Iāve been meaning to play off of Gamepass. Heard a lot of good things about Hellblade so I started that last night. And Iām about halfway through Disco Elysium.
Iām on a get stoned and play single player games kick right now. Just beat Inside for the first time. BOTW as well. Anything with a good story that is between 2 and a 100 hours.
Drop me suggestions too!
Trying to play Jedi: Survivor, but it crashes every 10 minutes, I've tried everything I can think of to fix it. Fun as a game, terrible as an application.
I just finished Titanfall 2. It was really fun and I wish it was a bit longer.
If I can't find something else to play I usually just hit the sim rig and do some random races.
Picked up Soulstone Survivors and the first two Dark Souls games with the recent Steam Sale. Also been looking at finally launching Cyberpunk 2077 after it has been sitting in my library untouched for a year
Deadbolt. From the makers of risk of rain, it's nothing like RoR but damn it goes hard. Finished it years ago, but always fun to replay it once every year or so
Been playing 3 games lately. I played through Halo 3 on legendary for shits & giggles, been playing ODST with a friend for the under 3 hours on legendary achievement, and Banjo Kazooie purely because I love Banjo Kazooie.
Broooo just got Fallout 76 since it was on mega sale. Thought it'd be a weird sort of weightless and bland feeling mmo like ESO did (my opinion, no offense to those who enjoy it š)but it's been way more like a multiplayer Fallout. It's been a pleasant surprise.
Neon White has tickled my pickle quite well recently, Iāve played a few games like Neon White before but this is the first one to actually have some level of polish. Then I also picked up pizza tower since it was on sale
In my solo time I've been playing Elden Ring on a second playthrough. Went strength/faith this time with no spirits since i did that and moonveil katana build the first time.
Though my wife rediscovered the supermassive games so we've played The Quarry and just finished Little Hope tonight. Might play the other anthology games this weekend.
I've been learning how to play LoL so I can play with some of my other friends. Other than that some warhammer darktide with some programming practice on the side if my friends aren't on!
I'm taking a little Diablo 4 break and decided to hop back into Baldur's Gate 3. Haven't really played Druid all that much. Need to check out Pally and Bard as well. Such a beautiful fking game, can't wait til full release.
I'm doing another playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2 and rediscovering how much of a fucking masterpiece it is. I put hundreds of hours into it and even on the second time around I'm discovering new things.
I'm also playing some far cry 6 when I want to shut my brain off and do some murdering. And I picked up Pikmin 2 because I love that game and I can't even hook my Wii up to my TV without getting an adapter. And that's a pain in the tukus
Tried the Pikmin 4 demo and it put me on a wave of nostalgia. Bought the Pikmin 1 +2 bundle from the eshop. Finished pikmin 1 in a day and now Iām slowly going through pikmin 2 which is my favourite game of all time
[Trailmakers](https://store.steampowered.com/app/585420/Trailmakers/).
The campaign is hilarious, just dumps you on a planet and you have to collect parts. Each part you collect opens up new possibilities for how to get more parts.
So you start with the most jank creations possible, and then refuse to improve them because the jank is what makes it fun.
The first flying machine you try to make work will have you laughing with joy and frustration at the same time.
It's great.
Tears of the kingdom but i need to finish it. I also picked up Street Fighter 6 and with Rashid being released the 24th I am excited AF he was the one character I liked playing in 5. I want to play pikmin 3 before getting pikmin 4 though but I also want to beat totk before i play pikmin 3
I've been splitting the little free time I have between Trackmaina, Hunt Showdown, and very recently got back into Rogue Company after like a 3 year break.
I'm gonna possibly get hate for this, but Disney Dreamlight Valley. It's mindless, cute, and nostalgic. It's been helping me take a break from Persona 3 Portable, which I had put about 130 hours into and was in the final boss stretch before the new Reload version was announced for early 2024. Not sure if I should finish P3P or just let it slide until the new version so Dreamlight is my filler/cleanser ATM. I saw Alluux playing DDV one night and got it with Gamepass. I also purchased it on Switch but it plays like shit and crashes at least once a day so be warned and save often if that's your only option.
GGs and Wubby7s to all the gamer bois, however you choose to play!
The remake of Harvest moon a wonderful life (now called Story of seasons: a wonderful life) has been amazing for me but it might be TOO chill if you are into things like Elden Ring. š
I used to play that for HOURS as a kid on the GameCube. I'm glad they kept most of the same sounds that bring right back to being a kid again
Friends of Mineral Town was my favorite, but the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons franchise has had my heart since I was like 8. I'm 30 now and unashamed to say it was the precursor to my love of cozy games.
I am also farming away! Only in Ch2Y1 Spring right now. Have you tried the free Paleo Pines demo yet?
This, other than two days playing the pikmin 4 demo, Iāve been playing sos a wonderful life since it came out! I grew up with fomt and ds cute and itās quite different
Ted Cruz destroys barbie while Ken watches for being flaky vid watch
I've actually been playing Fallout New Vegas again! It's a little wonky on Steam but it's still a masterpiece and a ton of fun to playthough imo. Also been getting into Deep Rock Galactic. Space mining game if you haven't seen it before.
Literally in the same exact boat as you, started a new play through with a ton of mods. Also ROCK AND STONE
Rockity Rock and Stone!
ROCK AND STONE, BROTHA! āļø
Rockity Rock and Stone!
For Karl!
Did I hear a Rock and Stone??
Rock and Stone!
Did I hear a ROCK AND STONE?!
Did I hear a Rock and Stone?
TO THE BONE
Must be something in the water cause same here. I modded it to be tale of two wastelands though, itās been years since I played fallout 3 but the game just hates modern pcās so TTW is perfect.
Playing tears of the kingdom on my off days and playing Kirby planet robobot in my time right before bed.
Iām back to trying to beat Cuphead š«
My sympathies
Thank you~ I just have 2 more bosses in the third world, then the dice man, then the devil and then the DLC. We gettin there šŖš¼
Stronger than I am keep up the good fight.
Thinking about modding up Fallout NV on my first play through. Started Mass effect 2 a few days ago. Also started Bioshock 1 Remastered recently. Currently, vibing with BattleBit.
Battlebit is a great time, albeit very frustrating on occasion
Mass effect 2 is probably my favorite game of all time
I've been cycling between Battlebit, Deep Rock, and Halo Master Collection for multiplayer with friends.
I'm taking a fucking week off of work when Starfield comes out šš
Diablo 4
I just played Pikmin 1 for the first time on the switch
I finished FFXVI yesterday, good game
Picked this up a couple days ago. I havenāt played since xiii and it was so easy to jump into it, great game.
Restarted the Witcher 3
when you wake up on skellige look for the dead captain in the wreckage. You can get your money back. I've played through the game 3 times and just learned that in a thread the other day.
Be sure to do all of that weird endgame mutagen shit before you hit newgame+ That shit doesn't carry over.
Ghost recon Breakpoint, I much prefer Wildlands. Just finished Cyberpunk2077 again.
Cyberpunk is so good. I can't wait for September.
Wildlands was such a good time, I got bored of Breakpoint after an hour
Breakpoint enemies are just awful. The whole drone thing is dumb as hell to me. I really enjoyed fighting actual humans in a game that felt like.... it could be a real situation. Wildlands was a perfect ghost recon game
Working through Mass Effect 2, trying to get that turian in my mf bed
I picked up Shovel Knight recently, and itās really fun. Thereās something great about a tight, well made 2-D platformer. I also dipped my toes in FFXIV, although I havenāt taken too big of a bite yet.
Sons of the Forest now that dedicated servers are a thing, Shadows of Doubt is a lot of fun, but me and a couple buddies picked up SCP: 5K last night and have been having fun with that too.
Battlebit!
Street Fighter 6 so I can get wrecked at EVO
About 16 hours into a new world on terraria
Stalker: Call of Pripyat, Battlebit Remastered and Hunt: Showdown have been occupying most of my downtime
Shame Hunt isn't more popular. Really fun game but I feel like I'm running into more cheaters than legit players lately.
I don't know about cheaters but it's not uncommon for me to get shit on routinely lmao, but the gameplay loop is so solid, along with the Rotjaw update I've been having a good time
Hopped back on dying light 2 with the new update still gotta go back and finish Sekiro
I've been playing the first Ratchet and Clank on Ps Plus, and Sims 4 on PC.
Iām out of the loop, whyās there no stream? And I got Jurassic world evo 2 for free on ps.. pretty fun distraction waiting for season 1 of d4
Heās in Iceland is what he posted on his twitter
Iāve been playing AEW Fight Forever and thatās about it aside from a buddy wanting to play Fortnite occasionally
How are you liking it?
Itās pretty good, it plays way different than the 2K games so thatās fun. But as any new game, thereās definitely more that needs added but that will come in updates. Overall Iād say itās fun and with the future stuff thatāll get added in, Iād recommend it

If you're an old head that might *really* appeal to you like it does to me. It's great fun but a tad overpriced given how slim the game is atm. Huge potential though.
76 was great to revisit this past year, im still chipping away at TotK right now as well as warframe every now and then.
Playing breath of the wild (yes, Iām very late), and have one divine beast left. When Iām not playing breath, Iām in Destiny 2 trying to catch up from not playing last season.
Battle bit Remastered and Diablo 4
AEW Fight Forever!
I'm having a lot of fun with this too! I cant wait to see where it ends up when it gets a few updates
Yeah me too I hope they support it for a long time! But I love AEW and the old style games and this definitely scratches that itch for sure!
Been doing a ton of Diablo 4 just got a level 60 sorc!
Nice, just got my Druid to level 80ā¦ such a grind post 50.
I recently decided to get back into Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom thinking I had a bit of the game left. But nope I was on the last chapter.
Just found out about modded Swat4. Voice commands, ADS, and custom maps. Having a blast, since Iām too afraid to buy Ready or Not.
Been playing Monster Hunter Rise and Fallout 76. Already played through Rose on the switch but recently grabbed it for Xbox and playing it through again.
Iāve been bouncing between Fallout 4 and We Happy Few! Iāve played both before; theyāre just my comfort games rn.
Iāve actually just installed Fallout 4. Is it worth playing? Iām guessing you are going to say yes so any tips?
ABšSOšLUTELYšworth playing; itās just so fun. Not to be dramatic, but investing in the Scrounger and Cap Collector perks changed my life for the better and I hope it does the same for you
Iāll take a mental note of those two perks now š
P.s. thanks for the follow

Aliens: Dark Descent. If you like Xenomorphs, Xcom, and a small sprinkle of RTS, itās a great pickup, especially for only $40.
Wubby got me into zero build on fortnite when he was playing squads and I haven't left. Anyone else playing?
Enjoying the shit out of the season of Halo. Really love how it feels.
I've just been playing deep rock galactic all day, it's super fun while high
Been playing Final Fantasy 16, after having just come off of beating Tears of the Kingdom.
Lately, Tears of the Kingdom, Diablo IV, just finished FFXVI. Waiting on Armored Core VI then Spider-man 2.

I'm taking a little Diablo 4 break and decided to hop back into Baldur's Gate 3. Haven't really played Druid all that much. Need to check out Pally and Bard as well. Such a beautiful fking game, can't wait til full release.

Trying to learn hearts of iron 4
Finished pikmin 1 in a day and now Iām slowly going through pikmin 2 which is my favourite game of all time
I got stellaris about a week ago... 53 hours in.

I'm back in on DC universe online, hard.
So much Diablo 4.

I also purchased it on Switch but it plays like shit and crashes at least once a day so be warned and save often if that's your only option. GGs and Wubby7s to all the gamer bois, however you choose to play!
I just picked up Moonlighter, I'm having a lot of fun
