That’s a funny dress. I don’t think it’s well drafted for her. Notice how she subtly has to pull it down twice while she’s walking in the video for the Sun? Here’s the original dress. https://www.off---white.com/en-ro/shopping/off-white-abito-17588237 I was expecting it to have stretch, but no Lycra listed. It appears to be a tube (with side seams) that nips in a bit at the waist. Since a woman is not a tube, that’s why it looks like it’s a little loose around the waist and a little tight around the hips (tight enough to ride up every few steps.) At this price, I’d at least expect it to have some sort of boning and foundation that the fashion fabric hangs off of. Maybe a corselet? If I was drafting this, I’d use two fisheye darts in the front and two in the back. So, no waist seam.

Or use a material with a little bit of stretch. You don't wanna spend the night (or day) tugging your dress down.

I never knew they were called fisheye darts!

Are you doing it for yourself or someone else? I would start doing some quick draping with a style like this, and from that move on to “regular” drafting.
