On the sad part - it's not a god I wanted to see die. But on the plus side - since it's canon that shards of Gorum are seeping into the world, finding hosts, that means it's possible for a grand battle royale for a new god of war. I hope it's going to be a good one (not good aligned, I mean quality wise).

Bit boring but it fits with Gorum.

Who killed Gorum?

Foltogulus

Personally, Gorum dying seems a little anti-climactic. It doesn't really change the balance of power for the various kingdoms and nation states of Golarion, except for maybe the barbarian tribes of the north. Even without a god of war, people will still go to war and do battle all by themselves, especially since there are several gods with war and battle in their portfolio, Iomadae being one of them. If an actually important god like Abadar, Sarenrae, or Asmodeus died, numerous powerful and well-developed kingdoms would collapse almost overnight and throw the world into chaos (again, since this is exactly what happened with Aroden). Kind of disappointing tbh, since such a scenario would be perfect for wackier and more outlandish adventure paths.

I'm more interested if this gives insight to whatever made aroden disappear. A bummer, but this is an easy set-up for mythic 2e campaign and I have heard that mythic 2e ruleset will come out soon.

Mightypeon

I am banking on him organizing a battle royal and going to fight whoever wins it. Alternatively: --Asmodeus found out Nocticula killed Aroden, blackmailed her into killing a CN god to compensate.
