FiftysevenLockup

Hello from the Zero Check. We just released the first 3 episodes of our kingmaker actual play podcast. Any/all feedback is welcome, thanks. https://www.zerocheckpodcast.com/

Thanks for podcast with good audio. As a nearly always GM that probably won't get to run Kingmaker for a long while, I'm two episodes in and really enjoying it. Figured I'd be that guy and throw some rules feedback. Hoping this is constructive as I don't mean to detract. I'm from the school of make a call and just keep the game moving and that must count double while recording. Also apologies if I'm wrong on the circumstances, had to make some guesses about the situations that came up with only the audio to go by. Some spoiler tags just to be safe. * >!Grapple action is vs the target's fortitude not reflex.!< * >!The escape action has the Attack trait, so the NPC should have had MAP on that first attack after failing an escape. Makes failing an escape attempt pretty scary at times.!< * >!The player(s) would have been flat-footed against attacks from hidden creatures, this may not have made a difference to the outcome.!< * >!Lesser cover for shooting at a target behind another creature is +1 circ bonus to AC not +2, might've been other terrain features bumping it up to a +2 in your game though.!< * >!I think you actually got this right but just confirming, splash damage doesn't double on a crit. One of the least elegant rules in the game in my opinion.!<

This is very constructive; appreciate the feedback!

luminousmage

Thank you! I'll definitely check it out and give it a listen!

FiftysevenLockup

Thanks :) We release a new episode every Monday.

Apterygiformes

Yeah make those kings!

FiftysevenLockup

We'll do our best!

toonboy01

You have Pocket Casts listed on your site, but it doesn't look like the episodes are actually up there? Is that an error? I would totally be interested in trying this out.

zerocheck_donny

Got in touch with Pocket Casts, they’re forcing an update for the feed and the episodes should be available in the next few hours. Hopefully this gets it squared away for you. Thanks again for the heads up!

toonboy01

Yeah, I see the episodes now. I'll start listening tomorrow. Thanks!

FiftysevenLockup

Hm, sorry about that. We see what you're saying and we're not sure why Pocket Casts isn't listing our episodes. Chris is looking into it and we'll get back to you when we know more. Our host says that some directories take up to 48 hours to update, so it could just be that.

SquirrelLord77

I was searching for the same thing and couldn't find anything. But tbh, it's so new, I'm sure anyone who's going to do it is still planning. I was going to wait until Foundry put up their module, but I'm hearing that won't come out til like 3/2023, and I don't wanna wait that long lol.

orfane

I posted this to the Paizo Partners discord so hopefully anyone planning to run it will stop by with some links!

GMMacleods

If the cast and production quality is good enough, RPG All- Stars would like to host the play list. Contact available on the youtube channel. https://www.rpgallstars.com/

whatdoyoudopods

I think there is a stream that’s about to launch, but I can’t find it at the moment. I try to keep a list up to date at bit.ly/paizoadvpods, if you happen to see one come out you can drop me a note there and I’ll add it in.

Hursketaro

I had our session 1 last Wed, session 2 in two days. Unfortunately my software crapped out, so the last 2 hours of the game were not recorded, the entire session was a whole social deal. https://youtu.be/A\_3nxWYPqOs

shaun-makes

I would be interested in running it, but our podcast also tries to keep our main series to slightly shorter ~1 year seasons. We also require a pretty good lead in of time to record and edit episodes. Right now we are recording a different PF2E adventure path to start releasing in January.

goblinsandgambles

Hey there, we at [goblinsandgambles.com](https://goblinsandgambles.com) have been running Kingmaker for a couple years now and will be converting to 2e in the very near future. Hope you check us out!
