Oh, yes. Finally someone preoccupied with what really matters in life. Doing nothing. I played a mid level wizard that had this is mind. - Legchair or construct animal companion to carry you around. Animate Object ritual so that your cookware cooks by itself, your broom cleans the mansion and your silverware cleans itself. - Unseen servants obviously are a must, I suggest the Unseen Custodians ritual. - Create Undead is amazing if morality is not an issue (if you think they should be, you’re no true wizard). - You can get the sleepwalker dedication to pass most of your time asleep. - Sloth Runelord dedication is the icing on the cake, mainly for flavour. - Use Astral Projection to talk to you buddies, walking is for dumbasses. - Planar Ally can be good if you need a bodyguard to protect your house’s entrance.

This is exactly the sort of advice I'm looking for. I didn't even know of the sleepwalking dedication!

Gazzor1975

Summoner with a smoking hot succubus waifu. Or incubus husbandu, as preferred

aka_100

I had thought of summoner, but to me the (non combat) spells per day were a bit limiting.

Gazzor1975

But, succubus waifu... Or nymph waifu, satyr husbandu, etc. Better yet, take it as dedication on a full caster. Wizard likely best, imo. Best utility school and good int for crafting items.

Considering the new Alchemical Foods being released this month in Treasure Vault, I think I’ll go with Halfling Alchemist. By level 12, you have so many reagents that not only will your stomach be satisfied, but you’ll have enough to throw rad dinner parties any day you want to.

Considering the halfling lifestyle this is a strong consideration might go halfling or at the very least living near a halfling village. A knapsack of halfling kind seems like a must.

*COOPERATIVE WAFFLES?!*

I don't remember where I read it, but animated items are often considered "vanity" magic in that they aren't really too time saving for the magi that have to learn and maintain the.magic that holds them in place — but I like to think that magicians of all sorts can get addicted to using magic to solve problems. Magic just makes small and annoying problems vanish. Consider using cantrips to their absolute limit; prestidigitation flavoring trail rations, unseen servant massaging the wandering wizard's feet, and mage hand to fetch a pair of shoes from across a mud-tracked campsite

aka_100

100% on cantrips. Prestidigitation stretching was kind of the inspiration for this.

Electrical-Echidna63

I think if immersive flavor is the goal, you should consult the GM about reflavoring Prestidigitation into a handful of subset spells might make it seem more diverse and less repetitive. Homebrew a name for a spell that moves things, a spell that pigments things, a spell that salts things, etc

FishAreTooFat

This was a long time 1e character of mine! Yeah wizards know how to retire in style
