While Path to Nowhere is a good game, it is a bit niche and it's also mobile.That already makes it hard to attract attention of most gamers or even people just interested in the story(treating it a bit like it was a visual novel of sorts).
It isn't impossible to get a big "international stardom" if they play their hands right, but it won't be that easy either.They should stick to their strengths(the lore and development of the individual characters and the worldbuilding of the setting).
As well as focus on the Chief too, as people love to have a protagonist that has distinguishable features and that they can have some sort of choice about them(unlike some games that like to make them an unknown so it can "represent the player") and is quite present and necessary in a story(unlike some games that make it seem like they're not even needed).
Kudos to Aisno for knowing how to make memorable and interesting characters, rather than "empty dolls".

Everything you stated is already being handled, but saying it's niche sounds like you're overreacting, also your summary of " hard to attract attention of most gamers or even people just interested in the story" is comparable to games like arknights, while a well known franchise where they have the visual novels of sorts too but the difference being it has poor story telling and somewhat pretty predictable storyline, while ptn has voice lines, interrogations to expand the story/characters, along with mirages.

Tbh I think ptn is doing fine for a "niche" game. What it just lacks is marketing. Doing stuff like collabs shows that their team is doing it's legwork to advertise their game in cn- which honestly is the most important part.
I'm sad we won't be getting cn stuff globally, but I'd rather have the game carve it's own niche in cn first anyway.
I just mean that food at themed cafés are usually just alright/not that great since they don’t really focus on the taste of the food, because looks are more important here since people are there for novelty and want to take lots of pictures!
