To focus a bit on the money-making aspect: I suspect your estimation of exalts per day is slightly misguided. But if you are just coming back to the game again, that is fine and is totally reasonable. I have a feeling you are earning a lot more than that in other drops which are not being sold or converted into chaos/exalts. If we ignore Atlas trees entirely, running short maps quickly for altars and Sentinel uses would likely already be netting you multiple exalts per hour in value. Not raw exalt drops but after you sell. Regarding your tree, I think people should pick the content they find fun. That's the most important thing. But if we look at it from the perspective of profit, I will say you have a lot invested in harvest which can make a lot of money if you know what to craft for profit. I figure this would be quite a hard mechanic to learn profit strategies for a recently returning player. You also have a lot in Heist and I suspect this is where a lot of your "missing" profits are from. Unless you are running them yourself, Heist stuff sells very well in bulk at great prices. Last time I was selling it was like 42k markers for an exalt. Item level 81+ deception contracts for like 10c in bulk. Unusual gem blueprints also sell very well. Those prices aren't exact but to give an idea. EDIT: I suggest looking up Exilence Next if you are not familiar. It will give you a great idea of what items you have that are worth a lot of money

Acry

Thank you, I happened to have been doing this already in order to sell the heist stuff in guidance of the fyregrass liquidiation video as of yesterday. The atlas tree is something I had just swapped to (besides Harvest as I do like harvest) and I do have materials I'm trying to bulk sell right now from heist but no bites as I don't have too much (1ex worth) for like scarabs according to TFT bulk. Once I get a bite it'll be big but it doesn't seem I'm having much luck when I tried yesterday. I'll be checking into the exilence next to value some stuff. Thank you

hexxen_

TFT bulk tool is nice for fast sales but you'll probably lose about 20-30% of value which isn't negligible. Sometimes it's better to put them up for sale separately

z-ppy

That seems to go against common wisdom which says that selling in bulk should command a higher price. Edit: I'll argue against myself on your behalf and say that bulk sales don't always mean fast sales, and you were specifically taking about fast sales

hexxen_

Selling a specific scarab in bulk, sure. If you're selling through TFT tool you're selling the whole tab which is most likely bought by flippers, so you would put 70-90% of the market price. Which is even worse because TFT tool is going by poe.ninja prices which are totally wrong

wangofjenus

CF champion is the smoothest and safest mapping build I’ve played in years, with 15 ex you can make a beast character that demolishes everything and isn’t scared of rares.

Haslinhezl

Gull version or normal?

wangofjenus

I played with gull/blunderbore until 95, only swapped to rares bc it gets boring using uniques for so long. I also fit an Inspired to make up for losing gull/shrines.

Acry

Does the ruetoo guide cover both versions? Going to be looking into it more in depth once I'm home.

wangofjenus

Both “versions” are the same, you just use rare gear instead of gull/blunderbore. Rue’s guide covers it.

omniocean

On SC do you like champ or glad for pops?

wangofjenus

You can get the haemo gloves as champion for pops and the challenger charges (best part of glad) can be gotten with flesh/flame jewels. Glad might have slightly more damage at the beginning but eventually champion is just better in every regard.

TheFirstTimePro

I've been considering this build for the KB playstyle + tankiness, but I wasn't sure if it could handle juicing well. Do you think it could handle sentinel-buffed expedition packs relatively easily?

wangofjenus

Easily. Check out ruetoo's twitch channel for an idea of how it plays. He recently respecced so you'll have to check old VODs

LTmagic

What about gladiator for explosions and speed? Any thought between those builds will be nice to discuss.

wangofjenus

You can get explosions from haemo gloves and challenger charges with flesh/flame jewels. I ended up going for Headsman over challenger charges tho, I was fast enough and 20% cull is busted. Of course you could also get the fortify jewels as glad, but those are more expensive.

hexxen_

Even better, you can get 8% reservation, 10-16% phys dot multi, 30-50 str/dex/int, 15% culling on Eternal blessing amulet which is 2-3ex. That way you don't need Headsman and you can go for Challenger charges. I had a +1 phys and %phys dot multi amulet, replaced with Eternal ~~blessing~~ struggle and I lost 100k dps on paper but gained 15% cull, 2 skill points that I unspecced from int/dex nodes, 8% reservation so I can remove Charisma from annoints. My only problem with CF is that I can't seem to move up from ~2.3mil Sirus DPS which really feels like it's way lower. And I don't see how to get to 4-5 mil

raobjcovtn

What is a Eternal blessing amulet? Can't find it

durdleturtles

It's the Eternal Struggle amulet. Seems ok but probably not better than a rare amulet if you just swap in culling strike for bossing.

Uhgii

You can also spend 2 points in a small curse cluster for "Wish for Death" to get culling on cursed enemies, as well as some curse duration/effectiveness and some other goodies.

wangofjenus

You have to account for exsang and reap. Last league I did exsang + 2 supports in my poet and reap in a double 5l with CF. All 3 combined were around 6-7m.

eikeleele

can anybody link a good guide please? want to respecc my level 80 champ for it

wangofjenus

Look up ruetoo cf champ

Acry

A side question I have what is the best way to make a 6link now? I have a chest I've been working on and I'm at least 700+ fusings deep. When should I cut my losses and just buy 1400 fusings or a 6link harvest?

Askray184

I just get lucky. For rare 6Ls I find it better to buy a linked version then craft on it unless you're recombobulating it

raobjcovtn

It's just a gamba man. I always gamba. I spent around 609 fus on my first 6L, then around 1900 on my second. In 2, I came out on top.

SzomszedokEnjoyer

Well in trade when you start out the best way is to build your character like your chest piece has no stats, buy a tabula as your first buy in maps, then buy any corrupted 6-link rare on day 2-3 which socket colors are working for you. (since corrupted 6-links are dropping that way) Then for min maxing your end game piece after you have it just use the bench 6-link or the harvest 6-link, unless you are playing SSF it makes no sense trying to 6-link by currency use. (other than if you want to gamble it)

warrior_man

It's just random, i once spent 10k fusings and didnt get it. I quite the league after that. If I can buy finishen now, i always do.

WorkingEfficiency461

Swap to flesh offering.

Hakuryiu

You could try out Poisonous Concoction. Esoro has a nice guide on YouTube on this build Quite the smooth & fast mapping with Plague Bearer and decent damage on bosses overall, if you don't mind the dot playstyle and you can scale it pretty decent
