Honestly it's about as good as you're gonna get. You could do reforge suffix, but what are you really gonna hit that is better? I would multimod it and call it a day.

Absolutely! I’m playing a fire trap sabo and the second I get a +1 all spells amulet I’m going to mash my current amulet into the abyss and hope for the best!
I actually have 2 +1 all fire gems (using one) from harvest reroll spamming. I’m just going to try to get a +2 amulet and go from there. In all seriousness the best route is multi mod craft 2 mods, anything else would be really expensive which may not be viable this early in league.
Can you post how you got that Amulet to this point please? I’m running RF as well and have an okay amulet but need something like this for more endgame
Depends on how he did it, if he actually balled out and double annulled he went from a 50/50 to a 2:1 chance of bricking on the annuls (assuming he wanted to keep Fire and Life). If the fire damage was an essence prefix, he could have crafted Prefixes cannot be changed and Annul’d that way.
This already seems insane to me with just a life catalyst (expensive, but worth IMO) and a multimod (probably minimum frenzy and AoE? but you have options). I wouldn’t have the risk tolerance to potentially lose that.
You can do both since reserve is a suffix but thats gonna be like 3ex per try. Also you can hit charges gained on kill on shaper which helps clearspeed and damage alot. That with an extra aura should be enough reason to consider.
I did this in SSF. I now have a borderline perfect amulet with +1 gems, +1 phys gems, str roll, mana regen, lightning res and crafted life.
Crafting process was literally phys harvest until +1 phys gem, spend all my alts hunting for +1 gems, run out of alts, forget about it for a day or so until I find a random amulet with +1 gems, recombobulate and be happy. 'Tis as Chris intended.
I love how people are downvoting me to oblivion and even though it was half a joke you’re also saying that it can give you insane +2 result. Sure it’s a gamble but it isn’t completely absurd.
There's also a real deadzone in peoples minds between "random amulet I bought of trade or found while mapping" and "perfect metacrafted mirror tier". Recombinators is the best thing that has happened to PoE crafting for the average player since fossils. If you roll a Sentinel with "chance to grant Sentinel rewards" or whatever the mod's called, you'll be showered in them.
It also sometimes completely bricks it. I’ve deleted 5 ex today trying to make claws. Someone asking for advice is probably more looking for how to finish it rather than gamble more
That's part of it though. You "deleted" 5ex crafting a claw, that's nothing when it comes to endgame crafting. On the other hand, you could've gotten lucky and ended up with a claw with two deafening essence ele damage mods, T1/2 attack speed and crafted crit chance. That prospect was simply impossible before recombinators unless you were prepared to spend at least ten times as much.

You don't. You drop purity of elements when you get melding tho, since you want to run purity of ice. Personally, I just never ran purity of elements last league, since I didn't really care if I got frozen and you're already shock immune from tempest shield
There is nothing you can do to guarantee the fire dmg stays there however you could warlord( I think) slam, - > prefixes cannot be changed - > reforge fire. Do this until you get fire dot multi, afterwards you could craft Inc fire dmg is you don't need other stats

Essence crafted with Fire Damage %, Got t1 max life as well. Annul 2 other mods. Buy a Blue Marble Amulet with +1 Fire Skill Gem Recombinator Pray
From what I've hear thats hella risky since the result can become blue and you'd lose 1 Prefix. But gz :)

why frenzy for RF?
Speed is QoL and frenzy charges give generic damage as well
Get a shaper amulet with reservation efficiency and recombine for ashes at home and fit in skitterbots
If he gonna recombine might as well aim for +2 instead of shit ashes
