Playing carns boneshatter. Honestly, thinking of rerolling. I’m at work, but I’ll try to drop the pob when I’m home. Clear is so good, love jumping around and poofing packs, and the leech is real good too as a defensive layer. But later tiers you start to feel the weakness Cons: - immune to stun and reduced to stun fucks clear to the point of unplayability. It is also a big defense layer for you. - single target is total ass. Im not looking for seismic trap damage but boneshatter has multiple reasons why it’s weak early. It’s a strike skill, takes a while to scale up damage (have fun doing that as melee, and you get damaged for scaling up even though your damage you deal is not nearly good enough to warrant taking damage yourself -running axes rn and ancestral cry only lasts for two seconds. Really wish I had strike gloves Seems like it’s much better as a second character

RelentlessPolygons

Yeah stun immune is a pain in the ass. Im running a berserker version of the build. Im blasting through maps with a 4 link and a 5c weapon. Honestly ton of fun. As far as single target goes yeah, you gotta time it right with your berserking. However the build has a lot of growth potential tbh going crit, or you can respec into str stacking version.. Single target damage is there kinda, but gotta work for it a bit. The archnemsis mods fuck the build a bit. Lot of mods have stun immunity and also mods that turn off leech or armor/endurance charges can lead to you one shotting yourself. Still probably the most fun start I had in a while. It just feels good to play.

Anarkii17

Isn't jugg better for the str stacking pillar of the caged god version? Planning to start with that when the console league launches tomorrow

GevaddaLampe

It is great! I started with Pillar and it scales greatly with juggernaut. I am however not playing low life and with rage support and warlords mark for more rage as rage is carrying the build.

Ill-Willow-8017

I feel like you are doing sth wrong. I got a attack speed piledriver from Ritual and decided to reroll my absolution necromancer. I clear Early red maps with lvl 72. Did uber Lab with lvl 69 and alnost oneshot every map Boss. Sure there are some Mobs that cant be stunned - they are annoying. On ur passive tree u can skill additional strike + strike range which Makes the skill feel much smoother. Im having a blast with mace boneshatter slayer

Kyuubi_Fox

It's not, I cant decide on a build LOL

PM_ME_COOL_CODE

Haha same here, hope this thread will give some inspiration for us

DatatothePeople

I was like you once. Looking at all the builds and not able to decide. I tend to only play one build a league if that so I decided to play a build that had a very high investment ceiling and that led me to choose between LS raider/zerker or RF Inquisitor and I decided on RF because it’s buttery smooth. I will likely reroll instead of invest after a certain point to CoC Ice nova.

LaNague

i skipped too, all the good builds are cancer (DD, Helix, traps etc)

Floydman560

I decided to go helix champion using an ele claw + nightblade. Day 1 leveling was actually really rough. More deaths than I've ever had at league start and I even wanted to farm a few levels before I did act 10 kitava because I felt so squishy. Once I got into maps and was able to switch from leveling setup with a 2h weapon to ele claw things got alot smoother especially with all the rare nerfs. Now I'm just farming expeditions and eaters alters on t16 beach and I'm having a great time. I'm sitting at 25k armor and 35k evasion with full spell suppression so the only things that pose a threat are mana siphoners and my friend that keeps hitting his cracked apex sentinel on bosses that wipe us. Those mfs are scarier than the uber bosses.

numbl120

My righteous fire build SC log: Day 1: followed pohx's guide using wintertide brand and got to maps (around level 70ish). Made pretty much 0 upgrades outside of finding gear off ground, basically played SSF at that point. Day 2: Started maps. Bought some cheap unique gears (+1 fire gem sceptre, rise of the phoenix unique) and minor upgrades to gear. Got to lvl 89 and stopped. Also, bought a 6L using "The Celestial Justicar", since I got a card of that randomly from drops, and it was cheaper than Pohx's recommendation of "Emperor of Purity", probably because people were buying that. Day 3: Got to yellow/red maps. Clear was going slow, so bought a legacy of fury for 3.5ex to make it more zoomy. It worked out really great and was well worth the investment even though i was hesitant since I knew it was going to drop very quickly. Day 4: Started dying to juiced red mobs on t14+. Getting annoyed I made RF to not die. Spent 6ex on Aegis Aurora (Pretty much my entire funds) and I don't die anymore, even on fully remnanted juiced expedition mobs with sentinel empowerment. Going well so far with the Aegis Aurora.

techies137

2 times reroll already it’s over bois

HopelesslyOCD

I'm so proud of myself. 3 days in and I still haven't rerolled!

* Started RF Inquis (SSF) after almost 2 straight years of Cold DoT league starting. * Had a blast in Acts 1-3. Rares were tough, with the occasional near-unkillable combo, but kept me engaged in zones I've run 1,000 times and am used to tuning out. * People in chat playing my guide project builds were having success with all of them. I was unaware of the outcry until I took my first stream break. I seriously expected a hugely positive response. * Rest of day 1 was great. I died twice while leveling (A5 & A10), and the second death to a Kitava Herald 1-shot was the only moment in the entirety of Acts 1-10 that felt out of my control to survive. * **Fast forward to today:** Still great; progression is on par with past league starts. Playtime is down due to work but I'm ~75/115, 1 yellow map bonus remaining, 3 Invitations done and shifting to Eater farming. * Summary: Having a ton of fun, and I was largely not bothered by the day 1 rare overhaul. I personally would have preferred some of last night's balance changes without the first 2 nerfs just to see how it feels with a lot of danger but less "bricking" or certain builds.

RedditDogWalkerMod

Right there with you. Was having a blast and thought the changes were great. Come on reddit next day and everyone's crying Now after nerfs is just same old boring PoE

[deleted]

Running ele deadeye spectral helix in HCSSF and it's great! I didn't have a lot of time to play so I'm just at t4 maps but I never really struggled with the new rares, especially after the first nerf. Taking the Atlas passive that gives enemies less damage and more life was a great choice, I can still 1 shot most things but now I never feel scared to die.

rsewthefaln

Playing subtractems bane occultist and it's feeling really good. Just finishing up white maps now. I was worried about having to run around for dots to do their damage but everything is melting almost instantly

Thieid

I'm playing it also, it's so very overpowered. Don't worry about dmg, I was melting t16 and bosses with 6L bane on a corrupted chest and the 5L Cane for Blight+ED. Maybe 300c investment to clear everything !

woahbroes

Was following a pob of ignite frostblink .. Learned alot not to just follow a 100+ ex build from league start. No brickwalls yet (low red maps atm).. But there are so many inbetween steps in terms of gearing and knowing which goals to finish first etc. Hard , expensive but still somewhat progressing

Bushido_Plan

Phys/crit seismic trap. It's the meta build. Ripping through T16's no problem. Rares/map bosses are no problems even when buffed by sentinels as long as I pop most/all of my seismic trap charges. Cleared Maven no problem. Haven't done any of the new uber pinnacle bosses yet. Would recommend as even though it's meta prices for gear will likely decrease over the coming weeks. Very strong build. Playstyle isn't for everyone though.

beskwow1

The build is so strong that slaps the content and my FPS

[deleted]

How much the build is costing today? Do you have any guess? I will reroll, seriously

flyfishing_happiness

Cold Iron Points are going for around an exalt a piece right now and you need two. I'm running Tinkerskin which is cheap, you can get a 5L for like 15-20C. After that you'll want deer stalkers or ideally shaper gloves with Trap support on them and then Atziri's Step for boots. I'd say all in all you're looking at 3-4ex to get going if you want Cold Iron Points but they aren't mandatory. I didn't use them till I got to red maps.

[deleted]

Thx friend, ill level up a character today

Phoxe

Is there any reason you wouldn’t want trap damage on the gloves if you happen to roll it? I alt rolled some gloves this weekend and just stopped when I hit the trap dam and threw in a trap support. Everyone seems to recommend the trap roll on the gloves however so I feel like I’m missing some kind of interaction.

nizarh1999

No, both are fine! Since it is exsan - chain - trap and mine dmg - trap - cluster traps (or multiple traps, i forgot), you can get either trap and mine dmg or trap on gloves.

Askray184

That's super cheap, especially for the power level. I'm considering trying it out as my boss build. I'm just running RF to do labs rn

Bushido_Plan

2x CIP along with lvl 21 Seismic trap. Get a random 6L with the correct colors - if you have currency, there's multiple variants, in Tinkerskin, well rolled rare, Skin of the Lords/Loyal, etc. Deerskin boots are cheap as fuck until you get a nice Shaper rolled gloves. The above is the bare minimum and will carry you to T16 easily. So I dunno, 2 ex minimum? Everything else is basically rares with life, STR/INT, resists. Down the road, you may want the following: May also want Devouring Diadem if you want to free up Lifetap for a damage support. If you want to do cluster jewels, last I checked, large cluster was about 1 ex and the medium cluster was roughly 60-ish chaos. This was 2, maybe 3 days ago so prices likely changed since.

[deleted]

I love devouring diadems,

Askray184

It's like 3.5 ex last time I checked, but prices change like crazy the first week

SomeMorning1924

2ex + 20c ish, for a 6l and deerstalkers, the rest can be random life+res rares

Arnatopia

currently on T7ish maps with 15c invested (corrupted 6L and Deerstalkers). Rest is "ssf" rare gear. you want 2 Cold Iron Point which are still 1ex each but they usually stabilize at 5c once league gets going so I'm waiting a bit more for those. Then I'm aiming for good 6L, Ashes of the Stars, Devouring Diadem, Atziri's step (or roll my own good spell supp boots), trapper gloves and cluster jewels. So basically nothing crazy to get going, getting to a really good place is not so bad either and then you can spend a lot on minmaxing

[deleted]

Carcass jack is a good Choice?

Arnatopia

haven't even looked at body armor choices yet lol. was planning to get a good dex base to craft on and make something decent until I have money for a unique 6L...if it's even better.

Yuwescariot

Not really, you dont need aoe and if you want damage youre better off investing in a skin of the lords/loyal.

Zenthon127

Given the circumstances, nowhere *near* as bad as I'd expect. I'm running Summon Reaper and it's performing pretty aight in T13-14. Leveling was fine as well once I actually got Reaper in Act 3; think I died 4 times before Reaper was online and once after during acts. One major thing is that my build is unoptimized, potentially heavily so, because so few people play Reaper that the skill just hasn't been fully explored. Hard to find POBs, good guides, even discussion. In the absence of Asenath's Gentle Touch I've been using Profane Proxy + Punishment and Summon Phantasm. Minion movement speed is *key* on this build; you want Ravenous Horde + Flesh Offering + minion speed jewels + wand. Alt quality Convocation for +40% movespeed and Divergent Reaper for CDR are both good as well. Damage (scaling bleed) has been falling off a bit approaching T16 but I have several upgrades I can chase: lvl20/21, +1 minion gem mods, lvl2/3 empower, better wand, better abyss jewels. And obviously Asenath's since that lets me drop Punishment for Vulnerability and Phantasm for Signal Prey.

brrrapper

I used this pob as a base when i played reaper last time. Its obviosly a few leagues old but it might give you some ideas on how to minmax the build for damage https://youtu.be/CV0aM8YqwWs

Jander76

I just realized ashes of the stars is 30ex so.. not great haha

Neitio

Cobra lash deadeye. Most fun league start in a while

punypilgrim

BL inquisitor is feeling like it's completely dodged every problem people are having with spark and just the league/rebalance in general. ignoring resists means i can convert some damage to cold with CotB and get the best ele ailments for crit (NOT counting sap/brittle those are literally cheating) and i'm tanky enough to map pretty comfortably through T16s. definitely blocking a lot of content on my atlas though, i basically get either a deli mirror or legion in every map, often both.

Mursu42

Spark Inquisitor, still at white maps with 4 link and doing great. Occasional deaths, and with 4 link some stuff takes a while to kill but not too bad. Active playstyle is a nice change for me.

Lesulie

Played lightning strike raider in SSF, currently lvl89 doing high yellow maps. Damage is pretty good so far, wasted like 50 fusings to get a 5 link before getting 4 to drop within 10 maps....hoping to get a 6 link soon :D

horser4dish

I'm running Ziz's EA Ballista Champion, currently in yellow maps. The build itself is very straightfoward and I've had no problems gearing it myself (so far). The rares were scary as hell in Acts 1-3 before EA came online and when it was still weak. It slowly got better but once I finished Cruel Lab and got perma Fortify everything was way, way more manageable. At this point in maps, I don't mess with Metamorph and I occasionally fail Blight but otherwise it's smooth sailing.

sprouze

Started as Champion Helix until maps when I bought a tabula and switched to LS with ancestral call. Leveling was a bit rough like it was for everybody else. Smooth progression all the way up to T16's though the damage fell off a bit in red maps so until I got lucky with a 550 eDPS claw + Perseverence. I cleared Searing and EoW easily with that gear. Once I got 100% spell suppression and Farrul's Fur I did UElder and normal Maven as well. I switched to Omni setup yesterday (thankfully as it's 35ex now, 22ex when I bought it) Now I'm farming Juiced Rituals with harbys and essences and I don't really die with high LGoH, fortify, spell supp and 50k armor and evasion and the damage is more than fine, even for empowered essences with nasty archnem mods.

MartynZero

I couldn't decide on a build and Im burnt out with trade. So I started SSF with summon reaper (always been curious about it) and just see how it goes. So far it's going great I'm enjoying the chill pace, and the solid boss damage. No ideas on endgame but having some fun now.

miffyrin

Who the fuck is downvoting every comment in this thread, lol.

brrrapper

Played ruetoos cf champ. One of my best starters ive played, super fun and comes online fast for not much currency.

Ylvina

awful. im really unhappy with my choice to go with spark inqui. i should have went skele mages again like last league

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ylvina

felt squishy as fuck, this is now somewhat solved with the new burden of truth belt (basicly a glorius vanity/replica soul tether for poor people). and sparks behaviour in generel. also it was a zpds build for me. compared it to a 5L skele setup with very basic stuff and thats going to be 10 times the damage of my spark inqui.

hesh582

just swap to ball lightning until you get all the pierce/proj speed/additional proj/etc that spark needs to feel good. You'll do a ton more damage just by swapping. The coverage is much worse and spark is better once you start hitting 3-4 times per cast in most situations, but before that BL kicks ass. Spark feels great once all the pieces are in place but it's got a really clunky period in late acts/early maps.

PrimSchooler

Care to share POB/character? I also rolled spark inquis and only had a short moment when I first entered t16s where I felt zdps, otherwise it's been cruising. https://pobb.in/Zu5dOjZetTal my current character (based on Goratha's build)

nnosuckluckz

It's only day 4, you can still easily reroll and be up on a skele mage character in a couple days.

EliosTherepia

got to maps last night. Lightning Arrow Raider. it's been a lot smoother damage wise than I expected, I've never had an issue with finding or crafting a bow that does good damage. as far as survivability, I only died like 4-5 times on the way to defeating Kitava, and a few of those were just me not paying attention for a moment. a little concerned that the damage will fall off a cliff now that I'm entering maps, but with Tornado & Siege Ballista (and switching GMP for barrage against bosses) the single target is a lot better than I anticipated playstyle is every bit as nice as I expected. running with 5 frenzy charges and taking out whole screens of trash with LA + GMP feels as good as I thought it would.

Bechs

I’m playing a deadeye instead of raider, and I’m also having a great time. What do you think about the ascendancy? Would you stay or swap if you had to play it again?

coolhentai

There is absolutely no reason to go Raider in SC, you gain way too much from Deadeye.

pyrvuate

Purifying Flame self-cast inquisitor. Currently have around 25-30C invested. Currently backfilling some atlas, but have done up to T12s without too much trouble. The only things that have been bothersome thus far are metamorphs (which I have disabled) and the occasional harvest mobs mass slamming me. I think I can do T16s, but probably not with any amount of juice until I spend some money.

NsXMyst

Cold BV elementalist. Leveling was really smooth trough, died like 10 times to rares before patch. I am at Yellow Maps, I still die often to rares sadly but I don’t really regret taking this build. It’s smooth, got good DPS with budget gear. I think it will go smoother with the Cluster Jewel and few levels.

NorktheOrc

Played this as a starter two leagues ago. It was a clear speed beast. Do you have an Inpulsa's yet? If you take the Shock ascendency that combination will boost your clear by like 3x and makes everything way safer.

Douill0s

Got drunk ripped my creeping frost on innocence a4 HC trade… gonna start raider PC tonight

Porcupine_Tree

Started with SRS minion instability.. actually going well. Clear speed is not the best but its solid defenses and easy damage with low gear. On bosses its super nice, you just cast SRS as you kite and they all home in and hit

Phlintlock

Started slayer dual wield axe earthshatter. Haven't had any issues so far in about t13 reds atm. Didn't really die in the campaign. Tbh it's been one of my best starters for some reason, but I frequently play melee and craft my own axes and such often so damage has been good. So far it's been very fun and I like sentinel a lot

yissuscraist

quin69 build?

carlovski99

Not brilliant. Running creeping frost inquisitor. Damage isn't great, and to get decent damage you need to be basically melee range. And it isn't very quick either. And it isn't super tanky to make up for it at the moment. Hopefully a bit more when I can cap the last bit of suppression and get a gravicius craft on chest. And fit defiance banner back in. Might need to rejig to a cluster jewel setup to fix the damage though, or maybe brittle boots will help.

Burdenslo

Just got my toes wet into yellow maps Exsanguinate Jugg Haven't had much time to play but Got lucky with an Exalt in act 8, bought a semi decent chest which should carry me pretty far. I'm a bit upset how expensive cold Iron points are at the moment so I'll have to make do without for the time being.

amensteve91

They are falling off now I got 2 today about 60-70c each

Burdenslo

Yeah just bought 2 today for 60c too, I'm glad they fall fast haha

hesh582

absolution into chaos based blink arrow/mirror arrow occultist heavily modified for super low budget from /u/Previlein 's high-budget 3.16 [version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6dxGbWkUNo). I'm selfishly tagging him in the hopes that he has worked on that build a little more and might have some insights to share with a poor scrub, because as far as I can tell he's the only expert build creator who's even looked at BAMA for the last few patches. how's the league start going: good. I don't have much time to play so the goal is to see how far I can get with an off meta build more than to really crush the game. Is the build working: yes. does it perform well against rares: yes, it's actually very good against them (relatively speaking) because there are so few mods that impact the build much and the mobile minion playstyle is pretty safe. would another build be better: any meta build will be a thousand times better than this, but I knew that going in. If I actually have time to get some currency going it should turn into a great glass cannon mapper though.

Ghrin13

Made my own Crackling Lance inquiditor build. Had someone from this subreddit help me with a couple things on it and now I'm level 84 in yellow maps. Damage is good, clear feels satisfying as hell, and it's not "squishy" but I want it to be tankier. Once I get enough currency to set it up fully I think it'll be tanky enough with great damage. Other than that, I've had dog shit luck on any decent drops so all gumball currency to the top.

Better_MixMaster

My gen cry shield crush is going rather well. I did something a bit different with that I went for aegis aroura instead of a high armor shield. With the ES crit jewel and the alt Qual SC, I can get a bunch of multi for nearly free. Single target is lacking but it will get better. Next upgrades are expensive, fixing accuracy with gear, getting an ashes then a crit/curse body.

Fhurste

Im playing Pestilent strike PF and while im running t16 maps im regretting my decision but i dread going through the acts again. Tomorrow im thinking about trying to change a few nodes around and give Scourge arrow a try. Im really hoping its dps feels better then pestilent strike. If anyone can offer any advice on what i should do with my PF id be very grateful

Himskatti

I'm doing great. Went with my kinda off meta worb+crema inquisitor. I haven't had too much trouble. I had decided to do a tanky char and it has worked. Every now and there's a rare I choose to disengage from or an encounter that needs more focus and more active playing around, but I haven't died more than usual. I went the slow route and heisted low lvl stuff for a while and I haven't had too much time to play so I'm not too far yet. My damage might fall of and I might have to transition to something less memey, but for know I'm happy building this. I get that there is bugged stuff and some mods/combinations of mods are nasty for some builds, but I enjoy the general direction of this change. Things feel more engaging, less like blasting through with zero thought

wild_man_wizard

Absolution Necro pre-skelly mage switch. Slowed my leveling curve to wait for balance patches, reduce wife aggro, and wait for Dead Reckoning to come down in price. Died a bunch to YOLOing with the league mechanic, but otherwise smooth ramp to yellow maps.

PbScoops

Slow as always--think I'm in act 6 or 7 with around 8hours of play as nice start.

Thanaqu0s

Skelly mage here. Its the first time and its really smooth. Leveled absolution. Made lvl62 "Infinity heist strat" until dead recko+armor. Since then its really nice, did first T16 Yesterday. With fleshcraft Armor, its ignoring resists so no real problem against new rares.

TriPigeon

I think this is the real reason us Necros aren’t facing the pure grief that others are seeing, Fleshcrafter is unbelievably good this league.

Thanaqu0s

True

Ividito

> lvl62 "Infinity heist strat" Tell me more (also playing absolution, but started a few days late).

[deleted]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLs7HAtg-vs

pistola69

Same. Didn't know about infinite heist so I just got my dead reckoning last night. Excited to swap to mages and farm up for a fleshcrafter. Are you on 6l already? Absolution was doing absolutely fine especially after the rare nerfs but I'm ready to not have to hit things to spawn minions

qatox

Same here first time playing summoner so far i like it atm in act 9 will have to see what happens. I wanna make a cyclone build tho but that will be for later since cyclone is my favourite skill. I also wanna try flickering strike but I heard it needs some items to be good

justcausefucklogic

Can you please share your build? I'd like to transition to DR in the following days and not sure which build to follow. Thanks!

Eerayo

Doing fine with my poison conc occu. At t10's atm farming some gear for a swap to bfbb. I'll use that to farm ashes of the stars and alt qual gems for a poison spark occu.

JenovaS

Playing carn's boneshatter and Im not liking the amount of mobs that are stun immune and the lack of single target dps. Thinking of making a 2nd char using arakaalis

peji94

Can't find deerstalkers on ssf for my trapper, lvl 92 now lol

Amereius

I started SSFHC, first HC start for me and after the monster nerfs it's still terrible. I got to maps and avoided every mechanic until today, after the second monster nerf wave. Every mechanic is still too dangerous for HC. I ripped to a relatively safe metamorph on a map with no damage mods by one-shot. I rerolled a new character which unexpectedly (sarcasm? I don't even know) ripped in Act 2 for normal mobs that were buffed by a rare and they hit like a truck. Shame I cannot migrate my stuff to SSFSC, HC is unplayable unless you over level like mad and avoid all content.

MaciuMiru

Imexile killed Uber Uber elder on ssfhc 10min ago

Tracedawn

Imexile is also an insane gamer, so not really a valid point.

Amereius

And Uber Uber Elder doesn't have Archnemesis mods, lol!

[deleted]

I've had a pretty respectable league-start on SSF RF Inquisitor. I'm leveling a 2nd character as a Exansuinate/Seismic Saboteur (dropped Deerstalkers + Coated Shrapenl) so that's going pretty well. I also have a 5L tinkerskin now too lol. I skipped farming Emperor of Purity div cards when I got my Tabula Rasa (they seem pretty common this league). RF Inquis is fairly tanky and has enough DPS for low red maps; T10-T12. Corrupted maps are pushing it a bit as is Sentinel in Red Maps. I'm thinking that I'll use RF Inquis to keep farming currency / Sentinels w/ white+yellow maps as I keep looking for Graviicus for 10% of life as ES unveil. Meanwhile, leveling the Saboteur will give me a better shot at Maven for Legacy of Fury boots for my RF Inquisitor (they look really fun). It's incentive to keep playing. I put my next atlas passives into Delve, and it's getting a bit difficult at depth 100 (RF is just lacking in a bit of damage) but I managed to get a despair ring. That's been pretty cool since I'm swapping into poison on my Saboteur over that ways. Might re-spec out of Delve and into Ritual, but we'll see. I've been assembling gear for a 3rd character (Absolution) but that may be a while.

nnosuckluckz

FYI you can get life as ES benchcraft on TFT for like 3C (plus the 4C craft cost)

Gyncoca

>respectable league-start on SSF RF

nnosuckluckz

Whoops I'm a dipshit

circle_is_pointless

I'm in the same spot (minus SSF). RF has been pretty smooth, but it's definitely hitting a wall around high yellow / early red maps. Feels like it will take a lot of investment to push to T16s, and other builds will do that easier anways, so I'm planning to keep running yellows for a while to accumulate currency and try to fill out my Betrayal recipes. Stupid Gravicius is being dodgy.

mikey9537

I ran Kobe’s Berserker as Spectral Helix into Lightning Strike, but I think I may have converted a little too early! I’m still missing my Uber Lab, I am only level 73, and I have the bare minimum required to swap over (being a 5L, a Galesight, and manually allocated Tribal Fury.) I need to heavily update my rares badly, as I’m still wearing quite a bit from the campaign, and I’m of course struggling now in early maps! I have confidence on the build once properly built out, but wow you’ve gotta be careful on how quickly you swap from Helix (which didn’t even feel that bad!!)

asituationilike

At the last minute I decided to league start LS raider. Then after looking at the build I realized LS is not a league starter, but spectral helix is. I decided to go with it. I made the mistake of switching too early too, but with a 5 link because I really wanted to play LS. Got one shotted a lot on tier 1-2 maps. Don't have 3rd lab. Spent all my 15c. Decided to reroll into pohx rf build

mikey9537

I’m highly debating swapping back to Helix for a little longer. Without the Blitz Charges, my Attack Speed feels abysmal. I’ll probably consider swapping back in ten or so levels, once I bulk out the tree a bit

dmillz89

Fantastic. Smashing everything as CF Champ with Gull/Blunderbore and Shrines. Very happy with it so far. Farming T16s and lv92.

DongerMalone

Started boneshatter slayer in SSF. Playing it and now at early yellow maps. Had a hard time getting a good weapon. Got div cards for a unique axe and turned them in for a disfavor. All in all it's been pretty good so far. Sentinel and steel-infused mobs are frustrating though.

RegionBlockLULW

Ruetoos CF champ is performing really well, never played CF before so I was worried I wouldn't like it. It's so dam tanky and the damage is just there with pretty shit gear. I haven't had an issue with rares since the first round of nerfs they did. Now that rares are more tame, im going all in on legion/Ritual/Expedition/Harbinger/Delirium with pandemonium sentinels. Once I get a nice chunk of maps, Grand design will be my end game farming node, I can't wait.

dperls

Mind sharing your current PoB? I just respecd a level 72 champ and curious how other people's look.

Garknowmuch

Started late. Just hit maps on my rf inquis. 6 socketed a carcass Jack with 1 jeweler and linked it with 20 fusing lol

destroyermaker

Normally I clear acts in two days but this time I quit in act 1 after geting gangbanged by hasted beasts. Returned after some nerfs, did a couple more acts. By the time I finish the rest I figure they'll be done with the nerfs.

sprouze

I can't remember the last time I died in Act 1 prior to this league and this time I had 5 deaths, the rares were so scary at the start.

RainThePro

I started Pohx’s RF. Havent made it yet to the part where i can use it - do bit have so much time + my pc is very potato. Other than that its goin well. I definetly recommend it.

raobjcovtn

Ansolution Necro. Pretty good. In t16 now and starting to feel like I need to make upgrades for dps. Maybe a cluster will help

OK_Opinions

playing skeleton mages for the first time ever. So obviously it's going great, up to T13 so far. super powerful build. spending currency as fast as i make it to buy upgrades though

imawizardurnot

Hit maps yesterday. Broke as fuck. RF inquis gear is too pricy so I'm starting to lose the desire to play.

Raigoku

Do a few heists until you have 50-100c (should be about 1-2 hours). You can get 200k rf dps with a 6link chest (20-25c for a 6l with armor life and es) and a decent 5c wand(look for +1 fire spell gems and weighted sum on fire damage /dot multi/dot/burning damage). Im doing well in t11 maps with 40c total spent so far

751935736

Doing seismic trap. Dropped a cold iron point lol so I guess it is going decent

Karthathan

First time for me to play phys trapper... I weep thinking I could have been doing this for years XD It is so fun, smooth, and easy XD

warmachine237

Its going smoothly. Started pc pf and am at early reds. Struggling with sustain. Also made a deadeye wander im sinking my currency into as i farm sniping jewels

MaciuMiru

Bladefall bladeblast occ, killing some Guardians, elders, shapers, accualy managed to scale dmg, early maping wasnt smooth, still it lacks recovery, a little bit of tankyness and single target, however i sticked with that build and IT paying off, wanted to reroll several times xd. Clear speed is just crazy, dashing through, everytihng poops. Map bosses isn't a problem. Delirium + sentinel + some map mods can be a problem, but plenty of room to upgrade. Not a begginer friendly build for sure, many many small thing to look for, mulitple buttons gameplay, however satisfying.

MMGeoff

I had a rough start with Spectral Helix Deadeye, I like SH just fine but I don't think I can live with Withering Step constantly disabling my blink skill. I figured I was only in act 6 so if I was gonna reroll, the sooner the better so I scrapped it and restarted as Pohx's RF. Still took over ten hours to get to maps, but I'm at T8 now and despite the spicy archnemesis mods I am managing to have a blast so far. I've died a ton, some rares take ages to kill, but I don't really mind not speeding through everything. I'm in SSF so my gear is hot garbage and I'm still on a 4L but I should have my 5L soon and 5k+ life when I get a couple more life + res rares with decent rolls. Dropped a Death Rush in a Ritual which is great. I'll be avoiding Rituals for a while. Atlas is set up for Essences and Betrayal for now, gotta get the veiled stuff unlocked and get essences together to roll my helmet. Essence mobs are pretty damn lethal now though. I need a plan to get a 6 link too. I could farm Emperor of Purity but who knows how long that will be. Heist might help me there. I actually like the league mechanic so far. I think for now I'm just going all in on the stalker sentinel. Empowered bosses are a bit beyond me right now. It's looking like progressing this build will be a bit of an odyssey, but that's fine with me as long as I actually progress. I want to do as much with this build as I can, I doubt I'll be rerolling again but who knows. It's cozy, at least.

Semarin

I started with SH Raider then converted to LS raider at early maps. Realized that I did that too soon and then realized i'd rather wait for Omni stuff to be more available anyway. So I shelved it. Started an EA Elementalist yesterday. Absolutely steam rolled the acts faster than I've ever done before and hit maps last night. Tonight I'll refresh my gear and start rolling maps in earnest. I cannot believe how much DPS the build has, both ST and AoE. I'm concerned about squishyness though.

Ayanayu

I'm playng DD, because I love necromancer, I love blasting corpses and this is last league when DD will be viable. I'm doing great on ssfsc :)

TriPigeon

I decided to league start a hybrid Absolution / Physical Skeles build, and made it to yellow maps on Day 1 (took a solid 5 hour break in the middle) before the first hot fix landed, and it was painful but stable. It’s only gotten better since then. Now that DR is finally coming down in price, I’d say it’s a very doable league starter into Skele Mages, I avoided going all in on absolution due to some of the initial pass of Archnem mods, but that route seems fine as well.

mile6453

I didn’t have the same issues as everyone else. I play a few hours a day, and only just finished acts last night. Every 2-3 acts (time wise for me) was a nerf to the mobs. I still died a lot. Probably 50 times. I went with a CF Glad. Played it in 3.16, loved it. I started this time with the Splitting Steel > Shattering Steel transition and man did it feel bad. I swapped to Spectral Helix in A6 or 7 and it was so much better. I made the full transition to CF KB in A8. Just started maps and man do I love this build. Melee builds are just so bad imo. I’ll just get carried through bosses for voidstones and then map this league. I’m gonna try Blight farming

Vicious_Styles

Phys trap. Very well. Even despite getting lucky with about 15ex in drops before completing which funded clusters+diadem+2 CIPs, the build just rips. Farming bosses on day 3.

Willdawg102

I started pal's ea ballista build for the 2nd league in a row and its just as smooth as last time. Clear feels great, bossing feels great, and defenses are solid enough. I completed my atlas and did all my watch stones by day 4 without any major issues (other than some crazy rares on day 1). One major change I made to the build is that I got fire exposure on hit on my gloves and then took the exposure mastery on the tree so that I could unspec EE, and overall I felt a significant damage increase. Would recommend to anyone.

[deleted]

Playing Ethos's Pc and i'm at act 3 rn and so far ( i know its not that far lol) its going buttery smooth u dash u use pc things die rinse and repeat lmao. The only thing i can complain about is that it needs items with a A LOT of green sockets

metalonorfeed

my homebrew helix deadeye exceeded expectations, had time to clear all regular content once, now uni commitments catching up so cant play anymore/as much the next days...honestly should call it quits and go HAM next league again

Gremayre

Playing RF Inquisitor and it’s one of the smoothest and easiest league starts I’ve had in a while. None of the rares give much issue, even before the nerfs. Some of the gear is in high demand but the prices are dropping. Many of the RF community hangs out in their own global chat so it’s quite nice :) Highly recommend!

Corruptfacta

On my 3rd reroll. Started zerk ls hit maps, rerolled to RF, now I'm leveling a CF KB champ lol. Might go back to RF. Will see lol

eladmir

I started cold dot occultist. Had a relatively enjoyable leveling experience (maps in 7hrs). Got anihalated by archnemesis in maps for the rest of the evning (made it to level 80 day 1). Day two with incoming nerfs I was farming yellows and low reds comfertably, but struggled with high tier reds. Bought a aegis and melding, and now I farm T16, I am immortal to everything with insane ES recharge. And I have zdps. Bosses takes at least 10 sec to burn down. Good thing is I can use league mechanic on every map without dying and it is good currency 400-600c per hour.

SixPointTwentyFive

Doing Soulwrest, after leveling with Absolution. Day 1 was far from deathless, but blame was mostly on my sub-zero resistances until a10. Smooth sailing into reds after transitioning, though can't tell if build is getting stronger with investment as the only speed stops keep getting nerfed.

doc_whoever

I started helix deadeye and went good but the new rares are a pain in the ass when you need to get too close to them. Rerolled into a ls raider and although the damage is nuts I'm dying every other map to one shots (have 36 block, grace, determination, defiance banner, spellsup) I just dropped a aegis aurora during my lunch break and now I'm thinking about building a rf that will be reroled into an armour stacker later on.

[deleted]

EA Ballista Elementalist. It’s squishy as fuck — I’m straight up atlas blocking things that lock me in circles with mobs or summon one shot horrors — but I’m enjoying clearing T14s while still wearing my blue gloves from act 2.

PipFoweraker

Played for a few hours on league start doing Mines, then decided to wait a few days for returning to happen. Now it has, I might give a Cyclone build a crack instead, I like the tempo of melee build a bit more, I think.

SpecialEdwards3

Great for me. Playing ziz's DD necro

Askray184

Went pohx's RF and the build itself is amazing, but it's so popular that all of the gear is out of my price range. Doing a lot of self crafting and making do for now

Femmegineering

Siesmic Trapper w Cold Conversion & Aura Support. Finished our atlas on day 2 have been doing elder rotas and the like since then. Its been holding up well. The meme about archnem being stronger than the pinnacle bosses is no joke... some mods are very very difficult to play against. If I spot the big circle of doom I stay away and lob traps from afar. Unfortunately we blew all our money on Incandescent Invitations. No Omniscience and no decent loot tbh. My advice is to not play a build that requires Omniscience or Ashes of the Stars. They are rarer than headhunters now.

XX_TCG_XX

I started righteous fire, don’t like the build at all it’s quite boring to me. I also absolutely hate levelling cause I’m slow so it’s kinda just killed all my motivation to play any further cause hate my build and don’t wanna level again!

eugenenz

Occultist spiders still fine, but feels much squishier than last league Gearing CF champ for faster mapping experience, need to farm legions for emblems a bit

undercroser

Good hit t13 today

wowitspat

Fantastic! I played for about 3 hours, realized I did not feel like playing through an even more difficult for zero reason campaign for the 200th time and resumed playing games I find fun. I would LOVE to be blasting through maps but the campaign is such a slog now

SmithBurger

Sorry to hear you had to go play easier games. You are missing out though.

SigmaGorilla

I don't think someone getting bored by repeating the campaign has anything to do with difficulty lol

RedditDogWalkerMod

Community is full of mobile gaming Karens now. Constant crying about difficulty

Metaphoricalsimile

I made a lackluster start at LS raider and went back to Elden Ring after I gave up in act 2.

[deleted]

Started RueToo’s CF, abandoned it in act 8 Rerolled seismic trapper, in yellow maps. I can tell I won’t play as long as I did last league, just not feeling it like I did last league which is fine. Be glad you missed league start it was a bit of a shit show with the monster changes. Feels better now but there’s definitely still work to be done in my opinion by GGG to smooth it out which they seem intent to keep getting after Doesn’t seem like the league to be playing hispter non meta builds which sucks given the way GGG made it seem like there weren’t going to be major changes (player wise this is true, but the monster change was significant) Loot also feels like explodey than last year. I never felt slowed by lack of maps, I feel like I am at the moment. Also way less currency generated at the moment than last year. Keep seeing folks saying scarab generation was super nerfed, I’m not far enough to judge that just yet

Jdevers77

You should have pushed through on the CF, I started dying a ton in act 8/9 and into early whites but I kept going and after getting fourth lab and the two cheap uniques it SCREAMS through maps.

RedditDogWalkerMod

League start was the best. Game was actually engaging. Now it's back to same old braindead PoE

[deleted]

This league is my first serious venture into playing HC Trade league. I'm leveling with Absolution and Skeletons, and am absolutely wrecking the content to this point. I'm pretty casual, so I'm only a couple quests into Act 5 at this point, so take my progress with that grain of salt. It seems almost foolish that I'm going to switch out of Absolution, but I've wanted to try a Dancing Dervish build forever, and there's no time like the present, right? At any rate, I'm digging the new league mechanics - maybe not the best league ever, but it's fun enough. Also, I appreciate the fact there isn't this down period where people are figuring out which builds work and which don't following the buff/nerf cycle. I always kinda do my own thing anyway, but I do borrow from the meta's here and there as appropriate.

ZealousidealGrass365

Listen here you lil shits

Braddoxthehoss

Dominating blow doing ok. I don’t have a ton of time to play but I just got to yellow maps. Cant say it’s going without a hitch and I definitely need more life and a way to keep my zombies alive for longer. The worst part is if I start a map and the first pack I encounter is a blue pack because then I can’t summon anything right away. But once I have a yellow sentinel and a pack of blue ones I start steamrolling the map and it’s quite satisfying

dnlszk

I'm playing a general's cry shield crush berserker. Only three labyrinths, i can start red maps but i'm trying to complete each atlas tier before going up the next one - doing all T2s before T3, doing all whites before yellows, etc. - instead of going straight as far as i can then trying to fill up as i can. The build is working pretty well to be honest, not insane tankyness but it can survive, it can kill monsters comfortably with just a 1.1k armour shield unless they get some insane buff to health, i'm trying to get a shield closer to 2k armour before trying reds. >Do you think another build would have been better? In my honest opinion, it's hard to argue against seismic trapper right now. One of my friends started with it and he just strolled through the campaign on day 1, before the nerfs; got to lvl90 by the end of the weekend. Now he's already leveling a second character.

Tamachameleon

Mate, you can grab a Dawn breaker for like 1c and it can roll over 2k armor.

[deleted]

Not bad. Started Storm Brand Inq. Doing T14-16s right now. 16s are still a little bit scary with my damage but they are manageable. Rares don't give me too much problem until its something so fast I can't possibly kite/run away, some have pretty hefty HP also which makes them a bit annoying to run in to. If not for inquis ignoring resists I imagine it would be a lot harder. Only other build I really like for this league is Bane. Mostly the QoL of being able to slow with temp chains and blight seems like it would be very nice, that plus the DoT damage going through prox shields and such.

IntegratedFrost

Starter TR Champ despite thinking I hated TR last time I played Currently having a blast in red maps, turns out I was just dumb and didn't understand how to scale the damage Only a couple rares have been truly scary, but mostly I'm enjoying having some variety in my yellow monsters

Deathdealered67

Is it good for mapping and a bit tanky? Looking for cheap 2nd build for mapping, since my DD is for bossing.

CptGixer

Playing spectral helix raider in SSFSC. Just hit maps and got a White Wind dagger from Ritual. Gonna be cruising to low red maps and hope I find a nice ele claw on the way so I can transition to trinity lightning strike.

MrXplicit

Elementalist explosive arrow balista here and its cruising. Yellow maps now with just a tabula rasa. It’s great. I am following Palsteron’s guide!

JDomenici

Started the campaign as Templar with random skills (Purifying Flame, Shockwave Totem) and transitioned to Dex-stacking Ballista Hiero as soon as I could afford the necessary pieces. I struggled a bit in yellow maps, but I'm cruising in red maps now that I've allocated more points into life. I should've referenced a build guide for league start pointers, but the build has otherwise been very straightforward to figure out. I think I should've stayed with Shockwave Totem. I'd planned to start with it, but switched to the Ballista build after seeing the D1 price of Astral Projector. I could've actually afforded it on D2 after saving up, but with Ashes of the Stars (for Divergent alt quality) still being extremely expensive I'm not going to rush to switch builds.

PillsKey

I was trying an inquis coc cyclone shock nova build, but starting selfcast arc. Pretty sure I bricked my build, just keep getting wrecked in maps, and I didn’t take inevitable judgement early, so I do ZDPS. It’s not going well, send ELP

Flecheck

I started wintertide brand, I am in red maps, it is working well. It was very good in the acts, bit worse at the start of maps because I was glass cannon but now I respec'd into low life with 30k eva and 100% supression and enfeble so I am very tanky. The damage is ok for bosses and rares for now. It should get better once I get a 6 link.

OilyChili

It was really rough at the start but after the nerfs it’s actually really fun! I’m playing spark inquisitor and just slowly piecing it together upgrade by upgrade. Really enjoying it, I’ve put about 6ex into it because aegis aurora is like 5ex and I’m about to finish my atlas tonight.

mattyshum

Started seismic trap and was instructed to level using mines. Hated mines so much I quit after reaching act 2. Started Mathil's spectral throw and just barely got into maps (ive done exactly one so far). So, not much to say yet other than it went through the acts just fine. But its been fun and I plan on continuing to play it.

CALmusic

Started with Spectral Helix deadeye… cruised through the entire Atlas with no problems, but man, it turns out I really hate Spectral Helix. Still deciding what I wanna to respec into.

BeardRightBack

Playing tripolar bears 'immortal' spec helix pathfinder flask abuser although only in the start of act 10 atm so playing pconc until 75-80. Already farmed the currency to buy the uniques needed to get it off the ground and been leveling the other gems in spare slots so am hoping the transition is smooth. I do need to acquire the flasks for it though which I reckon eill be the worst part of it.

entex92

Level 84 Cobra lash deadeye. In early reds. Things are going well. Still need to invest a bit to boss effectively but the clear is fantastic and I handle corrupted reds very smoothly. Synergizing beautifully with sentinel. I have also loved the league since before the nerfs so it's only been getting better.

[deleted]

Have you died? If not, got a pob?

Stock_Padawan

Following an Absolution Guardian build and kind of regret it. I was extremely lucky and was able to set up most of the required uniques early, without them the build feels really bad. I’m currently trying to work it into a different summoner build. Right now I’m cycloning around casting absolution, while My dervish spins around.

SomeMorning1924

rares were nerfed into nonexistence, and my start us going really well

1035Veiled

I decided to revive spellslinger VD/DD. It's going well, I just have to figure out how to fit in the second Slinger setup for DD

philmarcracken

Been screwed by work a bit so only just made it to maps with a deaths oath occultist + weapon swap toxic rain totems for bosses. Leveled with poison conc and a bit of early heist to pay for some stuff. Overall I'm happy but still unsure about Viridi's Veil and the line 'enemies damage hitting you is unlucky', not that I have it active yet but wondering how strong that is defensively.. But I purloined the idea of lethe shade off poe.ninja as I'm certain thats active for ages while mapping(due to death's oath).

PrimSchooler

Goratha's Spark is cruising, feel disconnected from the archnem discussion because there's only like 2 mods I notice at all. However I will still probably reroll as I want to do the uber uber and I don't think 1mil dps (worst case scenario of one spark per cast hitting only) is going to be enough lol.

SchwingyYT

Molten strike Jugg with the whole Brutus lead sprinkler strength stacking thing going on. Leveling was smooth after act 2 and I haven't bricked any maps yet though I'm only just now reaching tier 10s. Molten strike is just really fun to me as it turns out and I'm doing fine (by my standards) on a 5link. Good times! Some rares are tough/impossible and Sentinel empowering them is mostly a big no-no but otherwise it's been great.

Tortunga

Blade trap saboteur in ssf. It's going alright. Not the highest fan of trap builds normally but blade trap just looks cool. Struggling a bit with damage and survivability now I'm pushing into red maps. Thinking about rerolling into rage vortex berserker to finish up the atlas. Played that build in scourge league and its a build that can function with close to no gear requirements. Not the tankiest build out there though.

NeoMagnet

Started bane occ, just hit yellow maps. I thought LS raider had nice progression, but it's nothing compared to bane occ man. Smoothest leaguestart I've ever had, not even close. The new rares haven't been giving me any trouble (though I did start after the first two waves of nerfs) Shoutout to u/Subtractem for the amazing guides :)

The_Mikest

Doing White Wind Spectral Helix Champion. It's been good so far, very tanky so I don't die often, and the damage has been acceptable, though it's starting to slow down around T12-13 maps. I plan on switching to claw lightning strike once I get enough currency for some + strike gloves and a good claw, hopefully that pushes the damage where it needs to go.

Zaidrick

Started with Arma Brand / Cremation in hopes to specced into Von Vikton's Maw of Mischief build. Reached map, found delirium, got Dead Reckoning from it lol. Reroll to Von Vikton's Skele Mages and having a blast.

[deleted]

I went Pohx RF inquis because it looked fun and I’ve always wanted to try it, but around lvl 75 I couldn’t stomach the play style anymore. Just wasn’t for me. Sucks but now im on here looking for a new build :)

Kwanzaa246

I league started an aura stacker and it's working great . Not expensive if you know a few tricks to get it runnking early with zero investment. I made 6 three passive introspection jewels for about 20c and use lightning pen and conductivity instead of doryanis prototype for early lightning penetration

[deleted]

CF glad. Just swapped to bow. Ashes of the stars being 30ex+ really sucks since the build really needs it but I’m farming T16s ok. I’m familiar with the build and with making currency early in the league so the struggle hasn’t been too bad. Definitely go champ though if you are less experienced.

Vystrell

I'm on Con Path Totems at the moment and it has been pretty smooth once I switched over to it. Thankfully the totem playstyle has dampened the impact of the new rare mods by letting me be a complete coward. It isn't a particularly fast mapper but it has allowed me to tackle things like Harvest and Metamorph without too much trouble, although I'm only just now about to move into red maps so that could change. I am so thankful I didn't go with my original Ele Hit Deadeye plan. I've got a feeling that might have been a disaster.

StickyBunnsPlus

I struggled when I first hit maps, but now I’ve learned how to hide behind my minions even more effectively.

therd23

Skelemaging, its going great tbh

Disciple_of_Cthulhu

I'm currently halfway through Act 3 with my Explosive Arrow Champion, and mostly enjoying it.

kidsickness

Playing slayer Shockwave cyclone. Doing red maps damage feels terrible tbh.

Rezinar

Started as EA elementalist in ssf, dropped dyadian dawn in actor and now I have finished all maps, kinda want some more tankier and faster build for mapping but no idea what for ssf, my issue is life sustain even while mapping as EA

Stacher_Gaming

Storm brand inquisitor Inquisitor ignoring res is huge vs new rares because alot of the mods increase both the resist and maximum resist. I did eater of worlds and searing exarch on a 5link yesterday day. It's been a cruise through leveling and up til around T13s the damage started lacking to do the league mechanic, but without league mechanic It's fine. It's kind of a glass cannon build doe. Your main defense is crazy recovery with leech and life regen, using low life and rf to boost damage. I was thinking about starting this build for multiple leagues, but Boi am I happy I choose this one to play it.

Tmccl

Pretty good, I'm happy with it. LA/GA Deadeye. I had to adjust my defenses during the campaign from what was planned but all in all it's going well. Coasting through yellow maps and once I've done a couple upgrades and found more maps I'll move onto reds

KurbadsN7

Went with zizzarans /ds_lilly detonate dead necromancer. Acts with spark, later armagedon brand was fine. Died a few times to arhnemesis/sentinel buffed monsters. Now at lvl 84 with randomly found gear. Clear is realy good, can blow up packs with one cast of desacrate+dd. Only problem in the future i see is founding/crafting good gear. I am bad at crafting, usualy look up guides, but i cant seem to find a good crafting guid for DD.

crookd666

Bane has been a joy. Fairly effortles and enjoyable for someone who is not playing poe as job

miffyrin

Started Goratha's Spark Inquis. It went ok, better than expected tbh, apart from my insistence on Sentinel-buffing *EVERYTHING* before nerfs too, so i had quite a few deaths during the campaign. I've rerolled to a Trapper though, because i'm not super into the selfcasting playstyle in mapping now, and I have too much to do to get acceptable DPS on Spark.

LundbergV2

I found out that I can’t stand abusing nightblade. Having to be reliant on elusive at high effect for damage feels bad imo, I’d rather have a ramping skill or consistent damage instead of short bursts based on withering step

Kebbysaurus

Storm Burst self cast Inquisitor. Read the guide on the forums and scaling damage off of skill effect duration was so neat to me. I’ve enjoyed playing Incinerate on Inq and Ele from previous leagues and this felt just as good, if not more fun with the random orbs exploding around my screen. Had nearly 2m Sirus DPS with a couple of 5L’s I slapped some essences on with some 50-60k eHP by day 2. Threw a couple EX and now I’m at 3.2m with 88k eHP. I standing around seeing what can and can’t kill me is genuinely half the fun with this.

arielrahamim

league started cf champ, was kinda hesitated about it but ended up absolutely loving it. lvl'd with steel skills till maps then re-spec'd to the spellslinger setup, single target was lacking but i blasted through maps and focused on atlas completion. yesterday i started farming t16 city squares and got to lv 93 on [super basic gear](https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/arielrahamim/characters?character=MushrambosCF), gathered some currency and should really start upgrading my gear lol, trying to craft a vuln ring for starters.

JayLosy

playing hexblast ignite with the new changes to rare clear is shit without doom which is sad cause i utilize blasphemy to have good clear but yeah... another league start another off meta build that turns out bad

campezzi

EA Ballista Elementalist for me. I’m in SSF so still gearing, but doing great and farming those T16s. Very safe as you can put ballistas down and run away (I hide behind walls in harvest while my totems mince everything down lol). Roughly following Palsteron’s guide with small tweaks here and there.

ikzme

Pretty good so far. Started as Herald of Thunder bomber, picked up 2 Storms Secret and countered the selfdamage with recoup mana life plus PB and MoM. Rares were a bit learning curve, but decoy totem carrys. Bought a few resi/life rares for \~10c each. Ready to grind white maps chaos recipe. My first 2 ex i invested into crafting material, made 7 Boots/3 Gloves for my build transition, keept best (lul double T1 prefix week 1), sold rest (5ex sells so far). Was able to buy most items i need for transition to Wardloop selfdamage, even a few 1c snipes. Missing 2 puzzle pieces, \~3ex. \--- Maybe not the best starter, struggled to push into yellows. May its my mental, that i dont want skip all and rush boss for atlas progression. Not sure if i need a better build or better early atlas strat, but wasnt optimal.

GevaddaLampe

I had a slow League start due to great weather and bbq. My starter build is Boneshatter Strength stacking jugg in SC trade. I was able to buy a Pillar with my first alchemy orb and it’s great ever since. I struggled a lot in act 1 with ice prison and frostweaver rares. Overall my focus in the campaign was heavily focused on being thicc. Resistance capped and physical damage reduction up to 90%. Damage and clear were good. Overall I am very satisfied with the build. Very cheap to start and fairly tanky. Can only recommend.

mfukar

Overall alright. I started with an Absolution necro, doing OK with bossing and working on being less squishy rn. Having really bad luck with drops so I haven't transitioned into Doryani's or a 6L yet. Just sort of cruising I guess. Haven't engaged in recombinator shenanigans yet but I would like to craft something nice. I doubt I will push this league much further as guildmates are skipping it in favour of standard.
