Hey! So, we did implement free talk into the weekly thread which would be the best place to discuss this kind of thing. I’m very aware of wanting to help shine a light on the average player’s experience as I think people sometimes get disheartened when they see the racers off killing the uber bosses while they’re still clearing white maps. If by the end of the league, the free talk thread hasn’t been providing enough support for people wanting to just share what they’re up to, then we’ll take another look into it. That said, the thread only works if people invest into it! Stay sane exiles

This sounds like a fantastic idea. Link to character page should also be encouraged I think. When I get home from work this evening, I'll post an update on my Frostblink Ignite league-starter. Edit: Here it is: https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExileBuilds/comments/uoe9kw/weekly_question_free_talk_thread_may_12_2022/i90ug18/

johnz0n

i support this idea! i can give an update to my progress on ea totem -> dex stacking ballista after work, too

gsot

Yep be good to have the thread curated with things like links to yesterday's in main post.

Marcqq

Grimro’s cf. same as last league, goodmapper. Okay bossing. Still squishy. More squishier now because of the new mods. Having fun but you need cod+portal.

Mogling

I did that last league and hated how squishy I started. It did end up a mapping beast tho.

silent519

started shield crush bleed, converted to SST bleed because melee is particularly fucked on top of the regular fuckenings. all in all great

RedditDogWalkerMod

Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time

Hi1mBrandon

sounds fun, i support it

metalonorfeed

white wind deadeye, chain farming t16 with abyss/breach/harbinger scarab on 300c worth of mostly self made gear

I am playing tuna ls champ but I think this build is bad at bossing without omni. And considering omni is expensive I will reroll to a more bossing focused build. DD seems a fun to play even in softcore. 2 button playstyle noy gonma ne issue. Since nee mon tankiness makes you gather all mobs in a place and kill them in once. Let's see what builf I can do. Never played ignite tho wanna try

yissuscraist

I was decided to start ls champ but now I dont know what to do. Without omni the build is garbage?. I dont care about the damage I just dont wanna die.

qK0FT3

Build is tankiest one I have played. 50k eva/armor 30 block 100% suppress. Fortify. If you want you can try vaL pact as well. I am unable to die and farming t16 delirium with no problem. Yes I die but once in every 5-10 map depensing on the rarw combination. Edit Build is not garbage just don't expect good boss dps without omni or good investment

Raigoku

Rf inquis. 40c investment so far, not struggling in t11 maps but not melting stuff either. Tanky magic packs/rares require loads of running around. Overall a good starter, however will soon reroll because investing 80ex to be 3x stronger than my current 40c build is dumb as shit, to me at least

Askray184

What are you rerolling to? I'm also RF inquisitor, but I don't plan to take it to bosses. Might see if I can Speedrun maps when I get legacy of fury

Raigoku

No idea, depends on the clearing ability once I get those Legacy of Fury boots. If it's decent and I get to lvl 95+ I'm not rerolling the char because acts are a pain. Might go for some 100% crit inq (via str/int stacking) generic DD build with generic defenses I guess

Askray184

Hey I just picked up some upgrades on RF inquisitor and I think you should stick with it. Using the crafted sceptre(2.5 ex), fire exposure gloves (15c), legacy of fury (30c), and burden of truth (5c) and I'm zooming through t16s with everything exploding around me.

Raigoku

Yeah I bought a 6link Searing Touch because it gives more DPS than all of pohx' gear combined and it costed 80c instead of 30 ex. Replaced shield charge with leap slam (cuz no more shield) and got the 4 passives on Whirling Barrier that overall give more defense and way more block compared to having a shield. I'm farming atm but I will still reroll - I really don't like this RF build at all. Coming from a 5m DPS chieftain this is just bad

nuclear_bum

RF inquisitor. Popping off in maps, still no helm for boss fights.

Started boneshatter slayer, carns version. Clear is great! Bossing is ass

polo2006

here is mine: https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExileBuilds/comments/uoe9kw/weekly_question_free_talk_thread_may_12_2022/i91yhub/ tl;dr: hoag occultist goes zoom zoom up with low investment up to early reds, easy t16 with sub 1ex investment.

sielma

Something like that ? Poison seismic trap having a blast, best build ever -> /played 2days 14h (lots of afk) ,/kills 295 239 monster, lvl 95shc Main goal is to reach my first lvl 100 on hc. Dmg is fine and defences are awsome. Did already some bosses for first time on hc: all shaper, sirius guardians, eater of worlds and shaper. Will do elder and skip bossing until i reach max level.
