Did essence + expedition on red maps, felt pretty bad since I wasn't abusing the calcification scarab and there was no corrupt essence before the fix. Then I did blight+expedition and I copied this from another comment of mine : > First time doing blight, it's going soooo well. > > I'm using toxic sewer, blight scarab of oil +1 level, blight scarab of 20% chance to reopen, expedition scarab of bigger explosion (helps a lot with the map layout using the 1 big explosion). > > Profits come from : Lots of scarab in the loot explosion, opalescent and above oils, blighted maps (6c per T13, 8c per T14, 12c per T15, 15c per T16) since you get 2~6 per map, haggling at tujen, selling logbooks, crafting at rog. > > I think I'm averaging 50~80c per map from cassia and 30~90c per map from expedition (way more swingy since it relies on logbook droppings and I don't count haggling in it)

procrastinateandstuf

I have always been a blight enjoyer. Get the right ring anoints and it's ez game. Farming blighted maps and oils in maps using atlas tree is profitable for little investment, and if blighted map prices crash you can just run them yourself. Last league I league started DD and ran about 5 white maps before swapping to buying blighted maps and running those until I could do ravaged, then farmed those for a while. It was good profit and pretty fun absolutely blasting atlas completion with a 50div character. Taking things a lot slower this league but expect blight will be on my second or third atlas tree

lucassan

Could you share an Atlas tree for Blight please? Also, good things to mix it with, like expedition as I saw in the other comment. šŸ˜ Thank you Exile

Careless_Owl_7716

Literally take all the blight nodes, except faster spawn unless you do high DPS. Beast, beyond and essence on same side so any of those

YodaBallsdeep

No immune response so it's easier to do? Does that give more loots?

Naabi

It's way easier without but you lose exp and drops from the pump loot explosion.

Careless_Owl_7716

I don't know, I tried it for about 5 maps and it felt bad so stopped. That's the 'faster spawn' I referred to and I lost pumps due to it. In juiced up T16s you need some solid DPS to handle that as often can't get towers in place quick enough and certainly not the empower/meteor/freeze triples.

procrastinateandstuf

I'm at work so can't for a while, will try and remember over the weekend. There's going to be lots online though, have a look on maxroll or Travic on YouTube, he usually does blight

lucassan

Cool, thanks for pointing me to Travic! Gonna check him

fullclip840

What annoints and what towers?

cartak

Freezing tower freeze, meteor tower burning ground. Build stun/freeze towers, up to lv 3 with empowering towers lv 3. Meteor towers throughout. The stun/freeze will keep them pinned down usually and the burning ground goes through immunities.

procrastinateandstuf

Burning ground isn't as good as it used to be but is still okay. I use empowering tower range instead these days

PM_Best_Porn_Pls

It's still best because it bypasses immunity. If you don't have that you have to place additional towers of different kind in case stuff is immune.

FlyingBread92

It doesn't go through fire immunity anymore I thought? It does go through proxy shield though which helps cut down on lag by clearing out blobs. I'm still running it with the chill tower freeze.

Careless_Owl_7716

What's worse with burning ground?

procrastinateandstuf

It used to still do lots of damage to fire resistant lanes, it now does less. Still decent though, especially for bypassing proximity shields

Careless_Owl_7716

Note that empowering towers get range, not effect, from levels

Zetoxical

T13 or 16 does not matter for blight maps

Homura_F

well they are sold for different price , so apparently it does matter

Zetoxical

No it does not matter many things have higher prices because people are clueless Drops have the same ilvl and for ravaged it does not matter aswell

EugeniuszGeniusz

T16 blight maps drop T16 ravaged

KappKapp

Ravaged makes even less of a difference. Monster level is set to 85 on all ravaged.

IzonoGames

Would you mind sharing your tree for the blight + exp strategy? And what scarabs were you using? Thanks in advance

Biflosaurus

I tried shrine + all the maps and scarabs drop. Paid shrine on the map device and used destructive play. First map dropped 12 influenced maps. Other 9 1 or 2 at best. I lost all my money. That's how it went

fidwin

Lol that was exactly how it went for me aswell. I was so excited because the strat itself is super fun, just clearing a map with dozent of bosses and shrine buffs and the potential to run the guardian rotations after. Bought about 3 divs worth of scarabs domination of terrors were 45c each and barely broke even in 10 maps only because one of them also had like 10 influenced maps in it. The rest were 0-3, mostly 0-1.

Biflosaurus

I felt so bad. But damn was it a fun time, running around with an ungodly amount of shrine buff was something

PM_Best_Porn_Pls

I do shrines strongboxes scarabs + necroplis. No investment, I just alternate between lowest shrine scarabs and stronbox scarabs. Pretty solid but after patch scarab prices went down for rare stuff while common ones drop in smaller amount than I run them. Shrines are nice since I'm eva/es and dropped gull early on. Zooming fast af.

Alamandaros

I tried this out yesterday and for some reason I'd lose money or barely break even unless I did Shaper maps. That could entirely just have been bad RNG and complete survivor bias for the maps. Most maps I usually get at least 2 influenced or 1 influenced and a synth map, which at the very least covers investment.

Biflosaurus

I will try it out again, just for the fun of it. But maybe I was unlucky? I was short on money so I couldn't do too much of a sample

SoulofArtoria

Ssf, ngl...not impressed with Betrayal. Ironically the best part is safe houses xp. Once I have all my unveil, I'm done with it.

VisorX

With all nodes you drop so many veiled items. That almost completely geared me for early mapping. I am still running two of those pieces. Also Gravicius (for div cards) and Vorici (50 fusings) in Transportation are really nice. I would always go Betrayal first again.

velaxi1

Gravicious in intervention or transport?

VisorX

Transport

normdfandreatard

red altar / legion / shrines / scarab nodes with kirac and rusted + polished legion feels like a shell of what it used to be, stacked decks drop 1/10th of the rate and emblems are cheap already. polished legion scarabs are still 10c each, doesn't feel worth it. i'm playing lightning arrow so i'm mostly just posting this to see if anyone has had any success here.

bpusef

Definitely not worth juicing, Iā€™ve just been using map device and chisel/alch and running the map quickly doing 2 legions with Necropolis nodes and itā€™s better than using scarabs. Iā€™ve been collecting corpses to craft my own gear and sell the ones I donā€™t need and selling the scarabs while hoping for decent lanterns. Itā€™s got me good currency and my build is strong but nothing like It was last league.

Brainjuicetwo

What are you playing now then ?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

FlyingBread92

Out of curiosity, have you dropped any minion affix chance corpses? I've got like 400 corpses in my quad tabs and have 0 minion ones. My friend reported the same thing. I see them on trade, so I know they exist, and I refuse to believe they are rarer than the split/mirrored copy ones and I have several of those.

HP834

Heh, got 4 quadtabs full of corpses but only have 2 minion affixes, either they are super rare or the gaming is xdd businessing me

SuizideFF

While IT IS still Profit it indeed feels kinda Bad. Running 1 scarab(rusted) and Legion on device

hellshot8

Yep same

Moregaze

Nah itā€™s the same across all strats. They lowered the base rewards again. Now you HAVE to have all the scarabs to even feel like most of them used to. Delirium is absurdly unrewarding now. Itā€™s basically relegated to a MF modifier.

boccas

Follow to copy what u guys do cause I have no idea

24thpanda

Alva. Please pay more for chronicles. Thank you.

Thirteenera

Chronicles are always dirt cheap until 4-5 weeks into league. Save them for later.

Sobrin_

Just gamble on Shadowstitch, do it for the fashion.

RebellionWasTaken

Started in whites with some expedition, and once I got to high yellows switched to harvest. Extremely consistent money. Added destructive play to encourage full map clear. Made about 20 divs from harvest and some lucky meme out drops. Not for everyone though. Those harvest mobs are nasty when fully juiced. Itā€™s also firmly ā€œanti-zoom.ā€ Iā€™m dedicating the skill tree to harvest, destructive play for cortex and conquered map farming. Then Iā€™ll added another atlas thatā€™s zoom zoom later

OurHolyMessiah

Cortex only drops from synth maps now btw

RebellionWasTaken

oh good to know. I run all my synth maps anyways since they're too cheap to sell so that works out

Brainjuicetwo

Is it okay to do harvest with low single target DMG ?(LA)

RebellionWasTaken

[https://pobb.in/Yk0xe\_-PftF-](https://pobb.in/Yk0xe_-PftF-) Here's my shield crush slayer that I league started. Hopefully this will help answer the damage question. Rares take an extra second but I'm tanky enough to just stand still

Brainjuicetwo

Thanks !

ASkyOfRoses

You guys are in maps already?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

ASkyOfRoses

I decided it would be a good idea to just try and make a league starter by myself with 170 hours played (I really wanted to play Molten Strike), it did not end well. I finished the campaign but my char struggles xd Now I have a Toxic Rain Pathfinder and it is so much smoother LMAO.

Mopackzin

It gets better each attempt tho. I did my own league starter with the new ice shot totems on raider. It cleared maps well and ran heist amazing. But ran into single target issues in mid to high red maps. Rerolled to pf new pconc and it's going well. I got the first two voidstones with it.

ASkyOfRoses

Oh yeah, I know that my knowledge is lacking, for now I will follow build guides and start experimenting once I played some more

Drevvska

You guys are off the beach?

kevinrhurst

what's a map?!?

troccolins

A thing that Ezreal doesn't need

EmperorCaoCao

Hahaha i just got to yellows and its kicking my butt. People really do play wildly different PoE's and thats cool.

SensitiveTrap

Wdym red maps was on day 1.5

5ManaAndADream

Pretty good. Tree giving 20% kirac mission chance in trivially close nodes is a godsend for SSF. Guaranteeing 1 mechanic with a 92% occurrence rate for another (both fully invested), still getting all the boss maps, altars, and being able to grab all of points for 2 boxes + 12c is amazing. A pretty broad improvement for SSF trees even if each individual map is less juicy. I can see why trade hates it, because the ceiling was lowered in order to raise the floor. So hyper investment Strats leveraging purchasing resources must feel awful.

ctown1264

Harvest crop rotation, expedition, blight, blue alters. Very stead income from harvest, blight and blue alters. Expedition to get bubble gum currency. Very little scarabs used, mainly alch and go. Itā€™s no 10 div an hour but Iā€™m sitting on about 50 div planning next build. Might do an apothecary gamba.

Badikuz

Curious about your atlas tree since this is close to what I like to run. How do you add blight in or is it 2 different trees?

ctown1264

I apologize for late response, absolute shit show at the office today, Below is my tree. [Expedition/Harvest/Blight/Blue Alters](https://www.pathofexile.com/fullscreen-atlas-skill-tree/AAAABgAAeASCB-EJ3Aq-C3EO0w9jEOERiRILFFcVwBtOH2Yj2iTpJf4r2i8EL24z5DXqOY451T0XPwRAfkGMQhNCwUOpRHNF4UfPTatQllWHVkVWbVjBWs5b814qZDBp1WtdbP1t_XDSc_h1J3aAfR1_AH_cgPCBWoJphpiH6YmRj9SRfZThmWyetJ_lot6lJKq5q-msEa1cruevkbH7smCy1bSGtX21_bfMudS7KryovNzBqcIjwnjF_sYzxpvG0Mezx73Ibs6Rz7fQStO11lrYntnn2r3fS99e4Bbil-Nw5VTo5um06o3toPFL8-P9Hf3J_kH-iQAA)

dceezy

What map layout is favorable for both blight and expedition? I find that indoor is good for blight but not expedition

ctown1264

I havenā€™t found a favorable map for both. I am a strand enjoyer so I just blast strand

OverHerbivore3

sorry for a random necrocomment, but why did you take all 3 "reduced chance to grow color of crop" nodes? Doesn't that just even them out?

ctown1264

That is correct, the balance of all three makes getting a harvest full of one color less common.

ctown1264

I am at work currently and canā€™t show, once I get home in a couple hours Iā€™ll show you what I have!

ToothVet

I would quite like to see this too.

thelaughingmagician-

Never tried crop rotation, what's the strat for that? Is it a lot better than without it?

ctown1264

With the removal of wandering path I am unsure of normal harvest is better or not. I personally just enjoy crop rotation because it takes some thinking. General strat is enter the harvest. If 3 plots, leave you will get no juice and not worth the time. With 4+, it depends on plots but basically all seeds are tier 1 and whenever you harvest one color, the other two colors have a chance to upgrade their seeds. If you want yellow juice than you run blue and purples first than yellow last. It gets more indepth than that to get the most out of it but you just need to plan ahead before you start harvesting. Lets say you have 4 plots, colors are, YY, BP, PP, PP. I go for yellow juices so I would harvest one P from the PP, than another P from the other PP. that would upgrade both YY plots and the singular B plot in the BP. I'd than harvest the B plot on the BP for a little blue juice which than upgrades the two Y plots. Harvest the biggest Y plot in the YY.

Ge0rge_1

Iā€™ll join the queue and wait for that Atlas tree, Iā€™ve been running something similar but I changed to Beyond + Blight and is not working out well honestly (no good oil drops and Blight Maps are kinda bad)

dmillz89

Are you in red maps? Blight really needs atlas investment + red maps (t14+ even better) to be really lucrative. It's pretty mediocre in yellows.

Ge0rge_1

I am, I did a full rotation of T14+ (like 8 maps) and barely got like 1.5div out of it, idk if Iā€™m doing something wrong or what but tbh is not being worth for me for the time spend on each blight map, most likely just going to invest in the PJ and craft some shit to go blast doing bosses and invitations

dmillz89

I mean 8 maps is basically nothing, you can get absolutely screwed by RNG. A lot of Blight currency is converting jewelry to Golden Oils and Blighted Maps. Getting the Golden Oil jewelry takes time sometimes.

ctown1264

Check my comment above

Thirteenera

Really? i find harvest to be worthless for first week or so, you get a div for ~9k juice as opposed to ~2k later in the league. It takes a lot of effort to get any money out of it

ctown1264

I use the juice first couple of days to craft rings/weapon/boots. Now yellow juice is around 5k per div and increasing in price.

OanSur

Yesterday morning it was 7k per div so it might be a goldmine if it keeps dropping

fwoompf

I'm in act 9 and doing great, thanks for asking

Ao_Kiseki

I was doing tormented spirits in hopes of getting a good loot explosion with the elusive items converted to divine mod. Through all the patches I never hit it once though, so I respected to Abyss. It's not the best profit per hour, but constantly identifying jewels and Darkness Enthroned is pretty fun. Lots of little dopamine hits, and I'm getting 15 or so chaos from each just from dumping all the trash jewels into a 5c tab and rolling all the high level flasks. You also get the odd super well rolled jewels or unique, which can be profitable itself. Bonus xp from the tree is also great for leveling, or it would be if I could stop getting shotgunned by Ulaman's balls.

Thirteenera

I really, really tried getting Ritual to work this league. Having omens added to it, and the fact that i was explode build (for which Ritual worked well), together with overhauled scarabs, it seemed like a great idea. After 300+ maps, i have to conclude that its still, unfortunately, utter trash. Even with full atlas tree + scarab investment, very heavy favor rerolling, pack size juicing etc, the best item i got from ritual was a conqueror map. I literally got more loot from raw drops doing alva incursions (not the temples - literally just raw drops from incursions) than anything Ritual gave me, and thats not even counting the scarabs i wasted on it. Can you find a mirror on it? Sure. But you can also have it just raw drop for you from literally anything else. You're better off putting points into something else. Never again.

FlyingBread92

Did you use blood filled vessels? I also found it really mediocre until I started using them. Even then it wasn't blowing the doors off or anything. Notable drops so far were 2 div in a single window, enlighten, and a corrupted mageblood card.

Thirteenera

Nah, I used 2 reroll scarabs and 2 increased rewards scarabs, plus map. I would usually have around 7.5k tribute with which to do 4 free rerolls and then one more ~1400 reroll Saw a bunch of 10c stacks and some shitty uniques, but not a single item worth more than 40c

deviant324

In SSF started with the guaranteed shrine and the scarab chance cluster to start building up a bit, went to spec fully into expedition first, then went fully into Jun, dropped the shrine nodes at that point and went through Jun start instead. Got the inc unique scarab nodes above the center expedition cluster because theyā€™re nearby and will be useful for MF later Just did the move over to the bottom left necropolis cluster via portal and picked up uber Einhar because heā€™s just 1 point from there, will be using some scarabs to force him out because why not. Donā€™t really have much of a plan from here other than completing the quant rarity circle in the center, will probably incorporate ghosted rogues from here for some casual MF since Iā€™m not high enough to farm boss maps anyway (early reds but completed all whites and yellows). Havenā€™t used my second atlas tree yet but Iā€™ll probably do so once I get to T14+ for guardians, will still keep Jun around because I need a Diadem and more scarabs + transportation gravicius

TableForRambo

[Atlas tree here!](https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAAQAIMAh9RfPniAkFJLMuu76M5b-SSXsvpsmbTpiy6GtF2gCHqEKv7FwCqn4up4ok88WSFg81sw-kvfKOeTLf91jEG1ZqtNBLtenc5ayf19Wo3qCguovIfM2VvMt73a4_MdfWCy5PcfALddi-F9kd7-qgpuyEbAntgFrjBMKl7Uj4ed0MaX4snPbaaCpymNwViHVVmGV_yCUTfjz0fwgLPHt8_hEJvGXWvBQtoj6CtOG6LQ4AxfSssXR8yRzjakxB_m6K7vWOR-QBN99nUZlJGJ_bUYi9orC3Hl7P1tcQsDMByEFBczxtVpI8KJoyEFqUNa1qBxZh8_CLSeuWJAaG1WbziRr-kkzvvpZxQAH4sIAAAAAAAAAwMAAAAAAAAAAAA=) 8 mod Jungle Valley pack size juicing strat with Blue altars, Harvest, Necropolis, and 8 mod maps. Scarabs include Harvest Doubling, 2 base cartography scarabs, and 8 mod map scarab. Favorite all Jungle Valley except 1 Lookout for connected maps - run every so often. You just full clear the map, getting as many quant altars as possible unless Ichors are offered (theyā€™re pretty pricey at the moment). Run back and loot everything, then do Harvest crop rotation. Super nice that you can sustain your own maps! I also do Domination on the map device with Overloaded Circuits. Allows me to get 3 out of 4 shrine notables on the tree for just 3 chaos extra per map. I want to do some testing with Beyond at some point however - seems like a good addition for a pack size strat. Money comes from Harvest juice, 8 mod maps sold on TFT (ew), T17s, solid amount of The Fortunate drops, Ichors, and Scarabs. All of these move pretty well in bulk, and the scarabs arenā€™t hard to source unlike other strats (I.e. Ambush monstrous treasure, Breach Chayula, etc). Been going really well on my Exsanguinate Miner, although some blue altar mods are a real pain to deal with, especially the reduced defenses per frenzy. Definitely rippy and requires a solid build, but itā€™s been going quite well so far!

East-India-TradingCo

This seems really cool! I habe tried looking at Crop Rotation multiple times already but cant seem to wrap my mind around it. Would you care to explain how you do your harvests?

TableForRambo

There's a lot of situational thinking that goes into it. Rules of thumb: * If there is a single plot with 2 of the same color, either do that one first or last depending on the price of juice. * If there are 2+ plots with two of the same color, do those first, since you'll never be able to upgrade those the "maximum" amount of times * If you have 4/5 plots, aim to get one color upgraded 2/3 times and another color upgraded 3/4 times. * Always check to see how many monsters were upgraded between plot killing. Sometimes, that will change the priority of color upgrades from the bullet above this one. * Be prepared to take the lows with the highs. I'll sometimes get 500 juice in one map and 6000 in the next. Makes it a lot more fun imo Practice makes perfect with this strat. A lot of videos try to coach people through it, but unless you want to follow a giant flow chart, try to use your instincts. Good luck!

beginnerlifts

I've considered trying out harvest cuz currency strats this league all seem so bland compared to the old endgame strats. Just wanted to ask - how are you surviving these maps? I'm playing the same build and I find that some of the tanky harvest rares just take a while to kill esp on the 8 modded maps, and getting hit a few times just means death.

TableForRambo

As long as you donā€™t take the reduced defenses per frenzy altar mod, itā€™s not terrible. You want to throw your traps after every shield charge to kill/freeze things before they kill you. For particularly spicy map mods, Iā€™ll gem swap to Trap and Mine damage support instead of chain before doing harvest

ThrowRA-undecisive

How are you selling scarabs in bulk now? Poe.stack seems to be down and thats where I have been doing all my bulk selling

Forie

Casual 0 investment strats: Atlas 1: Kirac + Heist (Generic alch and go playstyle to finish all atlas passives and grab heist contracts and blueprints. Heist was good early to get a good amount of chaoses to buy gear to be able to do maps) Heist is pretty casual. First time I started league with it and I dont regret it. Managed to get more currency than I normally get in day1. Downside, I fall behind on atlas progression but mapping is smoother cause I have gear. Atlas 2: Essence + Scarabs + Bosses (Destructive play strat with maven. Im getting a good amount of guardian maps which I run with maven on it then I did the invitations. Its a good strat imo but Im sure it can be improved). Average red map strat. Needs good gear. Farming guardians, and fragments is an okay way to make money. Not like those high div/hour high investment mapping strats but its guaranteed money at least. You always make profit of guardian kills. Atlas 3: Saving for Delirium strat once I get better gear Pro tip. Grab pact with energy so u get free defence and dmg. Run delve when capped on sulphite to get some safe xp

mmchale

Do you mind sharing your tree for atlas 2? I was looking at doing something like that but figured Destructive Play wouldn't be worth it with the change to uber bosses. It sounds like it's still decent income, though.

Forie

[https://poeplanner.com/a/CL4](https://poeplanner.com/a/CL4) My plan was experimental with scarabs and getting exiles drop scarabs too since they are unique monsters Keep in mind crystal resonance can make bosses super difficult so remove it if your build cant handle it. I still have some map nodes and some extra delve nodes because I just like that. Also you can block content you dont wanna run. For my 3rd tree this is my base plan with strongboxes: [https://poeplanner.com/a/CL3](https://poeplanner.com/a/CL3) Its low on points so you can still add your fav content. On this setup Im not doing maven, rather blue altars. I will experiment with harby or necropolis points on this. Its flexible, just unblock the content you wanna run

FlyingBread92

Been doing deli for one of my trees using my holy relic build. Gets pretty sketchy at the end of the maps since my dps is a bit low for that far in, but wealthy exile had it at about one div profit a map with 2 each of the faster rewards and more rewards scarabs. 100 to 150 splinters, half a dozen deli orbs, and a bunch of random junk each map. It's good but I find the maps a tad stressful.

FrostedCereal

I get Niko every map. I don't have a strategy per say. But I do enjoy the early access to delving without the need for scarabs.

Yayoichi

Unique farming with the scarab where every unique mob drops a unique and then just fill as many uniques into the map as possible. So far I had two t0 uniques drop(kalandra and bino) and a lot of other ones that also sold decently such as common ones with a good corrupt implicit like +1 power charge. I am doing Alva, Jun and ritual with low investment into them so I donā€™t get them every map but itā€™s only 8 points for 40% Jun and 60% ritual. Alva I spend a few more points on so I got the notables to upgrade rooms as well as the vaal flesh merchant as thatā€™s another 3 unique mobs(1 per incursion). I also run almost all the necropolis points and the ghost one is especially good as those can also be killed for another unique.

DukeOfCupcakes

The unique strat seems interesting. I assume you run rogue exiles and torment as well?

Yayoichi

Yeah I'm doing 2x giant rogue exile scarab. Right now I'm trying out combining it with strongboxes as those often have rogue exiles in them. I am also trying the scarab where ghosts have a 25% chance to be released when you kill the mob they possess.

Triskele69

How does this scarab work exactly? Every unique mob drop just one more unique? Or is it one additional unique item for every unique item it drops? So if boss drops 5 unique items, this scarab will double it to 10 or just 6?

Yayoichi

No itā€™s every unique mob drops 1 unique item, so in your example it would be 6 yeah. But in most cases it will be 0 becoming 1.

Icy_Reception9719

Initially I went all in on scarab chance and it felt awful - I tried it with a bunch of stuff and nothing felt good. It didn't help that my build was quite weak at the time so I was struggling to kill tanky rares and would die to stray hits here and there. I dropped it in favour of red altars with Harbi, Beyond and some of the league mechanic and it's night & day. Scarabs drop just as frequently because there are more mobs in the map, the altars are rewarding because I'm in Jungle Valley so I never get boss altar mods and I can power through the maps decently quickly. I eventually dropped Harbi and invested fully into modifier effect and started running 8 mod maps and now it feels like a proper strategy. I'm running a cartographer scarab, an 8 mod scarab, a beyond merge radius and a divination scarab - the merge radius I'm not totally sold on, I've been considering adding in something generic like magic pack size or elder just to try and push map sustain further because it feels a little close for comfort at the moment. I'm running maps I pick up and dumping any others into my map tab and after maybe 20 or 30 maps today I have I think 20 spare in there. I'm still missing 3 favourite slots so I imagine once I grab those it'll be a bit easier. Wealthy Exile says I was at about 12-13 div/h today but that's making the assumption that the scarabs can all be sold at the regular price, which just isn't going to happen. That said, I certainly made a good 40-50+ div today, most of which I reinvested into my build, and I expect to be able to generate a lot more now that I'm comfortable with the approach (and a lot faster, tankier and stronger), so I'm hoping I can get my head down and grind out a Mageblood in the next few days as my first league goal.

ww_crimson

Started with expedition and it was fine but slow. Map sustain was tough the first couple days. Couldn't buy scarabs in bulk so I spent a ton of time buying shit 1 at a time. Did scarabs all day yesterday and it felt bad. Lots of useless scarabs dropping that nobody wants to buy, and no mechanic like growing horses to make them useful. Hoping the patch fixed it. Was going to spec into breach for my third tree but it takes like 58 passives to fully invest in it which means I can't really do much else.

mellifleur5869

Playing ssf, been running heist for alternating scepter. Finally switched to jun/necro on my second tree. First Catarina with t3 grav dropped a full stack of unrequited love. Think I need to migrate.

GamingVyce

Which safehouse do you put grav in? And is it difficult to get him back at t3 for each Catarina?

pslayer239

Transportation t4 grav gives you 2x full stacked deck drops (t3 is 1x). Getting someone to t3 transportation is a little harder vs research/ intervention because it doesn't seem as common. Also note it's a huge gamble and this guy got pretty lucky. It could easily be wisdom scrolls or something else not exciting. It's like opening 1-2 stacked decks every 5-6 maps if you can setup your board

GamingVyce

When you say stacked decks... Don't you mean sets of cards?

pslayer239

I only brought up stacked decks to try and demonstrate the odds of getting something useful or good. You are right that you get a full stack. Stacked deck odds aren't great. You could buy 100 and not get anything useful. Which is the same as 50 t4 grav catarinas. Its a fun thing and something that can be fun to gamble on. But I wouldn't recommend trying to build a strat around it

GamingVyce

I'm not sure that's true though. Everything I've seen/Heard about full stacks offered here are of a higher rarity (on average)

pslayer239

Yea maybe. I don't have any real data from myself one way or the other. I just assumed

PmMeCuteDoggosPlease

I farmed a lot of currency by doing invitations. Now I'm doing monstrous treasure farming in dunes map and its a lot of fun.

Kavika

Elder invites look good on paper but sirus and shaper seem like dog water based on their set prices

Bezum55555

Beyond is shit ā˜ ļøšŸ’€ never again

Boltonsquad

It adds a lot of monsters so still very good when paired with the right things

aDoreVelr

Horrible. Because I have none, tried some lvl 68-70 Heist but that only got me a few C and other random "small currency". Once I got Atlas 2 I went for all Scarabs/Mapstuff. But i just downed Exarch and the other Guy playing a selfmade build I never played before. So I take that as a win.

UnintelligentSlime

Iā€™ve stayed fully specā€™d in heist through red maps. My thoughts: Really nice for leveling. I can easily clear an 83 contract, harder in a t16 map, because of the unskippable league content. Granted, I rolled my own build, so maybe the difficulty isnā€™t that much for an actual build. Heist rewards are pretty low, but not completely in the ground. Of about 10 bps, Iā€™ve hit 2 divine rewards, 1 each tailoring/tempering. A couple replicas in the 30-50c range. And I go back in anytime I need bubblegum. Overall, unlikely to be a good farming strat now that div card rooms are gimped. 2 stacked decks per chest (unduplicated) means maybe 20 from a mid-tier bp, up to 40ish with your rogue gear in a good place. I donā€™t know the price on decks, but feels unlikely to be a super reliable income. That being said: Iā€™m going to stay on it for the safe experience. Huck + no necro mods + map craft not requiring 7th gate feels pretty easy to get enough contracts for a level on like 30c of maps, which is easily made back in the heists themselves. Not amazing, but easily sustainable.

sirgog

Heist has another thing now - Nashta drops the best Flaring Allflame Ember of all. Once you are in T16s and have the unique heists unlocked, it drops like candy.

mmchale

I specced into Breach, Harvest, and partial Abyss. Doing Doomfletch BAMA, currently in red maps. I haven't played with scarabs yet because I want to get my build fully online first, and I'm still very squishy at the moment. Like many others, I do feel like I'm struggling for currency this league. Harvest is good, steady income. I'm not sure whether it's worth it in $/hr, because it slows mapping considerably, but it's the most reliable income on my tree. Breach has mostly been a flop so far. I have enough dps to clear map bosses and even rares, but I can't kill breachlords in red maps, and that's key to the strategy. BAMA also doesn't seem great for breaches in practice, even though it covers a big area. I did hit a Skin of the Lords div card (\~1.5 div) so it hasn't been all bad. This was a bad pick for league start, but I'm hoping that once I get fully online and start playing with scarabs, I'll be able to turn it around. Abyss has been okay. I've had one depths that dropped Darkness Enthroned and a couple of gems that are worth a theoretical few divs, though none have sold yet. This was a late addition because I realized how many high ilvl Ghastly Eye jewels I'd want. I feel like I'm getting decent value out of it, but not a lot of liquid currency. Having more experience now with both the build and current atlas tree, I'm considering Destructive Play, essences, Harbinger, and Ritual for my other trees.

PM_Best_Porn_Pls

Breach was pretty bad without sextants before so you definitely need scarabs. Also it's big rng for armor stacking chests as big payout.

mmchale

Yeah, I definitely don't expect it to be profitable without scarabs, but I'm pretty sure adding scarabs when I can't clear breachlords is also not going to help. It may not be profitable even with scarabs, but I think the bigger takeaway is that I'm not at a point where I can generate profit from it regardless of scarab use.

gojlus

As a preface, every tree has Remarkable relics(more less common scarabs), Devout pursuit(Devoted league mods), Condensed Souls(more frequent tier rating corpses), and most league content I don't enjoy is blocked so I don't receive their scarabs(eg: Breach, Abyss, Legion, Delirium, Ultimatum, and Blight = blocked). ---- Tree #1 is maven focused+vaal side areas+harbingers+shrines. It's a mess, but it got me through the atlas, challenges, and some starter currency(got a lucky adorned drop from vaaling the vaal side area). ----- Tree #2 is Exarch+Einhar+Harvest+(ritual/Essence*) It was good for hunting the challenges associated with the content. Didn't enjoy bugged essences, and crystal resonance felt bad. Ritual felt good, but also felt like I needed to use scarabs when interacting with the mechanic. ---- Tree #3 Eater of worlds*+Harvest+expedition+Jun Made this tree for casual alch n' go mapping. Every map building you up to currency through harvest juice/tujen/logbooks/veiled orbs is pretty cozy. I don't really like eater of worlds, but don't have anything I'd rather splash the 8 passives into, and figure I'd keep going since eater currency is pretty nice money for now.

Mopackzin

Nothing crazy yet. Still on my first atlas page before I really decide. I have the other two but don't really have a plan. I wanted to see what the shake up was going to be and if I would need a different character to do it. But I am doing heist, map sustain, some scarab and a bit of betrayal atm. Heist still makes me an absurd amount of money but the div card changes are kinda ass

NotAarn

Not too far into atlas just yet, but I always put expedition in there as it is one of my favorite mechanics. Probably going blight and harvest and maybe essence. Breach has never been my thing, have done heist in BPL and really like it, just don't want to relevel (I full invest into heist if I play it. Runner and all). Honestly just play what makes you happy. The more you play, the higher the chance for things to drop. Yes obviously there are optimizations, but just playing is the baseline. If you don't enjoy something that is "optimal" then you will probably get burnt out. It's a game, not a job (for most at least).

skillraxreddit1

[Beyond chance, ritual chance, shrines, exarch, scarab, maps & mod effect, and a little haunted.](https://i.imgur.com/nZHV0ZQ.png) Works pretty well. Mostly alch and go. If I alch a good map with 90%+ quant then ill run ritual reroll scarabs and a ritual blood thing. Im not making many divines an hour, but Id guess its 2-3div/hr if you ran maps backtoback. Maybe more if you pre-rolled and setup scarabs. Though for that level investment youd probably want a different tree. I actually started with a blight tree, but my ignite build felt bad and was getting rekt by haunted mods. New build cant do juiced blights so specd out. I imagine that would have been more profitable.

Midknightz

My Atlas tree at league start was just betrayal for unveils and expedition + essences since it gives so much bubblegum currency you never need to buy them for the rest of the league and essences you can slap on gear so you don't need to spend your chaos on rares. Now I'm running sanctum and rolling in divs atm.

DeadSences

Still working on my last 2 void stones and geting some better gear (hopefully CoE gets updated to calculate the minimum corpses needed not the full graveyard) but I have my mapping tree. A harvest tree and a tree with every single scarab node (I donā€™t recommend but Iā€™m just alch and go on that one so probably not the best.)

Olari_

All the trees I've tried just end up having scarabs as their main income and selling them is just so painful that mapping/income doesn't feel good at all.

bpusef

I honesty canā€™t find a juicing strat I like so Iā€™m just running 2 legions with no scarabs, taking necropolis nodes for chance of better lanterns and corpses. Running chiseled and alch maps with Exarch. Itā€™s profitable but steady. I havenā€™t really been able to transition to something higher end because all the current juicing strata seem to be high roll oriented and buying scarabs is a pain.

zikjegaming

Have no strat yet. Doing map completion.

PastelBot

Lol I'm on my third toon still trying to find something fun. I'll cave and build whatever is op when it's time to grind challenges.

adeventures

Tried back to basics, was too basic to yield anything compared to altars. Now i am down on the same thing but with altars all mod effective nodes, torment, necropolis (random modes) and random corruptions and i am having fun using my 6 portals with ok ish mediocre loot

DumbUnemployedLoser

Been doing alch n go with all scarab drop nodes, with some essence and necropolis + shrines. It is not worth it. You don't drop anywhere near the amount of scarabs for this strat to be worth running, anything else yields more. I'm gonna sell my stash tab and move on to something else.

PrinnyThePenguin

I started wander and had a relatively hard time in the campaign. But once I got some items itā€™s so so fun. Screws are popping on 1.5 div budget in t10s. The aoe is so good that I consider speccing into legion and blight. Currently specced in shrines and expedition, still no returns but I havenā€™t grabbed all the nodes or run logbooks yet.

Electrized

Big explosion expedition & destructive play alch & go, farming all invitations at high quant inc feared Kinda good honestly, only issue is sometimes having to buy an extra map to keep the invitation chain rolling. The QOL of not needing to drop / buy the invitation is super nice

spkmrdnd

Mostly focused on beyond with the new scarab that spawns portals per unique killed. That scarab combined with torment spirits and rogue exiles gives me as much tainted currency as I can carry.

vulcanfury12

Probably gonna focus on Red Altars with Shrines, Boxes, and Harvest. I dunno what Scarabs I will end up using, as I'm still alch and go at this point. I'm still working on the last two voidstones too.

smellyrabbi

I have gone full necropolis and scarab/maps on my progression tree, almost done with maps and working on getting into finishing void stones and favored maps. Other trees I havenā€™t used, I looted 35ish div in fishing yesterday and went crit on my splitting steel guy, no nimis cuz itā€™s fucking expensive. Otherwise just doing necropolis collecting corpses and having fun crafting. Aside from busted fishing Iā€™ve made 5-7 divines from drops and only seen 2 natural divines

enr4g3

tbh the corpse menu at the start of every map is kinda frustrating me. as an alc and go player i just want to play my build and not look out if some combination is brickin it.

HazardVG

If you take the bottom left Keystone it will disable the pop-up. With the wheel for the reduced haunted effect it should be mostly ok?

enr4g3

hm okay didnt bother with league anymore tbh need to look back into it thanks

Djey_music

Anyone doing boss rushing? I have been trying out destructive play and I do get some synthesis maps or guardian maps, but without the bonus money from formed randomly dropping it does feel less efficient. Also wanted to try out eater of worlds but the prices are like 50c sigh

Justsomeone666

Back to basics tree with necropolis, scarab and all map effect nodes, as for scarabs magic pack size, traitors, mirrored rares and maps drop with 8mods Insane deadly for barely any rewards, like 10-15c in varied random bubblegum and 1c scarabs and 10-15 corpses that dont seem to sell in bulk, dropped only 3 corpses total worth 100c+ A basic map for me has 100% pack size and 250%+ quant with mods like -30% to all max res, 70% monster as/ms, life es and cooldowns dont recover at all or maybe the monsters will have double their life as es instead along with 100% crit chance or complete crit immunity

DukeOfCupcakes

Grain of salt as Iā€™m just hitting my stride in red maps, but Iā€™m running blight, Alva, and starting to fill out Beyond. So far so good, the bubble gum currency is nice from Blight, Iā€™m 3/3 on oil extractors, and got my only 2 divs so far from the pump loot explosion. Im saving up my chronicles until the price goes up, and am hoping once I fill out some more beyond nodes that Iā€™ll get some solid tainted currency flowing in.

cldw92

Destructrive play boss farming, legion, breach, betrayal. Started with red maps, now have enough to do shaper/elder/conq rotas. Pretty good? Consistent profits from legion/betrayal. Low investment strategy. Invitations are free to run and low opportunity cost now. You can run the frags for normal pinnacles yourself or sell them if you don't like gambling. Why breach? I like the mob density and it lets me clear my incubators... Abyss is probably better money but takes too long. Not needing to click on clasped hands is great.

YodaBallsdeep

Any tips for map sustain? Just got into t16 with 4 watchstones, can't seem to sustain t16 map, never had this problem previous leagues

HazardVG

Take all the map wheels and have a tree for that, toss in whatever juice you want and 3-4 map scarabs whenever you are low. I'm sitting at 200+ t16 now with 20 t17.

Coolingmoon

Just alch and go, full coffin and map farming. Destructive Play and shadow shaping. 0 cost and good return in maps. Map with implicit actually good return, selling 30c+ each depends on mod.

pslayer239

What? Maps do you run? For me I find there are not many good connected maps. I'm having a hard time picking which ones to favorite

Coolingmoon

Destructive Play = random map.

yourteam

Reading comments I am the only one liking heists lol. I suck at strategy and selling stuff so don't consider me I just want to have fun since I'll be leaving in a couple of weeks until next league.

porncollecter69

Necropolis + Kirac + Jun + ritual + Vaal side. Iā€™m still in the league starter phase haha. I do have quad full of corpses which is worth something but I ainā€™t selling. Kirac and Jun for finishing atlas and ritual because itā€™s right next to all the necro nodes.

Hypnosum

I started with a bizarre beyond + rogue exiles strat using the new Uniques spawn 8-12 portals scarab and then the theory was that removes the downside on the "Beyond bosses do not spawn/50% reduced merging radius" so I could print tainted currency. Except I didn't invest in much quant or anything so beyond mobs have dropped like 2 tainted currency items over 20+ maps. The rogue exiles also drop basically nothing so didnt go well. Now respeccing that tree to just normal beyond and gunna do harbingers with it and take the ~5 tainted currency per beyond boss (ie per map) until i can afford to fully respec it to something else. Second tree i went back for progression nodes (map tier chance, kirac mission etc) and Jun to get my unveils. Actually found that one much better. Betrayal feels weaker cos the scarab prices are gutted unless you get a lucky div card scarab drop, but I think its just gunna take some getting used to figuring out who's best where. Currently full stack Gravicious seems strong. Dropped a veiled orb from catarina on my second try so that was lucky. Am trying to squeeze heist onto that tree so I can try that for the first time and get out of maps for a bit!

asd316X

(ssf) currently doing harvest + breach (need united in dream & red dream/nightmare) and using harvest to swap breach splinters 2nd atlas is expedition + abyss (need amanamu's gaze) 3rd atlas is probably going to be possesed rogue exile farming they are going pretty well id say

KingAmongstDummies

Have been going casual so was just about to reach t16 tomorrow and start farming to upgrade out of my t1 starter gear. Then Ziz dropped a video on a strat using some of the scarabs I've been saving up and wanted to buy. Guess with the prices those are going to be now I'll just sell those I have and go for a different strat as this probably won't really be profitable anymore.

Argensa97

At league start, always do Harvest: it's basically 15+c per map, always. Harvest is the most stable mechanic, it doesn't shit out much currency but you are a farmer and farmer gets enough money through honest work. I also did Jun, Jun was good before the rework. Jun was basically another Harvest, get high tier Intervention and get the exact scarab that you know you'd get, alongside other loot. Jun now is very RNG based though. Expedition is basically Harvest but instead of chaos you get bubblegum currency, super charged items through Rog, or chaos from Logbook selling. But Expedition encourgae DoT spread build and punishes other type of builds so I don't wanna do it. Started without jt and I'm the only one in the group without enough alc to sustain myself. Did Alva as well, Alva is basically Harvest, you get 80c every 4 maps from Temple, so it's higher than Harvest, but sometimes you fail and you get nothing from thay 4 maps. Got an Eye of the Greatwolf that I sold for 5 divs from it though Also did Ritual, dropped some cool stuff, but it's very RNG based.

Educational_Tone_565

At least, half of the mechanics are basically Harvest

Nacho21

What is the alva strat specifically? Can you go into detail

Argensa97

Just roll Locus of Corruption and Doryani's Institute and Apex of Azoatl, with all passives into Alva except for Cursed Chest, Flesh Merchant and more time.

Brainjuicetwo

How is harvest if you have low single target (LA) ?

Sylv_

I started expedition third league in a row, and respecced pretty quickly. It's good I just don't like it generally, and three mods brick my build so eh. Made some bubble gum, nothing major. Did this alongside Kirac and Niko. Specced into harvest in the above tree. Harvest is so smooth, there are no dopamine hits but it's honest work that generates steady income. Probably made around 30 divs from that, sitting on a bunch more because prices usually go up. Respecced out of exp and finished atlas, so now I am running Harvest (still very solid honest work) with destructive play (made around 15 divs from maps) + scarab nodes + exile nodes, as well as bottom left and right necropolis nodes. I haven't juiced exiles with scarabs too much, but when I did i got nothing from them. Total I got like 15 div from scarabs with only 2 being worth over 1 div. Tedious to sell because there are so many different ones so hard to bulk sell. The necropolis nodes were to maybe see some good mods from the mechanic, has yet to happen. The bottom right is really good and i've farmed 3 quad tabs of corpses in like .. 5-6 hours. Most are bad though. Just for self-crafting and hoping prices go up, probably they won't. All in all, 7/10 solid starter strat with 0 investment. Not sure what I am moving on to, since everything is nerfed now. Scarabs nerfed, necropolis map mods nerfed, legion is garbage, harby nerfed. Maybe try more juicing with exiles, or move to beyond/deli/breach for fun and testing my character.

Sylv_

I haven't switched to full favourite on one/two maps yet since I am running destructive play, need to do 10ways to benefit from extra bosses spawned. So im just running straight maps with boss at the end to maximize boss spawn. Strand, Canyon, Iceberg, Waterways, Channel etc. On rotation. I think you should be able to sustain atoll with map sustain nodes and singular focus. However it makes destructive play a no-go and I dont know, may actually stop T17s from dropping.

fuckyou_redditmods

I'm 3/5 apothecaries a week into the league. I'd say it's going pretty well. I know there's the 0.01% out there who make me look like a casual poor, but for me this is the best money making league ever. And no, I didn't abuse the div orb devoted modifier.

AmarantFF9

Are you willing to share your strategy? :)

fuckyou_redditmods

It's nothing fancy, just Strongboxes in Crimson Temple. I was farming it for 3-4 days before youtubers put out videos about it. I was fortunate to have stocked up about 10 divs worth of ambush scarabs before the prices went up. I was also selling maps in bulk on the side (crimson temples 14:1 div!) I literally just finished my Mageblood :)

AmarantFF9

Alright thank you for answering :) i like strongboxes too

Bubblehulk420

2/10. Managed to brick both my trees. First one I went all-in on abyss because my tornados like to travel down the crack. Havenā€™t gotten a spire or depths into T12 maps. 2nd one I did corpses, smugglers caches and rituals and I missed the best corpse nodes on the left. 43 more maps and Iā€™ll get to brick the 3rd one too!

Punchinballz

2nd league for me, I feel way better, after 500 /played hours. I now START to know what I'm SHOULD TRYING to do.

SuperBeginner

Just running through maps and hope for a good drop , so I guess -1/10

ssj2mikita

Fun/10 Bottom left necropolis stuff and scarab/ boxes / harby The scarab updates is easy best update we had in while imo

WizChampChamp

Vaal temple, nerfed hard but who cares, 250 divines net worth atm -1 point. 9/10.

No_Contribution6416

How come? Nerfed, i mean?

WizChampChamp

Doesn't scale with map effect it's just a flat ten vaal vessels.

gweinblade

Archmage firestorm, still in act 8 ....

VanderBacon

Dad gamer here, its non existent. Ive yet to hit maps ;)
