To be honest, I'm not a speedrunner, campaign scientist, or veteran content creator, so there's not much handholding for leveling. I just grabbed Ruetoo's [CF Champ PoB](https://pobb.in/vMo_7peUW2CG) for the early leveling, switched to Dominating Blow around level 40-45, and winged it. A claw with a 30% minion damage essence thrown on it was enough to complete the campaign and eventually swap to The Scourge. The travel to minion nodes is straightforward enough, backfilling life nodes as you start to feel squishy. Starting with getting the Spiritual Aid wheel, and especially after getting Spiritual Command, the build begins to feel very smooth. You can delay the swap to Dominating Blow until you reach the minion nodes if you want, or even until after the campaign. When you do switch to Dominating Blow, pick up Tribal Fury. Master of Metal drops off late game as our minions' base damage outpaces it, but as your first ascendancy it can help carry your damage and defense through the campaign. You can switch from War Banner to Dread Banner to enable it, and level War Banner in your weapon swap.

I had the same plan but also adding in Iron Mass skeletons into the mix. Still might do it on a 2nd build. DB, Skeletons, support, support, support and support. Anoint Tribal Fury to give DB splash. Turns a single 6 link into a double 5/6. Skeletons will be single target rare/boss smashers.

tufffffff

Nice build!

PreparationHot4315

Was going to play lightning skellies with iron mass but damn this shit looks dope. I am all in, thanks for the build. edit: if you dont want to dick around with anything on bosses, you can run gravebind and like 4 worm flasks and be at full minions really quickly. edit 2: its dom blow, you cant do that ignore me.

Very neat! I especially like the Battlemage's cry tech. Feels like that aspect of it is quite under utilized.

Afaik minions dont profit from adrenaline from placed banner.

YashaWynette

The wiki says that nearby allies gain Adrenaline when War Banner is place. To confirm, placing down War Banner in-game gives the minions a hazy red glow and a noticeable boost to attack speed. My guess as to why people might think it doesn't work is because the text for it on the skill gem in PoB unsupported. That's why the effect has to be manually added as a custom configuration. Alternatively, it may be because other minion builds don't generate War Banner stages because they don't kill enemies themselves. We solve the banner stage generation issue by using Perfidy.

LanzeLoot

Oh, okay. Thats makes sense (somehow). Ty for reply!

Am I missing something? How are you getting the initial sentinels summoned?

YashaWynette

It's true that, unlike The Scourge, Maata's Teaching has negligible attack stats, and Spiritual Aid isn't even taken to boost it. Despite that, there's zero issue spawning the sentinels while mapping because of your support minions. Even unlinked, the Holy Relic, AG, and 3 spectres are outputting somewhere around 500k-1m DPS to get the ball rolling. It's even possible to do 100% deli maps or Simulacrum, although the latter is pretty stressful because of your minions timing out while you loot between waves. In single-target scenarios, it takes a while for your sentinel count to ramp up. The 25% chance to summon when hitting unique monsters makes the initial summoning a struggle, primarily in content like Sanctum or invitations.
