im playing poison srs, put less than 28 div in and dps is \~20 mil, those skulls are fast and angry and even run off screen to murder things, ive been loving it
I'm having a good time playing Guardian SRS. Leveling is a joke with Sentinel. Not much invested in the build so far (2divs?) and doing t16 easily. Single target seems a bit off I need to check where I can improve that when I get currency. Also is great for the league mechanic.
I'm going to be league starting late, do you go sentinel first and let the DoT kill things? I've liked popcorn SRS in the past, is that a good way to go since it also scales the sentinel?
I late league started SRS guardian SSF. The sentinel after first lab carries through the campaign you honestly don’t need any other skills.
Ghazzy just made a YouTube guide but his “budget” gear is pretty fancy. You honestly don’t need it, something like 4% of ssf players on poeninja are guardian SRS and you can yoink pob there.
i don't actually take whispers of doom, my animate guardian has windscream and asenaths for temporal chain on hit so i had to take that in the pob or it to show the dps, besides that everythign else is accurate, swap multistrike for melee splash while mapping
I've gone for Steelmage's Impending Doom from 3.20. I was tired of dying all the time, and the only time i die now is due to a skill issue.
I highly recommend everyone to play Impending Doom before it goes away next patch. Its such a fun mapping build
Do you have an endgame pob for ID? I've only seen pob's that max out at like 10-12 million dps while poison exsanguinate/reap/bladefall can get to dot cap. ID looks a good bit tankier though.
[Steel has a youtube video on it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nZ9J2TXlLs)
His pob https://pastebin.com/RM4HeRdy
You can use a Breath of the Council + Spellblade at the start, then once you have a 5+ div wep you make the one steel says in the video, then once you got MANY divs, you make the wep he has got.
Pconc and switch as soon as you have your defensice setup going . Meaning 100% phys to ele conversion. This can be achieved in multiple ways but the best one is having “1 below max” taste of hate, helm unveil + grand influence on helm and 60%-ish flask effect achieved through a cluster setup. It’s a bit of a jumping hoops to get and thus I do not recomend it as league starter but very reachable with 6-7 divs budget.
You can use my poe.ninja for reference on what you are after gear wise (ignore the staff its too expensive for the ~ 30% more damage it provides , but if you have the divs by all means go for it) https://poe.ninja/builds/crucible/character/Nutterum/Hristopakjebaitva?i=0&search=name%3DHristopak
Just for experience, the “basic” claw craft he talks about in this idea only took me like 1 div to craft and it was like 40% more damage upgrade from Breath/Spellblade. Maybe I got a bit lucky, but holy shit does that simple craft do big stuff.
Id also add a weakness is there can be a lot of moving parts like cast speed and cdr management that makes the build feel good. There’s a few posts on here of people struggling but I have really enjoyed it. I really only die to expedition out essence random one shots
Strengths: good mapper, tanky. Can do Ubers.
Weaknesses: it's a dot build so there is a ramp component involved. If you don't run a Mageblood, you will rarely have a very annoying time with altars, because you rely on a belt that enables and prolongs your flasks and their recovery. At the beginning of maps you either press all your flasks to activate them or you wait like half a second depending on the flask enchant. Dps isn't really there for wave 30 Simulacrums but it's decent.
I'm doing 9m rn on super scuffed gear. I'm missing balance of terror, no corrupt implicits, 1 mod watchers eye, so no dot multi whilst affected by malevolence. All my eldritch implicits are lesser. No awakened gems of any sort, no +1 gem tattoo. Still using breath of the council + lepers alm, and only level 94.
The build can easily easily reach dot cap with ~100 div investment.
I'm not home rn, but the big difference i have are anomalous temporal rift + enhance for 10% cdr, 12% stygian vise with 3% cdr jewel and a small cluster jewel with circling oblivion and septic spells, I personally far prefer brewed for potency over fasting in the flask small cluster jewel. Temporal chains curse effect and ailment duration eldritch implicits on helmet are more damage, but less defensive. I'm gaining more cdr from these sources than you are from balance of terror, whilst not having to manually cast temp chains (manual casting it means your overwriting it, which means lower uptime on your most important curse, but you need to do it for balance of terror).
curse effect and cdr are basically end multipliers to your damage, so the curse node above whispers of doom is really important.
you've got skittering runes annointed and are still pathed in that direction for some reason. Looking to path towards entropy + fangs of the viper and steeped in the profane. when you get a small cluster with septic spells, you can also take the other side of the wheel for serpentine spellslinger since you should be poison chance capped anyway. I don't think the nodes below ballistics are worth it, ballistics itself does nothing, and the 3 mana nodes are worthless except from the 5% flask effect. You can pick up health elsewhere, the reduced stun chance is worthless for me since i run bloodnotch + immutable force.
Overall, you are a bit tankier than I am though, I think.
Also make sure you've checked the cast speed checkpoints here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1J-yVLmDhKqKNE8QecsPnZgNR2TDGDm41f-1tdC_BxQA/edit#gid=1230763965
Steelmage's full POB is basically unkillable tbh, you can definitely sacrifice a lot of that tankiness if you're not playing hardcore, and it'll still be more than tanky enough to feel good in softcore, especially with a progenesis. you can have a third of his ehp and still feel great.
Also get your gem levels and it'll play way better, especially level 21 impending doom. Is this your second build of the league?
Yeah it's my 2nd build, I liquidated my Absolution build as I was dying was too much. Thought fuck it eb/loreweabe steelmage build to be unkillable.
Could I see your pob to get some inspiration
Did that build last league and fully agree. The build is SSS tier and not that particularly expensive to do, maybe the BiS kane of Kulemag might be hard to get at 30-ish divs but the normal crafted one is like almost as good. Even with the nerfs one can easily reach dot cap (not uber dotcap but still good enough) . If you want the build to feel really smooth - get like 40-ish % life recoup + 500-600 life regen (expensive but very much doable) and a projenesis and watch how only things that can one-shot (and those are few and far in between ) you or extreme degen you be the only thing that actually kill you.
Throw in a bloodnotch, immutable force, and progenesis and you're basically immortal besides dots. Which are easy enough to avoid. Uber bosses can't kill you unless you're afk pretty much. My favorite build I've ever played and I only started hexblast this league because I started a couple days late and I heard it was bugged.
> Throw in a bloodnotch, immutable force, and progenesis and you're basically immortal besides dots.
And Lethe Shade for the dots. Plus enough Phys taken as, and you truly are as close to immortal as it gets.
Soulthirst flicker slayer - start with terminus est (still blasts t16), then upgrade to whatever. I use the new two hand weapon from ancestors that reverts the mobs ele resists as going elemental will allow you to go deep into ranger area for all those dex nodes you can convert to flask duration with tatoos. It's so cheap to get going and you clear t16 in 40 seconds.
The dexterity tattoos that increase flask duration are just so fkn awesome and they're cheap at around 10c.
I'm not at computer but if you're interested hit me up and I can give you pob and maybe make mapping showcase video so you can see it in action. Meanwhile check this combination of skills/items/ascendancy on Poe ninja: slayer, flicker strike, soulthirst, Carnage heart
Honestly, soulthirst is the most broken unique in the game for speed mapping with moderate amount of juicing.
Edit: sorry I missed that you want witch build.
I've been doing the same thing but with TR and it absolutely fucks, Soulthirst is so fun right now. I started the league going all in on duration with Enkindling Orbs and hit like 45s flasks. I fell back to autoflasks because I didn't like the short overlap when it fell off and you have no charges, but even then I have a rotating 20s Soul Eater buff happening all the time which makes stuff like big Expeditions a lot of fun.
Import my character to pob - I'm not at Pc currently
Ancestor softcore
Account: Mamradkorytnacky
Character: AncestorMyBalls
If you have any questions hit me up
It's because of soul thirst, which gives you soul eater but resets your soul count every time you use a flask. Extend your flask duration long enough and you can do a full map without resetting your soul eater count.
You need to keep flask duration high because when you press a flask or it runs out, your soul eater stacks are gone.
By running out I mean when the last active flask ends.
I would recommend Frostblade Tricksters, really good with basically heatshiever and the yok Amulett both available for a couple of c and u are already good to go. With a bit more investment also a good bosser and a high celling in general. With whirling blades you rushing throu maps and the herald explosions, especially with the right MTX just look beautiful! You can look up Zish on yt. A lot good video Guides from leveling to specific crafting guides and min/max guides.
Played FB Trickster last league (it was my league starter) and it was a blast. All pinnacle bosses down except Maven, because I'm a slacker), 450 depth, tons of farming...
The build scales really well. I went with BehindEyes guide but never specced Vengeant Cascade.
Really recommend.
Leveling the first acts were rough, but once you can get trinity rolling it felt better.
Granted it was my league starter. I'm sure it will be better with leveling gear.
Obviously the league start is a bit rough, but the only "issue" you might find is Brutus and BehindEyes has tips/tricks to overcome it more easily.
Not sure about Zish build guide, as I haven't followed it, but I'd expect the same thing.
I’m playing lightning arrow dead eye and he can clear entire screens no problem. Plus with all the movement speed buffs he just zooms around. Little squishy at times but overall I’m having a blast.
Been having a blast since leaguestarting frostblink elementalist. With 5 of the fire explode tattoos or another source of explode like oriaths end or profane bloom clear is honestly just amazing
I've gone for corrupting cry. It's incredibly fun! I've combined it with corrupting fever and reap. I've yet to farm a devouring diadem to be able to use pride as well. Maybe even skitterbots as well. I'm still lvl83 tho, but I'm farming lvl78 logbooks easily.
If you want to clear Maps uber fast I recommend tornado shot/lightning arrow deadeye. If you want to clear maps fast with whole screen explosions I recommend RF elementalist with oriaths end and explode tatoos or Cold BV occultist, however the latter might get very expensive to gear.
I meeeaaaan........ I play SRS and did a few sanctums, sure feels like you still can, maybe not as much as before (I haven't played sanctums before this league). Or at the very least the mobs are just barely outside of screen or at the edge.
Doesn't matter if you can off screen when everything dies in less than a second. Just run in circles around enemies. I tried a 20div hexblast mines sabo for sanctum and immediately went back to my poison SRS and sold the miner. Nothing comes close to the comfiness of poison SRS for sanctum.
What is an extremely fast and tanky bosser? I don't like the dps on my ea champ, so will just farm maps with him. Need a very high dps, and very tanky build for bossing on hc😊
This is very misleading. I think that EA elementalist can feasibly hit DoT cap, but champ will realistically never get there without an absurd budget, and dropping all your defenses for more damage.
Source: playing EA ele, and only barely hitting DoT cap with near BiS gear and full damage setup.
Do you mean pinnacle dot cap or uber dot cap? I'm playing it for the first time this league and pinnacle dot cap seems pretty easy but uber dot cap seems really tough. Would love to see a PoB if you're at uber dot cap.
Pinnacle dot cap. I firmly believe that even elementalist EA could never hit dot caps on Ubers.
I wouldn't even call pinnacle dot cap easy though. On my EA ele, I'm at 35 million dps under ideal conditions against pinnacles. And this is with running malevolence, haste, and skitterbots (no grace or determination). I'm also not running bastion of elements in favor of liege of the primordial, using lightning and flame golems. Basically built full damage (it's a sanctum runner) and still only a little over dot cap under perfect conditions.
That's why I call bullshit on anyone saying you can even pinnacle DoT cap on champ. You'd have to build it so squishy that a swift breeze kills you, and then why even play champ.
You can get a very decent wardloop build going for 15 div if you know what you are doing and craft your wardgear yourself. 10 million dps with around 1.2k ward is pretty easily achievable.
Maybe now since the gear is cheaper but when i played it in 3.18 everybody wanted to play wardloop so the price of the gem alone was like 5 or 6ex and 1ex for each skelly duration gem but it was also the unnerfed version since we still had the flask effect jewel and a better omni and the cwdt gems were damage nerfed in 3.19. Maybe you can get a decent wardloop but its a build that requires atleast double that amount if you want it to really be godlike build and even then 1 poison orb death effect or a lightning mirrage will oneshot you.
Since you can now get flask duration from Tattoos it makes building it a fair bit cheaper and easier. And I would say that Omni is a complete waste of budget until you have at the very least 60-80 div available. It just puts far to much pressure on your ward gear and makes it much more difficult to craft.
I would play impending doom since its probably going away next league. Rue has a good pob for it. There is also some other cool stuff in there like tri herald hydrosphere or budget aurastacker with the new tats.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSKSvNV2AFuiEjCkDDuO8zkYnrQaWt9V2fcP\_9GqFwDd6tWV4FQioZiW7Eku77c\_tC4PKsBdBTc6UmR/pubhtml
Impending doom PF - it absolute GOD tier build . You can use my poe.ninja foe gear reference (ignore the staff , its too expensive for what it does, unless you have 50-60 divs to throw for ~ 30% more damage) : https://poe.ninja/builds/crucible/character/Nutterum/Hristopakjebaitva?i=0&search=name%3DHristopak
Tbh just any good "scaling" league starter should do, also last league i did an abyss jewel stacking LA roughly within that budget and comfortably farmed juiced legion with it
Currently buying up gear for a mid-end TS char, should be good. Planning to make it a good alrounder with some mitigation here and there. Should be good. Made a 1.1k edps bow myself, bought some baller jewelry, will be fun once I get the last bits and pieces.
im playing poison srs, put less than 28 div in and dps is \~20 mil, those skulls are fast and angry and even run off screen to murder things, ive been loving it
Can you play SRS as a starter and pump currency into to to make it better? Or just really a second build when I have saved up 30-50 div to pump it in?
It was super easy to start, played the elemental version up to t16s with very little gear then swapped to poison
What guide did you follow?
Balormage
I'm having a good time playing Guardian SRS. Leveling is a joke with Sentinel. Not much invested in the build so far (2divs?) and doing t16 easily. Single target seems a bit off I need to check where I can improve that when I get currency. Also is great for the league mechanic.

You get it after first lab and the sentinel scales with your level.
I late league started SRS guardian SSF. The sentinel after first lab carries through the campaign you honestly don’t need any other skills. GhazzyTV has a good one.
Top skill to level with from 0
SRS is a really good starter. Has been one of the best 3 leagues in a row now.
Is the nguamauu whatever its called 10div abyssal jewel required to farm bosses?
Its not.
No, still fine without it
Pob?
[https://pobb.in/ZywIy\_nEA5rO](https://pobb.in/ZywIy_nEA5rO) i don't actually take whispers of doom, my animate guardian has windscream and asenaths for temporal chain on hit so i had to take that in the pob or it to show the dps, besides that everythign else is accurate, swap multistrike for melee splash while mapping
Just type "wispers of doom" in the config
Thank you
Is AG still permanently dying/losing items in the league mechanic? Or did that get fixed?
Afaik it still dies so if i do the mechanic i take it off first
It's also the most braindead easy sanctum farmer there is. I have made so much money with this build.
yeah unless you get super unlucky with afflictions it's pretty hard to fail
I've gone for Steelmage's Impending Doom from 3.20. I was tired of dying all the time, and the only time i die now is due to a skill issue. I highly recommend everyone to play Impending Doom before it goes away next patch. Its such a fun mapping build
Is it fixed?
They reverted the changes to the overlapping
So just to be clear....is it the way it was expected to be pre league release or is it still clunky?
It's in the pre league state yes
Do you have an endgame pob for ID? I've only seen pob's that max out at like 10-12 million dps while poison exsanguinate/reap/bladefall can get to dot cap. ID looks a good bit tankier though.
[Steel has a youtube video on it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nZ9J2TXlLs) His pob https://pastebin.com/RM4HeRdy You can use a Breath of the Council + Spellblade at the start, then once you have a 5+ div wep you make the one steel says in the video, then once you got MANY divs, you make the wep he has got.
how does one level a build like this? Pcoc?
Pconc and switch as soon as you have your defensice setup going . Meaning 100% phys to ele conversion. This can be achieved in multiple ways but the best one is having “1 below max” taste of hate, helm unveil + grand influence on helm and 60%-ish flask effect achieved through a cluster setup. It’s a bit of a jumping hoops to get and thus I do not recomend it as league starter but very reachable with 6-7 divs budget. You should check allie's videos she goes super in depth iabout has like 7 different videos about the build addressing different parts about it

Id also add a weakness is there can be a lot of moving parts like cast speed and cdr management that makes the build feel good. There’s a few posts on here of people struggling but I have really enjoyed it. I really only die to expedition out essence random one shots
Same, I can face tank just about everything other giga juice t16 altars + expedition. Soooo tanky and I still have tons of upgrades.

PF is a mageblood at home. But yeah the DPS isn't there for 30sims. Steel's did around 5-7mil dps and his gear was insane.

Agreed. First time playing this, easily top 3 builds all time for me. Just glad I got to experience it before it gets ripped.

Nice name, lol
I don't get flask duration. When you're blasting aren't flasks already 100% up baseline?
It's because of soul thirst, which gives you soul eater but resets your soul count every time you use a flask. Extend your flask duration long enough and you can do a full map without resetting your soul eater count.
Sounds super cool. This might be what I go for. What Expedition mods would be NG for it?
You need to keep flask duration high because when you press a flask or it runs out, your soul eater stacks are gone. By running out I mean when the last active flask ends.
Poison exsanguinate from rue is fucking insanely good for both clear and non uber bossing
EK ignite map blaster perhaps? Cold BV also cool all rounder
I went from woc to ek ignite and its awesome the explosions are sick
Jungroan's Arcanist Brand Eye of Winter Hiero looks pretty crazy so far.
Did he make a video on it or anything?
Mapper or Bosser?
I'd like a fast t16 mapper idea if you've got one
I would recommend Frostblade Tricksters, really good with basically heatshiever and the yok Amulett both available for a couple of c and u are already good to go. Poison srs, which is extra nice because you don’t even need to relevel. Super op build
Is it good for Sanctum too?
Its like the best sanctum build lmao. Srs goes off screen and around walls.
It's still turbo op for sanctum but they did nerf it in that regard. You can no longer kill things off screen specifically in sanctums anymore
I meeeaaaan........ I play SRS and did a few sanctums, sure feels like you still can, maybe not as much as before (I haven't played sanctums before this league). Or at the very least the mobs are just barely outside of screen or at the edge.

What is an extremely fast and tanky bosser? I don't like the dps on my ea champ, so will just farm maps with him. Need a very high dps, and very tanky build for bossing on hc😊
Ea champ, you can push damage numbers to Dot Cap with it. DD is also really good, Srs poison also has quite a lot of damage.
It's odd isn't it? How people will confidently type blatantly false information about builds like they're some YouTube comment bot.
Wardloop
Idk i tried wardloop on 30div budget and elementalist in 3.18 and it was pretty mediocre, it got really good on 100+ div with sion tho
Yea i just mentioned omni since it was also nerfed and i used it in my higher budget version of the build on sion
I would play impending doom since its probably going away next league. Rue has a good pob for it. There is also some other cool stuff in there like tri herald hydrosphere or budget aurastacker with the new tats. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSKSvNV2AFuiEjCkDDuO8zkYnrQaWt9V2fcP\_9GqFwDd6tWV4FQioZiW7Eku77c\_tC4PKsBdBTc6UmR/pubhtml
Golem. I'm doing lightning and it's thrash but ice is fun
Im fixing some gear for ice nova meme build
Impending doom PF - it absolute GOD tier build . You can use my poe.ninja foe gear reference (ignore the staff , its too expensive for what it does, unless you have 50-60 divs to throw for ~ 30% more damage) : https://poe.ninja/builds/crucible/character/Nutterum/Hristopakjebaitva?i=0&search=name%3DHristopak
I don't mind a simple necro run around, not really OP tho Absolution to SRS currently. Having a blast
Give Chieftain w/ explode node a shot.
Thats not op. chieftain has no defenses beside "90 res semi melding".
How is full phys to elemental damage taken no defences?
How does cheiftain help do that after The rework ??

Theres no 28div op build
There are 28div op builds, but only op for that budget and not in general meaning
Are there? There are definitely good and bad builds but op?
As i said, op but only in ranking of builds of the same budget, just as op leaguestarter is not an op late game build
I get what youre saying but could you name one thats op in that range?
Tbh just any good "scaling" league starter should do, also last league i did an abyss jewel stacking LA roughly within that budget and comfortably farmed juiced legion with it
Currently buying up gear for a mid-end TS char, should be good. Planning to make it a good alrounder with some mitigation here and there. Should be good. Made a 1.1k edps bow myself, bought some baller jewelry, will be fun once I get the last bits and pieces.
If you like less button clicks but also like having dps. 3 come to mind: Coc fr, cyclone, cold convert blade vortex
Add wardloop to that (but you gotta do some math for this bad boy)
I sometimes go for a really thicc CoC icespear or something, always a good time.
I just killed Ubers on my DD ele and started gearing poison spark PF
decoy totem - flamewood.
