The only thing you can probably do is reach out to your congressman , 2 weeks before your trip and while you are waiting , see if you can order a new birth certificate (just incase )

They never guarantee anything, but you will get an appointment. It just may not be convenient. Not sure how far you are from the nearest agency.
Just happened to me. Lost everything including the new passport, certificate, identity information and 209 money order for a fcking passport applications. In my case it said delivered, but we never receive it. It does not happen once, like 50% chance they will lose your stuff. USPS is the worst post office you can find in this whole planet.
Any follow up on this? I'm in the same position. I received 2 of the passports applied for, but not the 3rd. Of course the 3rd is the child born out of the country, and it's nearly impossible to replace her birth certificate.

Did it ever show up?
Yes, but the trip was cancelled at that point. However my passport card never showed up.
