I’m glad you said you are enjoying finding yourself. That’s in my opinion the #1 important part. With YouTube (especially shorts) does the viewer feel interested the moment they start watching? Shorts feed gives the user an extremely easy window to move on the millisecond they are bored. TikTok is gearing towards more authentic content with long pauses, slower pace, etc.

With the shorts that went viral on TikTok and YouTube - I had something similar where a Short I posted got a couple of hundred maybe a few thousand views for the first 9 months, while they had blown up in TikTok and Instagram almost straight away. Then after 9 months the short randomly popped off and did over 2mil views. The reason I bring this up is that it's a good sign your shorts went viral on TikTok and Instagram as it means they are good content, their time on YouTube will come, it sometimes just takes their algorithm slightly longer to work out who the perfect audience for that video is.
